    I love the option to run it in the native mode. I can see the slide option is a macro. I also think that this is a custom macro that is created and not part of Cisco. Where can we download the macro???

      This feature is still in beta, so you would have to sign up for beta (gobeta.webex.com/) and move your device to the beta channel in order for the buttons to show up.

    brilliant - what would be the actual call flow with the zoom arc/sip offering ?

    • @otammalo
      @otammalo  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The device will dial the Zoom SIP URI into Zoom' CRC. No additional gateway or translation in between.

    Thanks for making these! Is it possible to access In-room controls from an MTR Cisco device, for third party control/system integration? Or is this feature only available in Room OS?

    • @otammalo

      Yes, you'll be able to access scripts / macros from the control panel in MTR mode. Here the more marketing blog post: blog.webex.com/collaboration-devices/bringing-the-powers-of-cisco-to-microsoft-teams-rooms/ and here the guide to achieve this: roomos.cisco.com/doc/TechDocs/UiExtensions

    Hi Ronald, Fantastic video! Thank you for this. I do have a quick question, We've revently deployed out first Cisco Room Bar. (Exchange Hybrid Calendar) We were able to sucessfully launch meetings via Teams and Webex. However, Were running into snags when trying to integrate with Zoom. Is there any documentation available to help walk through these steps?

    Great demo!!!
    Does these features (joining Webex or ZOOM meetings by SIP) require a dual registration of MTR device (concurrent registration of MTR to Teams and to Webex Control Hub)?

    • @otammalo

      So Cisco requires 2 licenses, one from Cisco one from Microsoft and this is still NOT a native Zoom Room, so things like Zoom Whiteboard, Zoom Chat, and Zoom Breakout Rooms are not supported, right?

    • @otammalo
      @otammalo  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@SeanTyrrell-m1e , the registration license of the device allows you not only native Zoom CRC calls (SIP based, which allow content sharing and Full HD video), but also comes with state-of-the-art device management, analytics, promotion prices for the devices, access to the most powerful meeting platform, plus... please get in touch with your account team, depending of the amount of devices, this license is very cheap.

    • @SeanTyrrell-m1e
      @SeanTyrrell-m1e 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      it’s not native Zoom and your post is misleading

    • @otammalo
      @otammalo  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@SeanTyrrell-m1e , thanks a lot for your feedback. I was giving my best to not mention "native Zoom" calls and I didn't mean to mislead you, please accept my apologies if I did. Whenever Zoom has been mentioned, I was referring to Zoom CRC / SIP based. Please let me know if I have missed it in my video, description or answer earlier. Even though, I would actually argue, Zoom CRC is kind of native Zoom, as CRC is a Zoom service, plus you can use most features via CRC depending on the license used, as shown in another video of mine: th-cam.com/video/lqkwMnRiTp4/w-d-xo.htmlsi=o0v64dPF1EE4oyGH

    How are you able to keep the Cisco Navigator in "normal Cisco mode" with the WebEx Board being in MTR mode? Does the navigator still work in conjunction with the WebEx board?

    • @otammalo
      @otammalo  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yes, do as follows...
      a) create workspace
      b) add device (Navigator, NOT the MTR device)
      c) configure scheduling, etc.
      d) register Cisco MTR device
      Yes, it will still work
