This company Aferiy reached out to us asking us to post an honest review... so we did! There were a few things we did genuinely like, but we couldn't get over a few of the things we didn't, which proved again that you often get what you pay for.

The naming is correct its stands for Appliance Fryer on that limiting output. Great review on a not so great product.

If you guys are looking for good, budget power stations. Why haven't you reviewed Pecron products yet???

  • @jabbajawz

I have the Oukitel P2001. This thing has A LOT of similar parts and specs. I am fairly sure they just took the "spare parts" from Oukitel and made their own power station. And they just took the zeros out of the name and called it a P21.

Neither Oukitel nor Afiery are the actual manufacturers of their Power stations. They are both "white label" products with the same internals, the same OEM manufacturer, and slightly different external designs. The same powerstation also comes as Fossibot F2400 with a slightly different design and features at an even better price.

You are looking for inexpensive power stations, but I don't see any reviews of Pecron systems on your channel. They seem to be well regarded and recognized as a good budget option. Any reason why you are passing them over? Many of the inexpensive options from recent videos are actually more expensive than equivalent Pecron units. I have a Bluetti AC200L, Pecron E1500LFP and a small Anker Solix 522. I have to say that I like all three. The Pecron is a great value. I got mine for under $700.

Uh Oh ? I just purchased one before I saw your video, which is a great review. The issue I have is the voltage drop under load. My electric device is going to draw 800 watts. It's operating range is listed at 100 volts to 240 volts. It's the low end range that now concerns me. We shall see?

I totally disagree about the voltage limiting feature (because it is a feature, not a problem). You can say that it should be a user-selectable feature but dismissing it altogether means you don't understand its usefulness.
It may not be essential on a 2400W power station, but on lower power units, the lack of such a feature will be a deal breaker for me and for many other users. I prefer a 1000W power station that lowers its voltage to handle 1200 or 1500Ws of resistive or inductive loads so that I don't have to buy a 1500W unit to run my coffee machine or my girlfriend's hair dryer instead of a 1000W unit that can't do that. But I understand that it should be user-selectable so you don't risk powering sensitive equipment with lower voltage and your choice to run on lower voltage is deliberate.
Ecoflow and Bluetti were the first ones that had this feature if I am not mistaken and the only difference is how they call it, and the fact that it is user-selectable.
Also, if you want to test for surge power you better run the test with something with a high surge power, such as a compressor, or a large professional power tool.

if they repaired the voltage drop and updated it so it can accept more then 500 watts solzr input, then for $999, I think its a solid deal.

There is actually a difference between a 12-volt car outlet and a cigarette lighter outlet.... A 12-volt car outlet is smooth without any spring clips built into the sidewalls but the cigarette lighter outlet will have spring clips built into the sidewalls so that it actually holds your push in cigarette lighter so that when your cigarette lighter pops out when it's fully heated it doesn't shoot itself out of the outlet... And from what I can tell on your video that is actually a 12-volt car outlet not a cigarette lighter outlet... Regardless of the logo that lights up on the screen 😂

Wrong... Delta 2 and Extra Battery with hobotech code = $767 or you can pay a little extra and go with (2)Delta 2's for $822 . If one goes wrong you have another.(2050wh Battery)

I'm thinking of building one of those handtruck battery banks, with an EG4 48v 5120watt battery and EG4 3000watt inverter. Curious what you'd use in 2H-2024 for a similar build.

I thought it was a Bluetti till I saw it was an air fryer. With the prime deals at the Jungle site this week. The 2 big ones that are same size as around $500 USD. Ecoflow and Bluetti. Hopefully the Bluetti I bought is a decent unit.

Check out the 70mai Terra 1000. Super high quality. 1043wh with 1200w output. Bought one, loved it so much that I bought another. Amazon is sold out right now but I bought my last one for $349!! Too many features to list. Hobotech did a great TH-cam review on it.

Thats actually a damnn good price but I still would of gone with the Delta 2 for $411 with Hobo tech code. 500W solar input vs 200w, 5 year warranty vs 1 Year , 1800w output vs 1200w, and better customer support/known brand. Still a steal tho! They also had delta 2 and the battery for $767 w/code. Best time to buy solar is now

When you tell people to look these things up, it is hard to find the videos because they don't know the names of them all.

So when will you guys test a real low frequency portable solar generator, and not these high frequency crap, I realise they cost more, and they probably wont just give you one like ecoflow, but real power isnt cheep, but its not dangerous crap either, show people the real difference. Show how it can surpass its rated power, not drop voltage, almost tripple its surge power, and keep doing it day after day, 50v max input for solar is straight junk, 150v and up is good, solar charging, wall charging and car charging all at the same time while powering loads, thats a unit. Show these folks what real decent power is
