Did the same. Bought a 14 Pro on the T-Mobile 24 month plan - even with getting monthly credits for 18 more months, I picked up a used excellent 13 Mini with 8 months warranty remaining. So much easier to handle, and it easily fits in your pocket.

@@racer2312 I’ve not been disappointed at all. To me the size of the 13 mini is well worth the trade off for the smaller battery. I hope Apple listens. Getting rid of the mini form factor makes no sense. Perhaps they should kill the Mac Mini and the iPad Mini as well? Are you listening Apple? Does this logic make sense to you?
I’m a former Android phone user and I have switched to iPhone in search for compact phones supporting 5G and my first iPhone is the 12 mini. After a year, I upgraded to 13 mini. The battery performance of the iPhone mini is not that bad and I never had issues with battery performance. In terms of features, the iPhone 12 mini and 13 mini are at par with their bigger siblings with the advantage of being lightweight as they are small. They are comfortable to use as well. I will most likely stick with my iPhone 13 mini for many years to come unless new iPhone mini would emerge or if the next iPhone SE will remain as compact as the current SE 3rd gen. I would always consider ergonomics apart from features and I didn’t go wrong with my iPhone 13 mini as there’s a balance between ergonomics and features.
This time last year, I upgraded from iPhone 7 to XS. Meanwhile, my kids went from iPhone X to the 13 Pro. I'm not a fan of the size or weight of their phone. I'm very happy with all the XS features, and made a conscious decision to get it rather than the year before's X - the XR was never in the running for me, due to its lower specification. Have to say, will probably stay with XS til Apple stop giving it the latest IOS. At that point, I'm definitely going to be looking at the 13 Mini, unless Apple's given us a newer Mini phone. Yes, I like all the "bells and whistles" on the Pro models, but I just don't want the weight/ bulk.
held on to my 7 until it slowly gave up but luckily at the same time the mini 13 was released. so happy! and i think we might see a mini again. maybe around 19. 20.
The iPhone 13 mini is really incredibly good. ❤️ I'm from the 11 pro and have doubted for a long time to make the switch. But it's a fantastic little iPhone! 👌 battery life and camera are surprisingly good and the size is fantastic. I really hope Apple releases another mini in the future.
Way cool review Alex. I just tried this for my iPhone 13 Pro Max I didn't think I need the 14 yet. Waiting for 15 or 16. I took advantage of a Prime offer so wokes for me. What was your eBay tips as to what things to look for in reputable refurbished?
I do the same now, pro series just waste the money and 14 pro some reason dosent make good photos like on the first day and I dont really like dynamic island on it, 13 mini the perfect size and weight for me.
I just dumped (July 2023) my 14 pro max for a 13 mini and haven’t looked back ever since…just got tired of carrying a 2 ton brick in my pocket with all the bells and whistles which more than half of the features i dont use or care for. Dont get me wrong who doesn’t like big displays and all the features but just not to carry around in my pocket daily. I use an watch ultra, an ipad air which i tuck away in my backpack in case i have to do something major on a big screen and those are plenty for my daily commutes. 13 mini gives me the portability and one handed easiness i need with all the power of the plus sizes. Even the Apple Magsafe accessories (wallet, battery pack) fit the mini so well they feel like they were made just for this model. iPhone 15 is weeks away and unless they come out with a mini size which rumor suggest they ain’t i’m not even considering getting the new model. I know eventually i will be pushed into a new model eventually but i’m keeping and using this 13 mini for as long as can.hopefully couple more years.
I also switched from the 14 pro to the 13 mini and it was the best decision ever. It is much lighter and I can use it with one hand. the main reason I went for the 14 pro was for the camera. but then I realized that it's still a smartphone camera with a small sensor. I got a point and shoot camera (Panasonic Lumix lx10) and it takes much better photos and I can take it anywhere. The iPhone 15s are out but im still gonna stick with my iPhone 13 mini :)
Is it just the weight that annoyed you or the screen reachability too? I’m debating whether to get the 13 mini, regular 13 or pull the trigger on a 15 pro when released.
@@amarachiugoji2459 idk I’m very indecisive and haven’t made up my mind lol. I’ll probably just get the regular 13 when the 15 comes out. Ideally I’d like the size of the iPhone X or 11 Pro.

