It was creative project . but those who like to make this project , need to know that 0.2 mm wire can not give 2 Amper current ( it is mentioned that this project can give 100 W power , 50 Volts . so it has to provide 2 Amps current that at least needs 0.85 mm wire ) . Also the power could be doubled if project had 4 bobins every 4 sides. using ferrosilicon core for bobins will increase the efficiency .

Your magnetic circuit is messed up. Motors have steel structure as they carry the flux from rotor and back to rotor, closing circuit. Your flux cannot pass through blue plastic, which holds copper stator coils. At the max 10W, if lucky.

Such DIY videos are only useful is you can create stuff using very basic and common tools that everyone already has or can easily obtain. Not everyone has a factory in the garage. This video is a bit pointless.
He could have used improvised devices. Rather than lathe, even the drill is over kill. Used better device to measure rpm, current and frequency and resistance you have instead of that big fat lathe.
