How do you manege water level ! In summer with water loss...

Turn on the faucet and put more water into the pond.

Sorry for late response but it depends on the pond. A smaller pond or one that needs to be budget conscious certainly makes sense to install a skimmer. If it's affordable, intake bays are the better option, however, as long as they are installed by a Certified Aquascape Contractor.
