Amazing.. the smooth movements you use, do we need any special control settings? FA Off, and something else? side or vertical trusters? or just with pedal? THX crack
no you dont need any special controls really, I use a HOTAS (VKB NXT stick and TCWS throttle) but keyboard and mouse also work, though because mouse has only 2 axis you cant get as smooth a motion with it, not to mention that little mouse motion widget thing in the middle of the screen all the time if you use mouse :D though more accurate aiming i'm told.
one of the top AX pilots CMDR EuanAB even uses an Xbox controller - it's all about practicing with FA OFF (and it does take a lot of practice, dont worry, everyone is bad at it to begin with but you will improve ). And thank you for watching ;)

I was actually considering a FGS but decided against it because of the boost speed. I was thinking the exact weapon setup that you used here, with that class 7 distributor you can spam gauss pretty frequently.
yes the distro on the FGS is really nice - the speed and maneuvering are definately weaknesses but they can be worked with so long as your orbit maneuvering is good :)
I went with a challenger. I Really wanted 3 medium gauss with good convergence. Size 6 distributor but is an improvement for handling and speed
Have you ever tried a cool orbit build with a low emissions power plant? I wonder if it would even be possible with gauss cannon energy requirements
yes, i used one on the Corvette in my review :) it can be useful for gaining a little extra leway with gauss cannons but usually costs too much power overall to do it
Impressive, ty for sharing.
The Gunship's pitch is almost nonexistent, but it yaws very well if you can flip the fight 90 degrees and use yaw rather than pitch as much as possible.
