I got to meet Chris the bassist. He is from the same town I’m from and when he came back for this past thanksgiving he came to our wrestling show. I’m training at OVW Academy and he came so I got a picture and got to talk to him
I certainly can relate to those lyrics. Guess it’s better on the outside looking in, at least mentally rather than physically. Just sitting here waiting for the crazy train to derail itself 🤘😀

Happy to see you ❤ I love the massage you have for the world I myself never suffered from depression even though I've lost almost all my family and was diagnosed with MS but my aunt struggles with this monster for decades and I'm afraid lately she's losing the battle. Keep it up and never surrender 👍
Check in often with her, let her know frequently how much you care and that you are there to listen. 💖 She's always welcome here in the community as well.
@@MentalAmanda I try to talk to her as often as I can but the distance is an issue and lately she doesn't answer the phone and she completely shut down all her social media accounts, my problem is with her husband my uncle who simply doesn't believe depression and anxiety can be so debilitating.
Is he open to being educated?

The comment about how empaths are particularly affected hit me hard. I dont know if I am a empath. I want everyone to be safe and happy regardless of anything else even people I don't know. It makes feel different than everyone else because I only care about is this hurting someone else and not based on tribes. Feel like I'm a different species at times. Feel like society forces us to choose a side and it causes anxiety when we dont.
Coming Down has such a strong message, its one of my favorite 5fdp songs
As a guy who has fought other people and a corrupt school system through my entire childhood. Seeing society now makes me want to have no part in it. I fought enough already.

I think you'll like the song Holding the Embers by We Came As Romans as someone who struggles daily with depression and anxiety and other forms of mental illness this song hits all too close to home for me

I really love Five Finger Death Punch. Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts on this video. I had mentioned this once before is the lead singer, Ivan Moody, is a former Marine. He has seen a lot of combat and he has his issues. But this is where he comes up with his songs. He has been through where the system has failed, not only the military but society itself. He has struggled with his own demons and at one point he had taken a break to get his life back in order. I'm glad he did and the band members were patient with him. ❤you Amanda and keep it coming.

theres a band called icon for hire, they have a song called supposed to be. i identified with that quite a bit, still do to be honest. getting better bit by bit though

They are one of my favorite metal bands.
You should react to "A Little Bit Off" by Five Finger Death Punch. They wrote it during the shutdown in 2020 and it actually shows the streets of Las Vegas empty! It's a really short song but relatable to pretty much everyone during that awful time.
I know you do very emotional songs regarding your experience with suicide so if I may, I highly suggest Collective Soul "World I Know". The song is incredible and the video is extremely emotional. Bring your tissue box.
I would really live your reaction to Ozzy Osborne Under the Graveyard. It's about his actual addiction and his wife's point of view. Must see the video version.
I have watched several reactions and I wanted to suggest to you a newer band that is white hot now called the warning. They really bring great songs that while dark, also sending a message of empowerment to move on and overcome. Something to share with your viewers as well. You won't be disappointed. Their songs helped me in difficult periods of my life, when I wanted to die, pulled me out of depression. Ivan was also on the verge of death, even dedicated an entire album to it. An awesome group, they write slightly monotonous but interesting material. I can listen to them endlessly.

This song has been on rotation on my Playlist as well as with some other FFDP songs and I can resonate with what you were talking about in this reaction as it relates to society, government and all the hypocrisy surrounding all these things and f*ck the media. But enough about that, FFDP is a great band and the fact that they support the troops speaks volumes about them.
