What an epic adventure! Thanks for filming, editing, and sharing! It's on my bucket list so I can complete the Samurai Cross!!! Some of the sections brought back memories and smiles from some of Karlos derived bikepacking adventures! Cheers, Bourbon!
Spectacular video. Stunning views. I live in Florida myself. I do a lot of trail riding/touring and take photos with my phone. They come out decent, but I always say pictures just don't do justice to the beauty that I am seeing. You have to actually be there. On the other hand, your presentation is the best quality that I've seen. Thanks for sharing.
What a great adventure it is! Your bikepacking adv.enture on the Eastern Divide Trail/the Florida Divide looks awesome. Warm greetings from the Special Territory of Yogyakarta, Indonesia
Thanks for showing off this amazing bikepacking trip. I have spent a lot of time in the Florida Keys. I haven't been back in almost 15 years. I really enjoyed visiting my grandparents, in Key Largo. Doing this trip would bring a lot of closure for me , as my step grandpa passed away in 2017.
Congratulations, what a superb video.Great photography gives a really vivid experience;I felt as though I was riding with you. So enjoyable, Thank you very much.
Thanks much. Yes, it does add quite a bit of time filming but always worth it. The challenges are what make the experiences so epic sometimes. Happy trails.
A million thanks for your great great efforts!! 🫡🙏🏼❤️❤️ what a perfect experience we went through here because of you 🙏🏼. Keep it coming, what a legend! Salute! 🫡 Greetings from the Middle East.
Fantastic production, thoroughly enjoyed it. We don't do off-road trails, but have ridden from Orlando to Key West, also have ridden from St. Augustine, Florida to San Diego, California 3 times using the Southern Tier route......
Thanks! Sounds like you have done a bunch of fun bicycle touring adventures, congrats. Riding a bicycle is such a good way to see our beautiful country!
This is the best video you guys have ever made. That's saying a lot because there never has been a bad one. I just hiked 150 miles of the Florida Trail, including the swamp section of Big Cypress. I used those water cashes and pitcher pumps. I hope to make a ride with you guys someday.
I did the entire gulf before heading to the Atlantic side in 2021 then last year left the Atlantic, went midway through Florida back to the Gulf up to the top of Florida into Gulf shore last year.
Great Video!! Well done....looks like an epic Bike Trip :) - Hey, I'm interested to know what that Orange Shirt is that you're wearing while cycling? I'm trying to move away from traditional, tight Lycra cycling tops and something a bit more relaxed and suitable for warm weather. Would you be kind enough to share the brand name please? Thank you.
How long did the Florida section take? How wide are your tires? Thinking about doing the East Coast Greenway through Florida next month but this looks much better. Great video thank you so much!
It took us 16 days to ride 1,200 miles. Since this is mainly an off-road route it's significantly harder than just taking the East Coast Greenway. There is a shorter more direct Florida Divide that starts in Fargo Georgia, that one is 925 miles. It's way more enjoyable to do the Florida Divide on a bike that can accommodate at least a 2.2" wide tire. People have done it on gravel bikes but can be less enjoyable at times.
When you purchase the route from www.singletracksamurai.com/ Karlos will send you the locked gate combo's he has. It's been awhile and from what I remember the only code he has is for Buckman Lock.
Thanks. Yes...Florida is way more diverse with ecosystems than anyone thinks. It's cool watching the change from starting in North Florida and ending in the Keys.
Yiu can ride in tallahasee for maybe 20miles then your on concrete in "heavy traffic" cross 98 to perry or tall hwy27 to perry & another 10p plus miles of traffic no dirt yo ocala national forest & thats only 42miles back to sidewalks and heavy traffic to okeechobee then 10miles trails & back to heavy traffic to the end. Dont pay anybody for this map, these ppl are playing you folks
I am not playing anyone here. There are multiple ways to get to the Keys and sure anyone can get an auto-generated route from Google Maps, Komoot, Strava or RideWithGPS. Good luck with that, it will get you there, but will never be as good as a custom designed route by a person who has the local knowledge. It takes a long time to develop a good route and I don't see anything wrong with suggesting that people support the ones that take the time to develop these amazing routes.
@@PedalPowerAdventures Great video, it took a lot of work, along with the tough off-road miles. I rode the ACA Southern Tier Route across Florida. Q: What do you guys think about Florida drivers on the paved sections? Thanks!
@@Mike-vd2qt The paved road sections on the Florida Divide route are not bad with respect to cars. It does get busier south of Christmas Florida. Seems like the best road riding with respect to cars is north Florida then the more south you go the more cars. Florida does have a really good paved bicycle path network. We have ridden almost all of www.singletracksamurai.com/ routes and they are all awesome. Happy Trails!

Thanks Bourdon. It's an excellent route!
I so appreciate the 8.7 lbs of camera gear! The camera work. The drone shots. The editing. The music. 🔥🔥🔥

Excellent video, thanks for taking the time to share it with all of us.
Your welcome, thanks for taking the time to watch! Happy Trails.
Great video. Congratulations on the shallow water north of highway 5 south of Christmas. When I did it in 2021 it was waist deep.
AMAZING VIDEO .....
Love it..
I lived in Florida when I was young and this is a completely new side of it for me, thank you for showing it!
My guess is a lot of people are thinking the same as you. I know we were when riding it. Thanks for watching and Happy Trails!!
Wow my friend !!! You guys are awesome !!! Always love your videos , thank you

What a great adventure. You make it look so effortless, both cycling and photography, but I'm sure it was a heck of a challenge in places.👍🔥🚲🐊

42:54 I love the way they do a little jump before they take off.
Us too, we saw way more Black Vultures than any other bird species on this adventure.

Great video as always.
However Lake Ocachobee is #9 or 10 on size of fresh water lakes in the USA. The top 5 are the Great Lakes🙂
I stand corrected in that Lake Ocachobe is #3 if "that is surrounded on all sides by USA soil" is added.😉
Thanks for the info! Happy trails

Why Cycles S7. Why Cycles is now Revel Bikes and they no longer make the S7. Closest bike to the S7 is now the El Jefe.

Wow! This may be your best video yet. Thanks for sharing and carrying the camera equipment rather than a comfy camping chair...lol.
Thanks, it was a fun one to film which I think helps! I won’t be trading in the camera gear for a chair anytime soon, haha.
