"Start small, then if we like it ,I can go big." That's how I like to do new canning recipes. I've never had Butter Chicken so a small batch is perfect. Thank you and everyone for all the wonderful recipes . Canuary, the perfect way to start out the New Year.
One of the things I so love about Canuary is that this collaboration gives us such a variety of foods to preserve. Thanks to all of you who have put so much effort into this project.
I married a British man and have learned to love curry! This sounds a great recipe to have on the shelf! Canuary is always so fun to watch! I don’t think it affects the flavor much if you used ground coriander but after living in the UK I learned that what most of the world call Coriander Leaves in the US we call Cilantro! Ground coriander (us coriander) is made from the seeds, leaves are just that dried leaves! Rarely do you find pork in Indian cuisine. chicken, goat, lamb and seafood most common.
I was drooling the whole video! Omgosh I have never had butter chicken! This would be awesome to have in a pantry! Thank you for this and the information for the recipe. I loved that you showed that the recipe was short and that you corrected it during video for newbies to know how to fix. This collaboration that Leisa from Sutton Daze puts together and her gifts - wow! ❤🎉😮😊 - and her getting Forjars on board to sponsor too! You all are awesome!!!
My son-in-law, Kevin, served a mission for the LDS church in Bangalaru, India. He introduced my husband and me to a number of Indian favorites we found we can't live without. Three years ago I developed my own canned Chicken Tikka Masala recipe because the store sauces (or eating out) are so expensive. I love having everything in one jar and serving it over rice. One quart serves us both. Over the years I've done thid with many restaurant favorites, so we don't have to live without the expensive foods we love. Can't wait to try this Butter Chicken recipe! Thank you!
Never, in my 57 yrs, have I eaten Indian food. I will definitely try this, my son and son-in-law will like it for sure. Thanks for this recipe and the site you got it from!! 👍🏼😊
Thanks for the introduction to using other cultures for canning. I have never thought of using them. Thank you Forjars and Lisa really have allowed for canners to widen my horizons
Loving Canuary and seeing what a variety of foods can be preserved. I've also found so many new people to follow. Thank you all for collaborating this huge endeavor.
Canuary is just what I need, it is relaxing and enjoyable to watch all the creations. Thank you everyone for your hard work . Reading the comments are very enlightening, much better than watching the weather report for North Michigan, Snow and Snow and more Snow. Bonus, there are so many great prizes.
Nice save on the yield shortages. It's fun to try new recipes and this is nothing I have seen before . Would like to see a review once you try a jar. Thanks for the colaboration and Forjars.
Thanks Lisa at Sutton Daze and For Jars for sponsoring this collaboration and for the chance to win such great prizes!! Thank you Pike Creek Farm for this recipe.
These look delicious!. I love your "Start small, then if we like it ,I can go big." That sums up What I wished I had done for so many recipes, for dinner or for canning! I also learned that curry powder is a mixture of other powders and that coriander leaves = cilantro. I still don't know how this recipe got the name "Butter Chicken" but nevertheless Canuary is sill bringing learning, entertainment and so much satisfaction into my life!! Renee, I thank you and Leisa at Suttons Daze, all of the Canuary contributors, and plenty of those who make comments as well. God bless you all!!
