HEC should take care of foreign students in Pakistan. Allocate some budget for African students as they give scholarships to Sri Lankan Students. Pakistani embassies in African Countries should finance students for their study in Pakistan.

Bhai I am from IIUI as well. I often talk to many foreigners. And I think not only English is issue but accent is also. Because we are not too exposed to African accent as well which creates a communication barrier. But believe me Pakistanis have no problem with foreigners or Africans instead we actually like them .

I have a suggestion: consider creating a TH-cam channel in your native language. This would help your people learn and come to Pakistan for study. While your content in Urdu and English reaches a wide audience, it's important to share the knowledge you've gained here in Pakistan with your own community.
Creating a course that teaches Urdu in your native language would be incredibly valuable. It would help your people learn how to communicate effectively. I've had many classmates from your country, and they have become lifelong friends.

Assalamualaikum brother! Believe me, you speak Urdu so well, even better than I can as a Pakistani 😅. I appreciate your efforts and the important points you’ve raised. The language of teaching by teachers is crucial, especially when there are foreign students. Additionally, the study-work culture indeed isn't yet established as it is in other countries. On one side Universities are not very flexible because they focus solely on academics, leaving students with little time for part-time work. Moreover, many students think they will start working only after completing their degree. This mindset, combined with the current financial situation in the country, makes it challenging to establish a study-work culture.

My friend went back to Somalia two weeks ago. He did MS from Lahore, but tell you what, wherever he went, most of the hospitals and clinics charged him heavily for internships. 😢😢😢, I offered him to come to Peshawar for free internships. We spent 7 years together, I really miss him. And I ask all Punjabis (Specially Lahoris) to please help these African people. They come here once in their life, don't charge them for little things.

I'm from IIUI and I've seen many somalians and Nigerians. I've talked to them as well and they are very nice, polite and very confident as well. Other foreign students from Thailand and china are also bery welcoming and always ready to communicate.

Mashallah brother doing well, try African restaurants like online delivery, I am sure there would be lots of people to try African exotic food influenced by different cultures, even the same dish can be more interesting.

Very true, we need more exposure. In education by talking about cultures. In life by travelling and working even as students doing semesters in other countries.
Pakistani live in a self righteous box, we need to open our eyes.

As you kow the problem is usually first year (language issues). People like you and other students (or maybe a national student body) can make some extra support for these students by giving them summaries of lecturers in English (or even Arabic) in their first year. An Urdu speaking course can also be designed for them during their first year. Books and Exams are mostly in English anyway!

Its sad to see that you guys came across some teachers and students struggling with English. Our medium of instruction in generally English, official language is also English. This shouldn't actually be the case and people should do something about it... and part of it is of course, not exposed unfortunately.
But all the ❤ to you guys who came to study here.
I studied myself in UET Peshawar and had many foreigner friends from different countries like Somalia, Palestine, Jordan etc. Then for Masters I myself came to Germany as a foreigner student. Yeah its different yet interesting to be in another country. All the best to you. May ALLAH bless us all and keep love & kindness between us. Ameen.