Thank‘s for your true words👍🏻
Good question! I'm currently working on the video that will answer that. Be sure to subscribe so you can see that when it comes out. Thanks for watching!
I just bought an iPhone 13 mini and black 128 gigs. It should be here tomorrow. And I am ready for it. I have a 14+ phone that I’m currently using. But it’s so big to carry this pickle conquer around. I think I’ll go with a 13 mini phone and if I really want to stream video I’ll just get me an iPad and leave it at home for that purpose. But for every day use the 13 mini is fantastic And it’s gonna be around for a long time and probably one of the best phones that I’ve ever made at Apple. Just my thoughts. Can’t wait to receive my new phone.
i was on the fence between 13mini and 14 which i found at very close price points on amazon. i’ve never owned a big one and i was gravitating towards the mini. but three things made me get the 14: 1. i hate having to charge it during the day so every drop of battery is good. 2. i mostly watch video on my phone and for once i wanted to try a bigger screen. 3. i haven’t worn tight pants ever since i work from home. it’s coming from amazon in two days so… i guess we’ll see how it goes
i have a 13 mini now, and i dont know if i want to buy a new 13 mini or a 14 pro for double the price, i love the size, but i hate the specs. get a new phone with 60 hz display and a kinda bad camera etc etc in late 2023 ,thats give me so hard to decide, plz help haha
I'd love a replacement set of AirPods Pro2. What's a good used refurbished source for cost vs warranty? I use them too much everyday to to fiddle w/ used batteries or not knowing if clean.
Excellent video! Love that you said, the new features on 14 Pro would be life-changing and they were not. ❤️ I am using my 12 Mini. 😄 Where did you sell your iPhone 14 Pro?
@@AlexVassiosOfficial now, I think I will actually keep the 14 Pro as my back-up eSIM device since my 12 Mini has 88% battery health. And I have some nice cases for my 14 Pro (buying cases is my vice). 😂
I’ve had the mini since January last year.. and I def need a bigger battery.. it’s already at a 90% battery health.. however I love the size and portability. I will probably upgrade to either the iPhone 15 or the 14 plus.. heard the 14 plus has a big battery that last a day and a half 🙌🏾🙌🏾
Also made the switch to 13 Mini from a much bigger phone : iPhone 8 Plus. I can safely comment that I have not for a second regret the smaller format. Actually, the other Phones are the ones that look too big in my eyes now.. Only such a Size could offer This much portability and ease of use, too bad Apple didn´t recognise this. PRO TIP: the 13 mini hat a screen pixel density of 476ppi, the highest of any iPhone ever made 🤫

Awesome review. Amazingly honest. Guy I made the utterly dumbest mistake and traded in the 13 for S22ultra.... WTH? The problem at the time w/ the 13 was IOS 16. Enough said. But I miss how efficient and suave Iphone is. Android is about bells and whistles w/ the worst software. I gunna get the 13 mini. THX Bud!
Ngl I miss my 12 mini a lot. Got the 15 pro and it just feels eh, I always wondered what the word “pro” meant and just not feeling it. I’ll probably get the new SE for trade in
You don’t really notice the pro features too much. But going backwards you definitely notice them (120hz, third camera, etc). I would still use a 13 mini but discovered that the PWM made me nauseous when using it so I can’t anymore
I (too) have 13 mini in green. I had 11 Pro as my second iPhone ever, first one was 5s and it was not for me so I went to Android and Windows phones for many years. So, after 11 Pro I had 12 and I thought of getting 12 mini but it had bad rewievs so I waited the 13 mini and I got it in blue as soon as it came to market and switched to green one after this came out and I love to use this one. I will be using this phone as long as it gets updates unless Apple bring back this form factor. 10/10 device.
I’m so sad they aren’t going to renew the iPhone mini for the iPhone 15 lineup because the regular models will have the color hot pink as an option and that’s my absolute favorite color! I just want them to make a hot pink mini iPhone or a mini iPhone with a way better battery 🔋 I wonder if they’ll ever make a new version again and if they don’t I’ll be so sad
I had an Iphone SE 2016 from 2016-2022.Then 12 Mini.I will give it to my girlfriend ( she likes it too ) and buy a 13 Mini. But sadly no more little phones in 14,15,etc series. The better cameras on the PRO series are total useless if you playing back videos on the iphone screen. All the same quality.Cant notice difference. For an average user, the mini series are the perfect phones.

