Such a great video/podcast! I'm a long-time fan of Steve's YT videos and I was lucky enough to find this podcast. Great questions and I agree with others that your style makes us feel like we are just sitting in the room with you. Great job!
@@JenRitchiePhotography We live in Northern Cal but were in Tetons NP last Fall as part of a long NP road trip. I was curious, since you've been there with Steve, what are some of his main roads he gets those great shots from? I'd like to see if we were on some of them! :)
So glad to find this! Very interesting & tons to think about as a backyard nature photographer! I’m a Canon lover, as well as Fuji… it’s nice to see he’s used Fuji as well. Will be subscribing!
Holy jumping grasshoppers batman!! That whole colour (I'm Canadian don't worry about spelling lol) and white balance blew my mind. I've been an enthusiast photographer since 1981. When the world went digital I just followed the recommendation of shoot auto and fix in post (if you shoot raw) . Going to change the setting right now!! Great interview with one of the premiere wildlife photographers. Thanks.
I do believe Steve was blushing just a tiny bit after that intro! I do highly recommend his workshop to any photographer at any experience level. His knowledge of the Jackson Hole area and photography in general will result in a great experience at the Grand Teton NP.
Recently discovered your channel Jen and am enjoying the conversation series. It's refreshing to watch like minded people having a discussion about their passion and craft.
I am normaly a follower from Steve. I like it when he is half sleeping and starting his videos. Know I saw him developing his secrets skills through the way you ask him his secrets. How he is fotographing and thinking
What a terrific podcast!! Jen you are a great host and it was nice to hear Steve go into some details that are helpful to newbies like me! Thank you both for doing this and I so hope to go out with Steve October of ‘25 to learn and maybe get a great picture or two!
I’ve followed Steve’s work for years and this made for another great episode of Wildlife Conversations. The flow of your podcast episodes make the viewer feel like they are in the room with the you and the guests just having a good chit chat. Great insights given from your guests and your personality is warm and inviting ❤
Love Steve's photos and tips! The guy who inspired me to get into vlogging. Thanks Jen and Steve for taking the time to share on another amazing episode! I need to order a couple of books and Christmas is coming up.

@ well, it just depends. When I’m there I just drive and hike and wait for what happens. I think he does the same.
