i’ve watched so many fading videos and i don’t really understand that much but you took the time to really explain i actually learned from this video i liked how u told me when u opened and closed it and what number guard you used it gave me a better explanation on how you got that line out because i find blending one of a harder thing to do in my case
Jason Joseph this tutorial is very good, clear directions. I just gave myself a higher than midfade and it came out awesome, I’m going to use some of the pointers you mentioned in here once my hair grows back out
How about a taper fade, bro may God Bless you, and thanks for the video, I'm about to open up a new barbershop here in Mexico, and I've only been cutting for a about 8 months any advice you can give me... I would appreciate it bro...
Vincent Ledezma Congratulations on the shop!!! best advice I can give is to keep learning. the barber game always evolves. take pieces from other barbers and create your own style.
Very nice....the right side was blended better than his left......I saw a line....it was the bald line on the right but this cut was fantastic. I like your style! I have a request.....can you tell your camera man to zoom in closer so we can see more of how you blend? Thanks in advance!
Cody the Barber you should focus on removing one guide line first before you move on another . I usually fade out my bald guide line last so I don't end up bringing my fade to high
What's the advantage of doing the second line with the 1 guard closed vise the clipper open blade. Most people do start guide with zero on clipper bald out then half or open blade make another guide . But you went from zero to creating another guide with your 1 guard ??
Can I do this same thing and start the fade lower? I get people in school who wants a low bald fade. This is a great video and great camera angles. I am in school and will use this for my next bald fade. I have problems with fades and your teaching is spot on. Thanks
alphacharlie65ms thanks for your comment. you can do this fade for sure ! it will work for a low fade 100% 🙌. if you have any questions feel free to ask. if anything wasn't clear on the video feel free to ask also
Im subscribing now! dammmmn! I like your work brother! It’s so lit! 🔥 I’m fan of yours now here at the Philippines 🇵🇭 😊 God Bless you! more power brother!
Great post and thanks for sharing your technique! Have you ever used the braun series shavers? Thats what Im using but i never tried the andis or wahl shavers.
I watch a lot of these videos and this might be the best fade I’ve seen done so far. This is also the first video I’ve seen of yours jdub however the only thing I didn’t enjoy is it felt like you have the speed way to fast for the video I can’t speak for everyone but I like to be able to see more of what you are doing. It made me dizzy watching.
Nice cut.On my clients with straight hair that front overhang I hit with the clipper over comb because it throws the lineup off when it overhangs in my opinion.Haircut was fire and I don't know about them shavers being the best on the market. In the top ten but not the best, you have companies that only make shavers mostly that are way better than them garage door openers....That's what they look like to me and not good for tight spots either..But to each it's own..Barberlove and you're dangerous with them clippers.my.man...
Any reason you switched from the slim lines to the t outliner during the line up? I noticed that and was just curious if you find the t outliners better? Or were just used to them?
James Howard I noticed that my slim line wasn't edging him up as sharply as I wanted, so I made the switch. I find some outliners cut differently depending on the hair. sorry for any confusion. thanks for the comment and watching 🙌❤
Jason Joseph i cut my own hair but i have trouble blending from a #8 ontop to the zero with the andis shaver..any ideas of what guards should i use to blend from. #8 to the zero with the andis shaver?
Cody the Barber I'm sorry I'm new to this so this may be a dumb question lol but do you need the 00000 to be same brand as clipper? Or are they universal?
I have one question if anyone can answer it please! Is a 1 guard open the same thing as the 1.5 guard? And if so if you don’t have a 1.5 guard you can still 1.5 it with a one open
How long does it take you for a cut like this? I've been cuting for almost 2 years now, and for a skin fade I need at least an hour Btw I'm self tought
Nice fade! But it was hard to follow with the All of the special effects and camera man moving all over the place. I liked your technique but would like to see a video with a stable camera.
Man I am starting to hate this haircut in particular, it gave me bad habits, I used to do clean tapper fades, since I started doing this haircut more often I stopped getting smooth fades on my tappers and I still can't pint point exactly what I am doing wrong, and now my mid bald fades aren't fading well too... But that tip you gave on doing the bald guideline is one of them, I have to get my razor game in there to fade it out, and after watching this vid I think my problem is using a #2 Guard instead of a #3, it's a little more edgy to get the fade to stand out since at the #2 clip the hair volume is so low it no longer looks that dark.
excuse me sir, I'm from PH. I just want to know what is the significant name of that haircut, because they don't know in here about the English name of the cut.
Honestly, this is the best fade I've seen on TH-cam & you used half the steps. Salute to you, Jdub!
shaithebarber agreed this is fire 🌊
it's true. drawing the first bald guide is harder to get rid off. that's why I started using my balding clippers again.
Absolutely the best tutorial I have seen man. You kept it simple. Great fade brother. Congrats and keep up the great job.
i’ve watched so many fading videos and i don’t really understand that much but you took the time to really explain i actually learned from this video i liked how u told me when u opened and closed it and what number guard you used it gave me a better explanation on how you got that line out because i find blending one of a harder thing to do in my case

Yeah, this is the best way I've seen to cut hair, it's the easiest way I liked it
Best fade I've seen. Good job!

Kayla Kentner, I know right he will be famous in no time...
nice cut bro, watching your work all the way from Mexico, that's what I call a mid fade...
Vincent Ledezma I appreciate the feedback back. do you have any suggestions for a new video?
How about a taper fade, bro may God Bless you, and thanks for the video, I'm about to open up a new barbershop here in Mexico, and I've only been cutting for a about 8 months any advice you can give me... I would appreciate it bro...