My first phone was iPhone 5s I had bought in 2015 i used it for couple of year’s, Then I had bought Samsung galaxy s7 I bought in 2017 which was good until it broke down and Samsung did not fix it they said this does not including the warranty yet I had warranty something went wrong with the Sim Tray got stuck I am never going back to Samsung again Samsung put me right off after that, Then I buy the iPhone SE first generation in 2018 I used all way up till December 2022, Then I decided to upgrade January 2023 to a bigger iPhone 13 pro not the Max the only reason I upgrade to high end iPhone was because everyone had latest iPhone’s where that was X,XS,XS MAX, 11, 11 PRO, 12, 12 PRO, 13,13 PRO, 14, 14 PRO, here’s me with small iPhone 😮😂 I did enjoy my little iPhone’s but overall iPhone 13 pro is way to go because I am coming from smaller iPhone, in my experience after coming from small screen to big full screen is big differences for me and I have say I am enjoying every bit of it, I can understand why people want to go back to smaller iPhone because it fits right in your hand or it fits even your pocket and it’s light weight or for different reasons, Before buying the iPhone 13 pro I was gone buy the mini iPhone or even the stranded one but I made right choice getting the PRO it’s got great cameras, battery, performance, and it’s got 120hz refresh rate and much more... and I AM VERY HAPPY 😊🎉
Having 13 mini downgrade is absolutely perfect to me, a relief !!!! But struggling to sell 14 pro max which could be a loos. 14 pro max is literally a torture device on my fingers, wrist joint and leg muscle while carrying.
Anyone who doesnt agree the mini is secretly the best, is a girl or a screen snob. If you ever have your phone in your pocket while doing actual work, the mini is your phone.

Well I hope it's fully supported until 2028 at least.
We'll see. I doubt it, but who knows.
had 13 mini 256gb ......only reason not to upgrade 14 .........cos there are no mini anymore !!!
Subbed! I do understand the need to change ergonomically. Been using a plus iPhone… planning to switch to a regular one.
Nice! A regular size will feel mini enough haha.
i switched from iphone x which has 1/4 of the screen unusable and cracked, i hv no complains.
Bro I want to switch back to 13 mini from my 14 Pro 😢
It's painful listening to americans say that "$1400 is a lot for a phone". Hello (in aussie accent) you got NO IDEA MATE!!!
Is optical zoom a big deal or is it hyped more than it's actually useful?
I find it super useful and use it almost every time I use my camera on my phone. To get clear zoom is just awesome.
Never used an iphone, Android for past 12 years. Thinking of the switch and if so, to 13 mini, just don't know....
Definitely worth giving it a try
Green 256 13 Mini could be the last phone I’ll ever buy. Sure it’ll die someday, but I hope that day is far away.
held on to my 7 until it slowly gave up but luckily at the same time the mini 13 was released. so happy! and i think we might see a mini again. maybe around 19. 20.
Keeping my 13 mini for as long as Apple supports it.
I love my 13 Mini, the 14 Plus I purchased is currently collecting lots of dust.
Shame on Apple for ending the Mini series.
Agreed. They just got it refined before axing it
@@AlexVassiosOfficialdo you think there’s a chance they’ll reintroduce it?
Great video 😊 you talk so much sense!!! Keep it up man 👍🙂
i could never give up the max size even though it is heavy at times it’s just a joy
I do the same now, pro series just waste the money and 14 pro some reason dosent make good photos like on the first day and I dont really like dynamic island on it, 13 mini the perfect size and weight for me.
Agreed
Yeah it’s definitely worth hanging onto. Sounds like the 13 Mini will be the last one. Unless they try the market again in a few years
I also switched from the 14 pro to the 13 mini and it was the best decision ever.
Yep! Exactly!
how many GB do you have? should I get 256GB or 128GB considering about the update software years come..
I have 256. Really depends on how you use it. But if you want to keep it for a long time, I’d recommend the 256.
@@AlexVassiosOfficial Thanks, I'll get 256 then..
Is it just the weight that annoyed you or the screen reachability too? I’m debating whether to get the 13 mini, regular 13 or pull the trigger on a 15 pro when released.
