Like you, can't wait to see them in January too. Yes this, song was a total surprise but I love it, very much. The other song they put out Barren Cloth Mother is very much (to me) like they dug into the core of earlier Avatar and pulled out something excellent from its depths, whereas this is a total new direction. And this is one of the many reasons I love Avatar, always so creative, nit afraid of going on what ever direction they damn well feel like and I love them for that. That and their shear talent, lyrical content.... Oh I could go on..... Great guys too.
I think they’ll be at knotfest very soon then they’ll be seen everywhere. Only reason I think they weren’t there this year is because this tour was intended prior to the pandemic
I'm hoping to go see them in January too! I saw them years ago in Sheffield and was by far the best gig I've ever been too, even bands like Machine Head which was a much bigger gig

I feel a good deal of this song was heavily influenced by queen and I think that's why held off on screams for this song. Really great song though!
