Hi Liz and Brian haven't been able to catch up much lately as I'm working night shift now but just wanted to say you both are so great and I love to catch up when I can.. ive got to catch up on the travels as I missed a load
Okay I’m a Māori male residing in Australia seen a few of your videos enjoy them , but what grates is your mispronunciation of a few Maori words . What I mean is if you can correctly pronounce Oakura, why then can’t you get Taranaki ( ta ra nuck ee- not nacki )
@@terrymoore3024 they've done it both ways.. even half of kiwis can't get it right so why get so sensitive when Liz and bri actually usually do attempt it properly.. the naki is how many people say it you don't see people getting worried about that
God, you made me laugh when you said "are those people called Brian" 🤣🤣. I would love you to show the actual walk and if you have him on, I will be a keen listener.
The kindness of Kiwis is so beautiful.yeRs ago we moved to NZ from UK with our dog. As we went thru the airport at Auckland, the staff said, we see you have your eeedog on the flight. He's fone. Then as we collected luggage, we were approached by the yea ladies yes tea ladies offering us tea. Amazing ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you so much, Andy, you are going to have a fabulous time when you come back home! Until then, sending much love to you and yours in Aus, my friend 🇦🇺🥰
Hi 1st time here, enjoying down to earth stories and experiences. Had a similar experience whilst holidaying in Nelson back in the 90s as you did with the Woolworths manager Wife and I were at a butchery just before closing time Friday. afternoon. Long story short wife forgot our atm card the butcher said, Holiday makers? Yes I'll be closed before you get your card. Take the meat, pay me on Monday. Real Kiwis are all over our nation flying under the radar. Condolences for your dad. Arohanui.
Lovely to hear this and you're right. Most people are kind. And friendly. And empathetic. And you two are a great example of all those qualities. Have a great summer. xxx
I watch your videos from time to time, especially i like interviews with new potential Kiwis. Me and my wife really want to come to NZ and become teachers. Your lovely stories keep me motivated Thank you, keep doing what you doing ☺

I've been watching your TH-cam channel for a few years but this is the first time I've left a comment 😂. I'm a big fan of you guys. I just wanted to wish you and your family a wonderful Christmas. May you always be blessed abundantly with everything that you ever wish for. Thank you for all the positive vibes that you spread to all the lucky people who stumbled on to your channel. I'm one of those lucky ones 😂. Happy holidays and stay safe from Wellington ❤❤🙏
Oh, my goodness...what a lovely message to open my computer to! Thank you so much for your kind words and Christmas wishes! It means such a lot to us. Thank you and sending lots of love to you and yours in Wellington ❤️ Liz and Brian ❤️
When you think about it, it’s really the 11th commandment. Do unto others as you would have them treat you. I’ve always found that the old adage applies. You catch more flies with honey than you do with vinegar. A wee story. A few years ago, I had a slight altercation with a man, who I had annoyed me. I bit my lip and over the next few days we spoke civilly. He introduced me to his wife and gradually over the years my husband and I,became friends. We always visit when we are in each others area. He’s the most kindest generous person who continues to work for the greater good in his community. She gives hand made items constantly to the local op shop and the local food bank benefits weekly from his garden. I’d never have had this experience if I’d lost my temper and walked away at the time. We are all here fo4 such a short time. I don’t give my mind space to fill it with nasty thought. Have a great Christmas you too, welcome home.
This ❤ also you never know what someone’s going through, maybe they’ve had a rough day, week or year you just never know, it’s better not to take things personally and instead ask if they need a hand or if they’re ok.
Well, I am very happy to see you back, sounds like I will be joining Patreon ❤, pretty sure there are lots of interesting people over there, as well. You both need to take some time and catch your breath x

Oh my gosh you guys had me laughing so hard-JUST like my late hubby and me. Brian says the same stuff my hubby would have said. 😂 ah I needed that. I heard back from the nurse recruitment in NZ (I was honest about being 58, and my past medical history) and it looks like the only way I could come over is a 5 year work visa…so I will probably keep working here until I retire and wait til I’m 66 to come over. I’m gutted. But, everything happens for a reason, they say. In the meantime I will sign up for your patreon and keep listening/watching to your content Liz and Bri-big huge hugs to you both from San Francisco!!!❤

Can I say something regarding self serve checkouts , I personally don’t use them , the reason being I believe the monopoly of supermarket chains are not only price gouging the consumers but also the grower / produce suppliers. So I silently protest by not using self serving checkouts I queue up at the manned checkout because if it wasn’t for customers like me that checkout operator would not have a job

What do you two think about the societal divide being caused by the current situation?
A rather vague nonspecific question. Israel-Gaza? Ukraine-Russia? China-US? EU-UK? North Island-South Island? Scrunch or fold? Which one?
