- This one is packed with ALL THE FEELS! For many, this is just a whatever Star Wars game. For me, Clone Wars cuts deep into some core Xbox memories. Packaged in with Tetris Worlds, this unique double pack was home to some of my first ever gaming memories.

Yo, I played the hell out of this game with my brothers. I honestly forgot all about it. Thank you for unlocking some amazing memories for me.
It’s backwards compatible now
Star Wars games and Lucas Arts were just on a fucking roll during this time.
Honestly I have more memories during this "Golden Age" of Star Wars games than the movies themselves.
I've always felt the Star Wars setting is actually much better suited to video games than films. The proof seems to be in the pudding; the number of amazing Star Wars games vastly outnumbers the films.
Same here! lol I remember watching the Phantom Menace in theatres and I loved it because I was like 9 years old and didn't know any better. But yeah I remember talking to other kids about the games. Especially Battlefront 2 when it came out in 2005. I had another friend who got me into Republic Commando at the time too.
@@UndyingNephalimi used to love the episode 3 movie tie in game, battlefront 2 (the real one), Lego SWTCS, and i loved Star Wars bounty hunter so much too. Ugh this era of Star Wars games was so unmatched….
The 360 had insane double packs for games. I remember Halo 3 with Fable 2, ODST with Forza Moto 3, LEGO Batman with Pure, and Kung Fu Panda with LEGO Indy. They had a pack in of XBLA game codes with a controller at one point too.
The XBLA/Sega Allstars Tennis was a fun one too.
I did get for holidays the Elite version with Kung Fu Panda and Lego IJ, and also the game of forza motorsport2, such good times
I had Oblivion with Bioshock but they also had Oblivion with Fallout 3
so there's Star Wars The Clone Wars, Star Wars: Clone Wars, Star Wars - The Clone Wars.
Its pretty fitting a game about clones has alot of clones of the game about clones itself.
Don't forget Lego star wars 3 the clone wars
Star Wars Jedi Starfighter
Attack of the clones
clones do sum pew pew with pew pew guns
Such a underrated gem
Love the Lucas arts intro in this game. The music the animation 👌. Chef's kiss.
THIS GAME!!!!! Grew up on this and me and my brother played the battle mode and Jedi arena modes so much! Love this era in Star Wars games and I probably still remember some of the cheat codes on GameCube. Goated game
In the old EU/Legends, this game takes between Attack of the Clones and the Genndy Tartakovsky Clone Wars cartoon.
It was all part of the Dark Reaper Crisis story arc. They even use planets and characters from the EU like Rhen Var and Ulic Quel Droma
I miss those day. Good to see you here fellow old timer ❤
Every time I see Rhen Var, I just can't help but read in Temuera Morrison's voice like in Battlefront 1
Was slightly miffed that he overlooked the fact Ulic was in this and had a sit down with Anakin via a holocron like device, but the rest of the video was fine.
5:15 I agree. Not a huge fan of star fox but star fox assault is an absolute blast. I LOVE the mix of vehicle, jet, and boots on the ground gameplay
6:35 Halo was the reason the twin analog solution exists. It proved the FPS could work well on console.
I was a GameCube kid and got this after Battlefront came out, hoping it would be similar to that and obviously being bummed that it wasn’t. The game has definitely grown on me over the years though, plus having a very EU novel feeling plot is fun.
I loved playing this game and was excited to see it could be bought on the Xbox Series S, was the first game I bought for that console.
This time when playing I only died to those giant hover tanks shaped like x’s. Seeing how destructive they were and I was “darn, if the seps made these things they would have destroyed the Republic”. Didn’t even die to the Dark Reaper.
Sadly I can’t play multiplayer with the game.
I still have this on disk! I love bringing up the “Tetris Star Wars” unprompted
I loved this game, it was freakin weird! Vehicle fighting a sith ghost and flying saucer and all that.
Great game so nostalgic for me!