I am also thinking about it too, what do you suggest
@@amarachiugoji2459 idk I’m very indecisive and haven’t made up my mind lol. I’ll probably just get the regular 13 when the 15 comes out. Ideally I’d like the size of the iPhone X or 11 Pro.
Great choice 👍👍
The lack of Telephoto lens, Better Ultra wide Lens & Pro Motion is what makes me think of upgrading to pro from my iPhone 13
IMO the 13 Pro is probably the best all-around iPhone there is
@@AlexVassiosOfficial I agree but i dont have the Pro 😂 just lack of these 3 things makes me irritated and to move for the pro but then I realize I can get the iPad Mini for that price😂😂🤘🏻
Right. For me those extra features don’t outweigh the better form factor of the mini
Funny thing. Actually I’m waiting for my order. An iPhone 13 Mini and I’m downgrading from the iPhone 13 Pro Max because it‘s so heavy and it‘s exactly how you say, the mini is at the End of the Day a powerful Phone and you can do anything like on the Pro’s and Max Modells. Thank‘s for your true words👍🏻
I have the 14 pro and don’t use all thes features and miss my 12 mini so do I make the switch for a 13 mini?
I did and haven’t looked back. Ergonomics beats useless features
I have 14Plus and bought 12mini.but I love 12 mini very much than 14Plus
Are you still using the 13 Mini? I am flip-flopping on going back to the 13 Mini
Yes I am. Haven’t regretted it since switching
Is there a reason why you got one from Amazon instead of buying it new from Apple? At least in my region, the iPhone 13 mini is still being sold.
Good question! I'm currently working on the video that will answer that. Be sure to subscribe so you can see that when it comes out. Thanks for watching!
Mine did! New battery renewed from Amazon
12 is the last phone which had Active Noise Cancellation feature. Apple removed it since 13 so I would switch to 12.
Though a nice feature, I’d take the better battery and camera over ANC
i was on the fence between 13mini and 14 which i found at very close price points on amazon. i’ve never owned a big one and i was gravitating towards the mini. but three things made me get the 14:
1. i hate having to charge it during the day so every drop of battery is good.
2. i mostly watch video on my phone and for once i wanted to try a bigger screen.
3. i haven’t worn tight pants ever since i work from home.
it’s coming from amazon in two days so… i guess we’ll see how it goes
You will love the 13 mini.
@@Jelly_Tots i got the 14 and, although i like the mini better in my hands, i’m kinda digging the battery life and the big screen
Yeah those make sense to go for the 14. I actually ended up switching back to the 14 haha. A video I'm working on.
I can relate, went from a 13 pro max to the 13 mini and the form factor & weight outweigh everything the pros have to offer IMO.
Well said!
i have a 13 mini now, and i dont know if i want to buy a new 13 mini or a 14 pro for double the price, i love the size, but i hate the specs. get a new phone with 60 hz display and a kinda bad camera etc etc in late 2023 ,thats give me so hard to decide, plz help haha
We humans are so different, i even think the regular 14 pro is too small.
I'd love a replacement set of AirPods Pro2. What's a good used refurbished source for cost vs warranty? I use them too much everyday to to fiddle w/ used batteries or not knowing if clean.
Nahitaji hiyo 14pro naipataje?
Well said I have the 13 pro max alpine green I didn’t want the 14 pro max at all
Excellent video! Love that you said, the new features on 14 Pro would be life-changing and they were not. ❤️
I am using my 12 Mini. 😄
Where did you sell your iPhone 14 Pro?
Got it sold on Facebook Marketplace
@@AlexVassiosOfficial thank you! I was thinking about Swappa.
Never used Swappa. I guess it depends on how many people use it in your area if selling locally
@@AlexVassiosOfficial now, I think I will actually keep the 14 Pro as my back-up eSIM device since my 12 Mini has 88% battery health. And I have some nice cases for my 14 Pro (buying cases is my vice). 😂
Sure. A battery replacement from Apple is like $50 though after you hit about 83%
I’ve had the mini since January last year.. and I def need a bigger battery.. it’s already at a 90% battery health.. however I love the size and portability.
PRO TIP: the 13 mini hat a screen pixel density of 476ppi, the highest of any iPhone ever made 🤫
Yes! Apple made a huge mistake axing this phone. I hope they bring it back as an SE option in the future.
