It's great to see such nice developments in different parts of Ghana. I have been to Aburi before, that is about 50 years ago to visit my elder sister at the Aburi Girls Secondary School. I was then too young to take note of the then small town. What I have just seen in this video appeals very much to me. Great. I live in the Netherlands. If I could afford it, Aburi may be my location!

Great Documentary. Please do a couple more Documentary of Aburi and the many Enclaves and Sub-Divisions of High end Houses and Gated Communities. Start with the Kitase and the LansDown Resort and Ashesi University community etc. Do a comprehensive documentary on Deforestation and the cutting down of trees plus walls around houses that causes erosion. The importance of the construction of the Kitase Berekuso Road is a Documentary which you need to uncover.
Save Aburi by educating people to plant trees and curb climate change in Aburi. Stop construction of walls and use plant hedges to address erosion and rockfalls.

They are destroying the vegetation on the hills side , building without any building code . What do you think is the major cause of flooding in the santoe , Madina , Ashiaman , Motorway encatchment . IT IS THE DESTRUCTION OF VEGETATION ON THE ABURI RIDGE , BUILDING AND CEMENTING OR TILING THE COMPOUND . I don't blame you , but the Ghanaian authorities . Even a major land slide ,will not trigger a change in their mental faculty . I have the privilege of living in both Ghana and First world . The difference with the first world is ,apart from the building ,parking space and road , everything else is green . They building preserving land forms , contours and also water bodies . I live in a housing complex ,where the backyard is sloped , it is green(covered with grass) when it rains the base of the slope is soggy for about 3 days , all other areas are dry , it is the same for all other houses on that lane , few meters the water run off into a big pond . A mile away this pond when it overruns it's boundaries ,run into a river. I sometimes wonder where our land planners had their education from , apart from the Tema that was ,well planned , I have heard in the media ,that the current crop of foolish planners in tema are selling land banks and greens between the various communities . It looks like , Ghana will need a president in the future , to hold accountable all corrupt land planners .

My brother, I cannot be as elaborate on the issues as you raised but have to say that the governments of Ghana from frititi lack land management. Bribery and corruption is their mainstay therefore they are limited in governance. To them, it's like ensuring you get ting, fufu, and ampesie for your immediate family is more important than welfare of the environment and Ghanaians. At the end of the day our leaders, who have been given the opportunity lay proper infrastructure to stem the dangerous geological disaster that could be imminent on that hill is not important. To those on those nice buildings in the hills, I pray for them.

Please don’t sell land to make money and destroy the forest.please advise your buyers and sellers to save the forest, plant trees and grow green grass instead of building walls which causes erosion and flooding. Folks use plant hedges for fencing. Plant green grass instead of concrete driveways and compound. Plant several fruit trees and willow trees. Let’s stop climate change in Aburi. Ask for assess instead of standing on a road side and taking video shots. Learn from the Nigerians who come to Ghana to do videos. They get real assess of where they want to do the videos.
I told one local youtuber yesterday and he admitted it and promised to work on it .
