Exploring Gmunden Austria | Traunsee

In this video, you will explore Gmunden in Austria with me. Gmunden is a town in upper Austria located on the north shore of Lake Traun (Traunsee). The population is about 13200.
You will see the must-see places in Gmunden as I visit Lake Castle Ort (Schloss Ort) and walk along Lake Traun (Traunsee) to find my way to Rathausplatz and then walk through the streets in Gmunden old town.

The buildings are all 3 stories or higher. Different from here in the US

If you are interested in WW2 history, you can combine a visit to Ebensee Concentration Camp Memorial when visiting Gmunden. Here is the video: th-cam.com/video/4tGDcgXq5SU/w-d-xo.html
Salzkammergut region is huge and beautiful. If you base yourself in Bad Ischl, I suggest you stay for at least 7 days and rent a car to explore the region. But don't rent a car if you plan to base yourself in Salzburg. Salzburg is a big city and not a good place for driving.