0:30 thank you for the no-sponsor decision. I use Premium because I can't stand waiting for information. A bit of a power user, I'll admit. So thank you, thank you, thank you!
Lol no problem. Can't promise that there won't always be sponsors, but I'll do my best to not make them suck.
The mini is amazing
Apple please listen to this and create mini pro!!!! The mini form factor is the best.
I went from 11 Pro to 12 Mini and now to 14 Pro.
I regret it every day since!!! (too big, too heavy…)
I will downgrade to the 13 mini asap.
My wish for Autumn 2023:
Phone mini 15 with the specs of IPhone 14 Pro.
THX Bud!
Thanks! I've been back and forth so many times. Yes, Android is mostly about gimmicks that suck. iPhone is basic, but it does basic REALLY well.
@@AlexVassiosOfficialwhat phone are you using now?
@@azzurrox iPhone 15 Pro
Iphone 13 mini white here😊
The iPhone 13 Mini is the best iPhone there is for average user like me.
I got the s23 6.1" it's awesome but I'm looking for a good deal on a 13 mini. This is the only phone that'll bring me back to ios
13 mini is yes the great phone to use, but for me, right now.the 13 pro is the best option xD!
Hello can't hear you can do it a bit louder, dude
turn your volume up, he sounds fine
Iphone 13 mini and an ipad mini 6 is the best combination ever!
13 pro, may downgrade to the SE!
The mini is the phone Steve Jobs would make. Possible without the notch tho.
Agreed!
I just did the same
I was with iPhone 14 pro purple from #ATT #AT&T but I moved with The Best IPhone 13 mini green with #Verizon 🎉❤ and I’m more than Happy ,! Jun. 2024 😂
13 mini, the perfect phone
My first phone was iPhone 5s I had bought in 2015 i used it for couple of year’s,
Then I had bought Samsung galaxy s7 I bought in 2017 which was good until it broke down and Samsung did not fix it they said this does not including the warranty yet I had warranty something went wrong with the Sim Tray got stuck I am never going back to Samsung again Samsung put me right off after that,
Then I buy the iPhone SE first generation in 2018 I used all way up till December 2022,
Then I decided to upgrade January 2023 to a bigger iPhone 13 pro not the Max the only reason I upgrade to high end iPhone was because everyone had latest iPhone’s where that was X,XS,XS MAX, 11, 11 PRO, 12, 12 PRO, 13,13 PRO, 14, 14 PRO, here’s me with small iPhone 😮😂 I did enjoy my little iPhone’s but overall iPhone 13 pro is way to go because I am coming from smaller iPhone,
in my experience after coming from small screen to big full screen is big differences for me and I have say I am enjoying every bit of it,
I can understand why people want to go back to smaller iPhone because it fits right in your hand or it fits even your pocket and it’s light weight or for different reasons,
Before buying the iPhone 13 pro I was gone buy the mini iPhone or even the stranded one but I made right choice getting the PRO it’s got great cameras, battery, performance, and it’s got 120hz refresh rate and much more... and I AM VERY HAPPY 😊🎉
I lost my 14 Plus and went for the 13 Mini. I have no regrets. It's easier to use and screen doesn't lag like the 14 Plus.
Having 13 mini downgrade is absolutely perfect to me, a relief !!!! But struggling to sell 14 pro max which could be a loos. 14 pro max is literally a torture device on my fingers, wrist joint and leg muscle while carrying.
I just hate how the 13 mini saves battery, it closes/freezes almost every app running in the background after like 1 min not using it...
Can i use your 14 pro bro hehe
Anyone who doesnt agree the mini is secretly the best, is a girl or a screen snob. If you ever have your phone in your pocket while doing actual work, the mini is your phone.
lol I don’t understand the comment either
I notice many girls say anything but the pro max or plus models are too small . While they barely can hold the damn phone with 2 hands 😂
I’m a girl and I love the mini series but I haven’t met anyone else regardless of gender who wants a mini iPhone irl. I hope they bring back the mini iPhone in the form of an SE or for the iPhone 17 line up because I’ve heard that it’s pretty much confirmed that for the 16 series there won’t be a mini model 😢 my thumbs are too short for one handed usage on a normal sized phone
