That little nugget at the end about routing mic audio out the main analogue out is what i needed. I knew you didn't want the far end coming out of there and somehow just the local mics.
Great demonstration! We have the "Call from Laptop" option working on our Room Kit Plus running Room OS 11.x, and the Inogeni device. Question: Is it possible to get shared content to display on screen 2 instead of self view when using this option?
Hi Craig. You can not while using the macro. Were using that channel to send the users video. Any new cisco video endpoint now has usb-c pass through built in and you can do what you want. So at your next upgrade it will do what you want 😀
Hello from your reviews what you show I am interested in this camera Can it be used for Security cameras to monitor the room we are talking about a model TTC8--10 Thank you let me know please
Have you looked at Meraki video surveillance cameras? This would be a better solution for what you are trying to do. meraki.cisco.com/products/smart-cameras/
Could you elaborate on what did you plugged in to your Mac? is that the HDMI cable from the Cisco telepresence? That's all we have coming from the Cisco device. thank you
I dont want Cisco anything, dont want it plugged into network. Just need a decently crisp camera and microphones for Teams that’s TAA Compliant. WIll this work without network connection as USB pass through device?
Yes there are TAA compliant video endpoint. But these are designed and manufactured by Cisco. If Cisco does not work in your network for some reason I would encourage you to look at other vendors.
Nice, just what I wanted to know. Thank you very much. One mre thing: can you configure the HDMI so that the sound gets sent via the HDMI to the capture card? Greetings from Germany.
Hi! Only on the codec pro can we re-route the microphones to the hdmi. If it’s not a codec pro then you have to use the 3.5mm headphone jack and cable.
@@CiscoSal , if one have an amplifier. how do you connect the amplifier and the inogeni to the same audio output port on the room kit plus that has only one audio output port
It is not compatible with the webex board. The pro model has the usb pass through built in. But there is no access to the codec on the non-prob version.
your shared video is awesome, but can you give the connection diagram of this model, that would be great and it could be easier for me to understand. thank you very much
You can get the device from a bunch of different places including amazon. Just do a Google search. As for the macro check it out here roomos.cisco.com/macros/USB%20Mode%20Version%202
This capture box costs over $600 when there are MUCH cheaper HDMI capture devices out there. WHY would you tell people they need this one? Lazy research, probably paid by Inogeni to make this
This was not paid for by Inogeni. I don’t do sponsors on this channel. If you can find a device that’s less expensive go for it. The Inogeni box is the only one that Cisco has tested extensively. Cisco is not making money and does not sell the Inogeni box. This box works to solve basic setups and some of the most complex room setups. I have no problem looking at another box you find and giving my input. But I do want to reiterate this is not paid for nor do I make any money from inogeni. I did this video because I believe they have the best device to do what we need it to do.
@@CiscoSal I've tested with DIGITNOW USB Video Capture Card. Works well on the codec pro. Haven't tried the plus yet. *Edit: Only issue I've found to date is the card doesn't appear to passthrough HDMI-CEC.
Yep exactly. It’s a work around. Check out all the new cisco video devices. Usb-c all built in and you actually don’t even need it now because we have native support for teams, webex, zoom and google built in!

Question for you, what cable sends the mic signal? Once the "geni" was installed the mic no longer works.
Thanks about your help. I have a one question, it can be with only the control remote? Or i need yes or yes the CS-Touch to work with that bro?
is there anything that works with the SX20?

Do you use an External Power cable to INOGENI, Or does this INOGENI unit take power from a laptop
It needs its own power
Interesting video, thanks! It also doesn't work with the SX10, I'm guessing, right?
where can I get the macros???

Hello Sal,
can you use any video capture device or it has to be the Inogeni?
We only tested and will only support the inogeni. Will other capture devices work? Probably, but you would be on your own if you hit issues.
Hello, many thanks for the video. Is it possible to duplicate screen 1 to screen 2?
Not in the current version. Screen 2 would be self view only when in usb mode.