Very nice....the right side was blended better than his left......I saw a line....it was the bald line on the right but this cut was fantastic. I like your style! I have a request.....can you tell your camera man to zoom in closer so we can see more of how you blend? Thanks in advance!
You should do a tutorial on tips and tricks to do a front line up . Video is on point !
Hao Tran that's a great idea! I'll put 1 up in 2 weeks
Yo this is the cleanest fade I’ve seen on YT.
Yea your videos are dope some of the best I’ve ever seen on TH-cam ... keep it up man
im still in school . my fades are coming together well but i often get lost in a fade trying to blend abd just creating more lines. any advice?
I have the same problem in school.
Cody the Barber you should focus on removing one guide line first before you move on another . I usually fade out my bald guide line last so I don't end up bringing my fade to high
Good tip.
Now that's a clean cut 👌🏾

wilfredo Reyes it's all preference. I think it's harder to fade the half out with the #1. but I can fads into the #1 using my half easier
Bro... I dont even remember subscribing to you. Cant wait to come back up there! Was definitely a great experience with Amjad and the crew! Bless up!!
Can I do this same thing and start the fade lower? I get people in school who wants a low bald fade. This is a great video and great camera angles. I am in school and will use this for my next bald fade. I have problems with fades and your teaching is spot on. Thanks

Lots of help! Thanks
Aye Great tip on removing Bulk first ...
royal skinner it makes the fade so much easier
Amazing video. If my clippers do not have a 1 1/2 guard what do I do? Is it the same as a closed 2 and an open 1? (I zero gapped)
I like it!! More videos for sure! Fast feed videos
Gage Martin I'll post a fast feed video for sure. I've been using it for 15 yrs. I just started to use the magic clip this year

Nice vid bro! Super clean!!
Great post and thanks for sharing your technique!
Have you ever used the braun series shavers? Thats what Im using but i never tried the andis or wahl shavers.
rockyroadbarber no I haven't. is it good?
Jason Joseph they are really good. plus it has its own cleaning station.
Sick fade
Iloveyour vids from🇵🇭✌🏾
This was clean asf subbed
Very decent video bro how would this process work for a high and low fade?
Steadmyster it works the exact same way! Your initial guideline will have to be higher or lower depending, but same rules apply
You sound very friendly
Very good job man...
Loved the video. Currently getting my license. Do you have a taper video? 💈✂️💯
dope fade tutorial
What is his length on top?
Ferg Himself looks like #5 or #6 with the grain
TMoney nah it’s definitely longer than that. Maybe an 8 that’s overgrown by a week or two
Nathan Regan I said with the grain which is longer
Cool one dude keep it up
Clean fade

perfect job
nice tutorial

Jason Joseph i cut my own hair but i have trouble blending from a #8 ontop to the zero with the andis shaver..any ideas of what guards should i use to blend from. #8 to the zero with the andis shaver?
559 calii hey! what Andi clipper do you use?
Jason Joseph the andis masters with the magnetic guards the and the colored whal from walmart lol only to set the first guideline and the #8 ontop
Jason Joseph i also used the andis gtx t-outliners
Best fade
How much does this cut go for and where you located?
cara que cabelo show de bola .. aprendi muito irmão Deus abençoe
When you use the number 3 at the bigginning is it open or close??
Close
Not bad Hope to see more vids.
Nasty fade
i like cleaning up/ bald guideline with a 00000 blade on my oster 76. its fast effective and saves your t blades from dulling
Cody the Barber I use that also. alot of people don't have a 00000 blade, so I just updated my liner for teaching purposes. thanks for your comment! 🙏
Jason Joseph great point. this is a great video. thanks
Cody the Barber i do the same too 👍
Cody the Barber I'm sorry I'm new to this so this may be a dumb question lol but do you need the 00000 to be same brand as clipper? Or are they universal?
I’m really trying to get this haircut what do I ask for to get this haircut
pretty nice!
I have one question if anyone can answer it please! Is a 1 guard open the same thing as the 1.5 guard? And if so if you don’t have a 1.5 guard you can still 1.5 it with a one open
What number did you put it on the top?
whats this haircut called?
ayeee using that Camr’on Beatttt
What should I tell my barber If I want this haircut?
1 love for Amsterdam ❤️
Nice !
If you’re working with andis , would you substitute the 1 1/2 guard for a 2 ?
Lupe Fraire yes I would. Followed by the andis #1 opened
For me this was hard to follow. Kind of all over the place technique. Super clean though 👍🏼
Same thing I thought. But yes amazing work
How long does it take you for a cut like this? I've been cuting for almost 2 years now, and for a skin fade I need at least an hour
Btw I'm self tought
Mladen Jerkic damn 1 hour?
You’ll get faster with practice
Would this haircut look good, this haircut exactly, look good on people with long faces?
what does finger length mean
Nice fade! But it was hard to follow with the All of the special effects and camera man moving all over the place. I liked your technique but would like to see a video with a stable camera.
When i get this haircut how do i keep the bangs like how do i tell my barber??
KiNG ask for a crop top
keep the camera more stedy so we can see but overall great cut freshhh
late to the party but fire fade
How do I ask my barber for this haircut? I have a widows peak and I don’t want my forehead looking big
Grow hair long on top?
👌👌🔥
What’s the name of this haircut
Man I am starting to hate this haircut in particular, it gave me bad habits, I used to do clean tapper fades, since I started doing this haircut more often I stopped getting smooth fades on my tappers and I still can't pint point exactly what I am doing wrong, and now my mid bald fades aren't fading well too... Where you based in Toronto Joseph ? I’m moving to Toronto and want to get a cut from you whilst I’m there
excuse me sir, I'm from PH. I just want to know what is the significant name of that haircut, because they don't know in here about the English name of the cut.
Amazing fade could you demonstrate a drop fade
