Fable II is a 2008 action role-playing open world video game, the second installment in the Fable game series, and the sequel to 2004's Fable. The story takes place within the fictional land of Albion, 500 years after the first game. Players assume the role of a young hero who is destined to stop a former ruler turned madman from destroying the world. The game features several prominent actors portraying major characters in the game, including Zoë Wanamaker, Ron Glass and Stephen Fry.

Fable 4 is probably gonna suck from the looks of it, at the very least I have no intentions of playing as a female ogre goblin gremlin creature.
This game is supposed to take place over the course of decades so it’s really awesome to see someone play it in real time 😅

for those who havn't played the game, if you do goofy emotes during the funeral scene, you can hear the monks badly trying to supress their giggeling and laughter, similar to the Biggus Diccus scene in "The live of Brian"
Seeing Kevin not absorb his level up points from enemies and knowing it will be next year till he plays again so he won't remember to do so is so frustratratingly funny to me

Long but worth the read.
My friend and I were doing a playthrough of Fable 3. In that game the cutscenes are live. So while I (The king at that time) was getting married he started to cheer and shoot into the sky. Thanks to the aiming in that game he shot my wife in the head as we kissed and every NPC start to scream and panic. After the cutscene I got a notice that my child (Who's mother is now dead) is being taken away due to domestic violence.
A few day later we were playing again and I got remarried. I went into bowerstone when a voice from behind us shouted "Daddy" there he was. The child who was taken from be but now a young boy with a pacifier above his head showing that he was indeed my child. He was an orphan and I was able to adopt him so I did.
When I tried to move him into the castle my new wife said she would leave if the child of another woman lived there. I already had a second kid and didn't want them to be taken away either so I ended up buying a house and hiring a nanny to take care of my son in secret.
10/10 would let him shoot my wife again.
Woah I do a bi-yearly Fable run through of the series (such sweet nostalgia) and I never knew your spouse could hate the kids of previous marriages... that's rough lol.
In my PTs, I usually marry a few nobles to pop some kids out in Bower Lake so that they generate with the good outfits and not those shit ass overalls your kids usually get even when you're king. Then the spouses "die" (thankfully Bower Lake, the wealthiest district, is ofc overrun with deadly bandits and balverines lmao, very convenient) and I adopt the best two kids back to move in with Elise and I at the castle... never heard her complain before but it's a pretty sinister game I'm running so you think she'd get pissed. 😂
All that being said though, Fable multi-player (esp local) is underrated. I have so many good, nostalgic memories of fucking around with friends in Fable 2 + 3. The randomness and absurdity is comedy gold.

@@jessematthews4168They are really funny games. Fable 1 is good, just a little limited as far as I can remember. 2 is the best 100%. 3 is good, but property management is a nightmare... Maybe some mods could make that a little better though.
@@VinylCreatorthe first was by far the best before the guns when you could use cool spells like multi arrow and fire 8 arrows off it really let you play any combination you wanted and you could easily become a property tycoon
Hopefully by the time you finish Fable 3, Fable 4 will finally be out 💀
I don't think they are working on it, pretty sure lions gate went near bankrupt with Fable 3.

I don't think it's a continuation of the trilogy though.

@@Xpancakes11XI can see Kevin completely forgetting he even planned ahead at all.. because the game does in fact generate income when you don't play. He's going to come back to 8760 hours worth of income next year, if he remembers he bought the bookstore and goes to collect it.
The best part of the yearly Kevin Fable game is the forgetfulness between and how he relearn things like hitting innocents.
Ugh, this reminds me of when I found a great potential wife on this game, was going great but she was immediately murdered by bandits . I was so casually immersed and this made me suddenly snap out of it and go thru the 5 stages of grief

The chocolate cheer up is a tried and true method to save any strugling relationship. Works as well in real life as it does in game, like Kevin attested. You would do well to remenber his genius in your time of need and always keep a chocolate in your pocket, just in case...

The marriage quest at the start has a 3rd less obvious ending, if you kill Alex before marrying her she'll appear at her jilted lover and they'll live happily ever after.

Not sure if anyone has said this yet, but the giant spoon @ 23:02 is is actually a device used by servants in wealthy families to warm up the bed during the winter months. You'd fill it with hot coals and spread it across the bed. It was also pretty good at combatting bed bugs.

Condoms used to be made out of animal intestines or bladders usually sheeps.
The condom is actually period appropriate too. Before modern condoms made of latex, we had condoms made of sheepskin or chemically treated linen.
I'm almost 100% sure the description in the game mentions it being sheep intestines. That's what they used... Yeah.

Last night, for no particular reason, I was watching last year's epsiode, and commented hopefully that the next episode would be out soon. Less than 24 hours later, here it is. I feel like I predicted the future, and may have freaked out a little about that. All that aside, I am excited to watch this year's episode.

Always great to see someone have fun with Fable 2! I was on the testing team for the Xbox 360 release and I enjoyed the project.
While it's been many years now and I don't remember a lot, I do recall one bug in which I could walk over a specific section of ground.. and the dog would explode. His textures just stretched and warped out into the sky until he was just a ghost dog running around, invisible.
I feel like fable is the perfect game created for Kevin and all the evil he loves to do 😂😂

Fable 1 and 2 are two of the best games ever made, amazingly fun even today
Still got Fable 1 for my Xbox and I go back to it once in a while. They're still fine games, despite the dated graphics 🙂

I loved my time with fable 2, my main character was morbidly obese, spent the entire game drunk to the point of projectile vomiting mid combat, had a wife and family in every village and his primary quest was to collect as many STD's as possible. That's the kind of quality gameplay you just don't get any more.
I buy houses and rent them out cheap. Then set system clock ahead a few years, and then everyone loves me.

i was worried for a bit that we werent gonna get a fable 2024, literally only experienced this series through your videos
Man. I was there for the release Fable but it's 2018, and i remember thinking how great it was that Kevin picked up my favorite game again. At that point he did not return to games often after one video on them (and the videos were like 10-15 minutes), and so when Fable but it's 2017 did not get an immediate continuation i kind of abandoned all hope. But he not only continued a year later, but made it a tradition.
So much has happened since then, and i don't visit the channel as much as i used to back then, but every year i look forward to a new Fable video.
My friend literally just told me about this and I am so excited to find someone who plays Fable, and every year! WHERE HAVE I BEEN?

tip for next year, can't remember the button but you can attract all the xp orbs in your area. I always forget about it. definitely buy as much property as you can and keep rent fairly high. good work, looking forward to the next year or sooner!

I just find it hilarious this is a common npc feature , complimenting anything to be nice to younger people playing. Very cute idea nobody does that anymore. Just like 7pm cussing on TV. That went out the window about ten years ago and I don't get why. My five year old cousin says fuck all the time because his parents argue and swear in front of him. He can't handle confrontation just goes time to kick your ass and not think its wrong then get pissed when someone does it back very lightly in comparison

If you buy a house and lower or raise rent you can skip system time and raise or lower your fame. And get tons of money either way.