Best character to use for the Geonosis Arena was absolutely the Wookie Warrior since he always had his gun up from the hip and had WAY more health than the clone troopers did. Only issue you’d have when playing with friends is that he would get destroyed in the “Duel” mode that came up roughly every 3 rounds if you played against other players using Jedi characters. Other than that, he had near-limitless range on his weapon so combine that with the health boost and the aiming function for him, you could just blow through the waves like they were nothing!
I don’t like using vehicles in games either but this was definitely the best game using a variety of vehicles in satisfying missions with just enough balance of Jedi gameplay too. In addition, the optional objectives were fun to achieve unlike most games today where they ask you not to engage in combat or something. Let’s face it, that’s the best part of playing almost any game!
This plus Battlefront plus Lego plus Bounty Hunter plus KOTOR. Banger after Banger after Banger from Lucas
This game is one of my favorites growing up. My favorite missions were geonosis, evacuation of Rhen Var and the mission defending the Wookiee village. The difficulty was great because it can be challenging with all the enemies especially if they are grouped up. Great is game and anakins “I would if I could” line became a regular thing for me to say as a kid lol.
I remember getting this double pack. I was stuck on one of the levels in this game and never could beat it. Similarly to one of the final levels in munch’s Oddyssey. I’d love to go back and beat it, now that I have motor skills and an adult brain.
My double pack for this was like two games on one disc, this game and Tetris.
I got stuck whenever I had to fight the giant x shaped tanks, got stuck in that fight against those dark Jedi on geonsis, got stuck in the speeder bike part.
Funny when I was younger I got stuck frequently and later when revisiting the games I can beat them with pretty much ease. (Like in Revenge of the Sith when I went back to play it, my only deaths came from… fighting Nute Gunray’s ship (the only deaths in the whole game was to that)
@@richardtouchstone5508 The part that always made me mad was the kashyyk level where you have to outrun the point gas. I remember that happening so fast and me trying to save the wookies was so hard to do. I can't remember if I ever beat the entire game or not.
This is gonna sound pathetic, but level 3 Raxus Protodeka.
@@higherground9888 I got stuck on that originally but now I don’t ever lose to it.
I got the game again and have only died on the first Kashyyk level, always on the same spot.
@@richardtouchstone5508 It's entirely because the Raxus fight drops the power ups and Missile Ammo halfway through. It simply takes too long too beat that thing with Standard Tank lasers.
loved to play this game back in the day! But I think you should know this was on the Game Cube!!! Thats how I played it, didnt know it was on the xbox!
If you have an Xbox series console you can buy this game. It is one of the only games I don’t uninstall whenever I am trying to get a new game and have to clear space.
A lot star wars games are on xbox
Replayed it a few weeks ago and was reminded why it was a favorite of mine growing up.
The cool thing about the OLD Starwars canon is that it loosely fits together. This game fits after Episode 2 and it fits before the 03 Clone Wars micro series and with Battlefront 2 and it features Ulic Qel-Droma from the Tales of the Jedi comics. Then George Lucas had to undo the old canon with 08 Clonewars.
First game i got with my xbox and tetris. My lawd this was my favorite game around the time until KOTOR came out
Very fun game, loved it as a kid. This and Rogue Squadron 3 were constantly swapped outta my GameCube
Extremely UNDERRATED GAME. Really great if you can play it on emulator. It was basically like a pre-Battlefront. It was Pandemic's first time making a large scale battle game. The scale was pretty amazing.
It's on the PS Store now
@@243Abolerz Yeah but doesn't it have a 30 FPS cap like all older console games? On emulator you can play it at 60+ FPS and get some other graphical advantages such as aliasing and widescreen.
@@-CrimsoN- no it does not. I'm currently playing on 60 FPS and there are graphical improvements
@@243Abolerz That's pretty neat. I think I still prefer emulation though for personel preference and customizability.
I got this with Tetris Worlds when I picked up my OG Xbox. I did not expect to love Clone Wars as much as I did.
Same I remember my cousin has his Xbox filled with so much hip hop music and he would always fall asleep listening to music with the visual player
Loved and adored this gem. This is yet another classic Star Wars game that needs the remaster treatment. Still waiting for Jedi Power Battles, Obi-Wan, Jedi Knight II as well. Let's get this done! I want them all!!!
