    I have been waited for the smaller phone since years then finally replaced my iPhone XS by 13 mini.
    Its best phone i had ever, 5.4" is still big enough screen to write emails, posts on socials and watching YT videos or gaming. No more larger phone ever if possible.
    It lays in pocket perfectly no matter you're in work or on sport activities like running or biking, and completely no issues with battery working time - one day of very active up to two days when i am not using phone a lot.

    I’m also rocking a iPhone 13 mini. It’s a solid choice. It’s form factor is it’s biggest plus, but also the great camera is perfect for family pictures. I recon nog all people rocking a pro model actually do professional photography, but anyway, let them burn money on features they don’t use anyway. Apple should bring back the mini but it will be a solid choice for the next years to come. A15 is een super soc!

    Last year, I went from the iPhone 7 to the XS, while my kids went from the X to the 13 Pro. I'm really not a fan of the weight of their phone.
    I'll probably stay with XS until Apple stops giving it the latest iOS, at which point I'm seriously considering swapping to a 13 Mini. It'll most likely be 2nd hand, but I really can't see Apple reintroducing a Mini - unless the next SE uses the discontinued size.
    Thanks for the vid!

    Small size is entirely why I chose the 13 mini when it came out because of the reasons you've described. And I've not been disappointed with the performance other than wishing for more camera optical capabilities - macro and telephoto. My battery is down to 93%, it's dropped a lot lately. I'm hoping Apple will come up with a close replacement this year, if not I might be learning how to change out the battery.

    The 13 mini is awesome. I love mine and the battery holds up for me throughout the day unless I’m using lots of maps navigation and Bluetooth car play. The mini series could keep evolving with more features and battery life if Apple would just keep it around. The 3nm a17 chip in an iPhone mini with a more efficient display and modem would probably add another 1-2 hours of battery life.

    i love my 13 Mini, but I am not an photography enthusiast. If I was, I would move back to Android and buy a Sony Xperia 1V. But...for a compact powerful everyday phone, I think you cannot beat the 13 Mini. It has everything I need in a small package. I actually think it's Apple best ever phone. My Wife has the 12 Mini and I liked it, but it was the 13 Mini that made me move to Apple from being an Android user.

    Just upgraded from the XS to a Product Red 13 Mini. I knew I was swapping my XS this year, as it’s about to lose the latest iOS, but its battery health (or lack of it) hastened the upgrade.
    Using a bumper and MagSafe grip - not a fan of full cases - and have already got myself quite a few MagSafe accessories. These include a portable charging stand that I can use on the go, and to trigger Standby Mode when I’m home.

    I went from a green 13 Pro BACK to the the 13 Mini. Decided this 13 mini was it for me. iPhones now adays are just not winning me over any more. Not really excited at all about the 15 series. Plus the 13 Mini being the least mini UNLESS Apple makes the SE in the Mini chassis which I highly doubt. But all that considered I got a green 13 Mini 512GB. I love it, i don’t miss really anything about my 13 Pro aside from battery life. The 13 Mini does not feel small any more unless I hold my wifes phone next to it. I game on my phone aggressively as I did on my 13 Pro, all in all I love it. No regrets.

It makes a huge difference since I use GPS and I am out away from chargers, and have a full day's battery. The 13 Mini is really an underrated gem. One of my family members has the blue model, and it’s amazingly ergonomic to use compared to my 12 Pro, which is almost too big for my smaller hands. Apple would be remiss in getting rid of these form factor. If anything, they should make it the basis for the next SE, like they did with the 5S and 8 chassis.

    • @cxssetteman182
      @cxssetteman182 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      They probably might in the future. But even that will fail, just for a different reason. The main appeal of the mini isn't just the compact size, it's the performance and hardware. Having about 95% of the stuff as regular iPhones in a compact size.
      SE is too basic. Not enough features, The body design itself is kinda crap too (reminds me of iPhone 6). It's a great bargain if you're a pauper, but there are better options in Android in that Price Range.

I can use it with one hand, place it in almost any pocket and go. The screen is beautiful and vibrant, so I don't have problems with its smaller size. I'm not a heavy photographer or make a lot of videos, so the battery life of the 13 mini is more than adequate. When I see iPhone 14 models out in the wild, they almost look like tablets to me. • @SwirlingDragonMist
    @SwirlingDragonMist ปีที่แล้ว +7

    I think the sales of this form factor are strongly influenced by the prestige of other models in the lineup. Allot of iphone shoppers shop on quality, they simply want the best. To date the mini products have been presented in a diminutive light relative to max and pro models. So I feel the market preferences for the form factor have not been given a fair assessment, as there is always some features compromises in the mini form factor that create the perception of it being the low end model.
    Smallness naturally comes with some compromises to battery size and life. But I think beyond battery life the mini form factor may actually outsell the larger form factors all else being equal. Perception and positioning being key in running such a consumer preferences test. It may even be that the prices would need to be the same to get a proper read on consumer preferences. In that pro and max monikers have the effect of being prestigious “giffen goods”, while mini is ever so slightly diminutive as a moniker.
    Small, medium, large aren’t very endearing titles, but pro and max are also kind of confusing as to which supersedes the other. Analysis paralysis is a real friction to purchasing decisions. Unifying all the features across all models, and then simply having sizes and battery life to consider may simplify and ease the customer into buying more readily. Then Apple would get clarity on size preferences, and have fewer frictions to purchase. So I think small medium large is the way to go.

    Brought my green iPhone 13 mini beauty last summer
    Had decided to go for the 14 Pro Max up until I read at the last moment before purchase that Apple was doing away with the mini phones. Have no regrets especially when I have very limited hand function due to health condition. Do plan to upgrade to 15 Pro Max but still planning for mini to continue as part of daily driver as secondary screen, music and podcast player. And it’s just so pretty to look at.

      Battery is not a problem for modern phone. Most days I don’t even charge my iPhone mini at night because charging is so fast nowadays.
      If it goes under 20% I charge it for 30 minutes and it’ll be at at around 60-70% and I will be fine until the end of the day.

    If Apple had kept the 5.8" screens for the 12, 13, and 14 Pro, it would be the perfect size phone. The Mini is great, but a Pro version just couldn't work given its smaller body! But it's an incredible phone nonetheless.

      And you seem to think that its screen size is the same size as the Apple Watch. This has nothing to do with your statement at all. I have owned an iPhone 12 mini for 3 years, and my use was not affected compared to the iPhone 11 before that. Then, the iPhone mini’s screen is 5.4 inches, and it is not small at all. It is sufficient and very clear, except for those who have poor eyesight. This is possible.
