HEC should take care of foreign students in Pakistan. Allocate some budget for African students as they give scholarships to Sri Lankan Students. Pakistani embassies in African Countries should finance students for their study in Pakistan.

This is The Punjab University 's owner and you know what it is the first university to be established in subcontinent Muslim majority population around 200 years old ... That's why Punjab university is also called the Oxford and Harvard university of Pakistan... And also many schools, colleges and hospitals in lahore are around 200 years old ... On this Hajj My husband n I had the pleasure to meet different people and we found Nigerians very humble n focussed .
On the day of Arafah , some Nigerian just came suddenly and started Asr prayer on my husband's prayer mat , my husband wanted Jammat too n so they did Jammat .
A Nigerian woman hosted me through her ginger tea . It was awesome . MashaAllah !!
Overall , we Muslims are unfortunately away from Seerahtun Nabi s.a.w , if we all act accordingly we will become Highly sophisticated, clean and decent ... insha'Allah.

Bhai I am from IIUI as well. I often talk to many foreigners. And I think not only English is issue but accent is also. Because we are not too exposed to African accent as well which creates a communication barrier. But believe me Pakistanis have no problem with foreigners or Africans instead we actually like them .

I agree with you. I'm Pakistani and I've seen it happen. Also agree that it's the lack of exposure.
That being said, a lot of the staring is due to someone being different. So not just for black people, people will stare if it's a white, black, Chinese, Arab or from wherever. Because it's a closed society

I have a suggestion: consider creating a TH-cam channel in your native language. This would help your people learn and come to Pakistan for study. While your content in Urdu and English reaches a wide audience, it's important to share the knowledge you've gained here in Pakistan with your own community.
Creating a course that teaches Urdu in your native language would be incredibly valuable. It would help your people learn how to communicate effectively. I've had many classmates from your country, and they have become lifelong friends.

You can apply to LUMS and IBA and you won't face the language barrier at all. But both of these universities are expensive as compared to other universities.

Yea language barrier is a real thing, we had a Somalian uni fellow but she couldn't stay longer because she didn't know Urdu or English well and here people didn't know Somalian so it was a tough time for her in uni and hostel! May Allah bless her wherever she is now!

Assalamualaikum brother! Believe me, you speak Urdu so well, even better than I can as a Pakistani 😅. I appreciate your efforts and the important points you’ve raised. The language of teaching by teachers is crucial, especially when there are foreign students. Additionally, the study-work culture indeed isn't yet established as it is in other countries. On one side Universities are not very flexible because they focus solely on academics, leaving students with little time for part-time work. Moreover, many students think they will start working only after completing their degree. This mindset, combined with the current financial situation in the country, makes it challenging to establish a study-work culture.

I'm from IIUI and I've seen many somalians and Nigerians. I've talked to them as well and they are very nice, polite and very confident as well. Other foreign students from Thailand and china are also bery welcoming and always ready to communicate.

During the 70's a lot of pakistani teachers went to nigeria and what i came to learn was that the curriculum there was way ahead of ours.

Pakistan offers a unique and enriching experience for foreign students with its diverse cultural heritage, affordable education, and hospitable environment. Renowned institutions like Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) and Aga Khan University provide quality education and research opportunities. The country's vibrant communities and scenic landscapes add to the overall appeal, making it a fascinating destination for academic pursuits and personal growth.

And since I now need to learn German I feel your pain of learning Urdu 😂

Mashallah brother doing well, try African restaurants like online delivery, I am sure there would be lots of people to try African exotic food influenced by different cultures, even the same dish can be more interesting.