Awesome video!
I played this game with my cousins on their ps2 back in the day. Loved everything about it.
Few years later I got a gamecube and fell in love (to this day) with Star Fox Assault, and I always thought about it too, how it was the "clone wars" for gamecube XD
same man. the versus matches were so good. raiding the bases and all that. and the arena game mode with them was so fun too
Played this a lot with my Dad and siblings, great game. Never really occurred to me how this was essentially a proto Star Wars Battlefront, but it makes a lot of sense.
I played a little of this game. Was never huge on it but I also didn’t understand how the game worked much in my younger years. Huge BF and BF2 fan though, and of course the KOTOR games.
I admire anyone who has their childhood video game copies and such
In 2004 i had a house fire at 9 years old and lost everything
First game developer I remember being aware of was Eidos. I was a dumb kid and read it as "Eddy ohs"
The second one was Neversoft. The Tony Hawk games were big for me. They also made the first Spider-Man game I ever loved.
There is a vague memory of me recognizing Capcom before these, but I don't think I knew that they were making the games. Back then I thought Sega and Nintendo made all the games.
One of the few Star Wars games I actually beat. Had it originally on Gamecube, have it now on Xbox.
I still have this game, definitely a gem worth having.
I used to play this on split screen with my dad and my sisters. Super nostalgic
I played this for hundreds of hours as a kid easily. Had it on the GameCube. Played mostly with my friends and we’d do that survival GameCube were you go against waves of enemy tanks and it gets harder and harder
That giant ship mid game was a damn grind. Let’s go in circles and blast here and there.
The Protodeka?
Yeah... They scared the shit out of me.
There was an old vehicle Star Wars game that I can’t think of the name but I remember a cheat code “chicken” would spawn you an at walker. Was my dream as a kid
This game had my favorite playable version of the LAAT. Being able to use the dual blasters, rockets, and all the beamers at once.
I loved this game as a kid. I played it constantly!
Aw man, I remember calling those Geonosian sonic turrets the "galaloo guns" as a kid
For those watching it, this has now been put onto the Xbox and PS Stores! Go jump on the classic and let then know we want more.
I had this for the game cube as a kid and i was play the multiplayer with my sister all the time!
This was one of my favorite games on xbox growing up! Huge star wars fan at the time
I miss playing this with my little brother back in the day
I remember my Xbox came with Star Wars The Clone Wars and Tetris in a double pack disc. Definitely getting this for PS4/PS5 as I could never beat the game on Xbox.
I can’t wait to play this on June 11th when this is added to the PlayStation Plus classic catalog.
I played this game so much, and I loved the base capture mode, but I hate the fact it's multiplayer only. I rarely got to play that mode and always wanted to play it.
My brothers and I DEVOURED this game until we got Battlefront I and II on PS2. We played that arena for hours at a time
ah standing at the back of the cave in geonosis with a walker shooting any of the small fry that comes up and not getting hit your self. good times
also the execution arena with the waves of droids
that cave i spent hours in with a friend of mine. i just remember one wave with a huge ship killing us everytime dont remember much ^^
Used to play this a a lot as a kid. Also played a lot of the Jedi academy with my brother. So many hours.
my favorite part about this game were the soldiers that were across the map fighting each other
When I played it as a kid I was disappointed that I could finally play as a Jedi but they primarily used vehicles. Did not expect it.
I remember playing this a lot as kid. Idk how I beat it I went back and tried to play it and I couldn’t l😂. I remember my mom pushing me off cause she wanted to play Tetris great times.
Gotta love an Xbox 2 pack. I’ve got that one, NCAA Football/Top Spin, SEGA GT/Jet Set Radio, and maybe one or two others. Good stuff.
I played this game so much as a kid but I never remember actually beating it so I went back a few months ago and beat it
As a kid I was so happy to play as Mace windu 😂 on a side note I was first introduced to this game on my cousins Xbox later I got it on GameCube
Yes! I’m watching the show right now and considered playing this! Thank you :)
I could never get past the mission where you had to fight ghosts in an ice cave.
