Chanri mountain's Buddha remains, Rustam District Mardan KP, Pakistan.

This video describe about the Buddha remains in Tehsil Rustam District Mardan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. These remains situated in Chanri mountain some 4KM away from Rustam on main Bunir road. Beautiful Sukhabi (Surkaway) village is located at the foot of this mountain.
According to the research of Khalid Muhammad (Dr sb) this site is basically a Kushan dynasty site. Beside other coins some 150 gold coins of Kanishka discovered here. A lot of other coins, jewelry and other antiques of Huvishka, Vasudeva, later Kushans and Sasanians are also discovered. Kushans ruled for hundreds years here and dissolved in 375 AD. Other civilizations coins also discovered here specially Taimur Shah, he was a Duranian king.
This Site is very important archeological site but unfortunately not included in archeological sites of Pakistan. Visit these remains anytime because this is a beautiful archeological site and explore the positive image of Pakistan.