Conquest mode capturing bases and building bot team mates to go attack the enemy base. My Brothers and I went all out lol
Star Fox Assault shoutout??? My boy 🫱🏻🫲🏿
The multiplayer modes for this were great
I played this and galactic battle grounds clone campaigns back in the day.
I has this for PS2. The vehicle parts were pretty cool.
This game looks so fire. Explains a lot of battlefront 2 mechanics
I bought this game recently and started replaying it and oh my god I did not remember how bad the Jedi controls were wooooow.
Mine had Tetris worlds, Mechassault and Star Wars Clone Wars!
i played STAR WARS: CLONE WARS game and bet the game on the GameCube when it can out , played Thule Academy multiplayer mode with my dad, my brother, and me. my dad and my brother would pick the TX-130 Saber-class fighter tank, where i pick the AT-XT. where we could get to wave 40. after wave 20 ("the final wave") Difficulty ramp up to a ungodly level.
also the STAR WARS: CLONE WARS game for the GameCube came out October 29, 2002, the STAR WARS: CLONE WARS game for PlayStation 2 came out December 10, 2002 the STAR WARS: CLONE WARS game for X-box came out April 22, 2003
Man, I remember everyday I would input the codes to unlock every character on the Arena Mode. Btw, if you input "Natalie", it unlocks Padme 😂
Yo I beat this game off a rental back in the day. Man it was so fun!!
i played it on gamecube, one of the best starears games ever made
Best levels by far were Anakin on Kashyyk riding the dinosaurs.
The Star Fox comparison is great. Coincidentally this game is the biggest inspiration for Star Fox Event Horizon.
In all fairness, the company name "Pandemic" didn't exactly age well either.
The chad filter cracked me up more than it should have 😂
I loved the LAAT missions
My xbox came with this and little kid me loved it but I HAD to use the cheat codes. Its good to know the game was actually hard and it wasnt just my slow kid brain
I played this with my friend on Xbox years ago it’s probably one of the better games
Dude that game is where I got my gamer tag..
What a game this was!!!
Good news Matty watching this video because of a leak of a apparent remaster
Me too! I found it for $3.30 at my local store. How could I pass it up for that price?
This game has some amazing cheat codes. I miss when games had cheat codes.😢
Never knew about the cheat codes or hidden arena. Definitely dusting this one up.
Oh man. I remember this game. This was one of my most second Star Wars game that I liked. It was really fun and stuff. However, I couldn't beat it honestly. I got stuck in one level. The snowy level where I had these weird like electric tanicle creatures. If you know what I mean but I got stuck between that and I couldn't figure out how to beat it. How to get past? And I haven't played it since then. And I really did have fun memories with this game. I really did
I had the same double pack oh the memories
i would love to had been around when this was launched i bet the graphics where impressive for the time
I get that it's nostalgic to you and you're mostly basing this on your childhood experience with the game, but focusing the entire video on the ground combat is such a weird choice to me, haha. This game IS the vehicle missions, the Jedi stuff was basically a last minute addition, an after thought, and it shows. But I completely get you, when I was young I avoided this game like the plague because I HATED vehicle games. Eventually I started to really enjoy that part of sci-fi, and vehicle and space combat games, so when I was a bit older I gave the game a try and fell in love with its campaign.
Played this in January and loved it, except for the Jedi sections.
This game was fire! 🔥
I remember feeling so cheated when I booted this game up and couldn’t play as a clone trooper lol
Loved star Fox assault too
I hope we get a remaster of this with better controls
oh nah, they got anakin lookin' like will poulter
earned my sub
bruh i still own this on disc for og xbox, still has it in 2024
So true story, my story. I wanted this game *SO BAD* like, I complained and whined really bad just for this game. (On the Gamecube btw). My parents didn't have the money nor interest in getting this one game and tried appeasing me with others. Then, one day, they call a nearby Walmart that they said had Clone Wars. Turns out, they didn't. And we left with Crash Bandicoot Wrath of Cortex. As we left, my mom, blinded by the sun, ran over a street sign. Clone Wars gave my family a well and damn headache. Never got the game sadly. BTW this was like, back in 2005.
Ah, a core memory.
