I have met Lasse two times, once in Stockholm during Snickeriet Street (he had an awesome talk there), and at Gothenburg Street Photo Festival this year. He is always very humble and a cool guy to talk to. I think he's one of the best street photographers in the nordic countries.
What an inspirational video, story &, of course, the man. It’s rare to learn that there’s a man who is talented, passionate & humble at his craft. Mr Persson I hope you continue to walk the streets & inspire others for many more years. ✌🏼& 📸
I'm 80! Always snapping images! I abandoned bigger cameras decades ago.Work with tiny digitals or phone! I was a pro, successful, and when I retired, still did my personal work. Unlike Lasse, I do stop and wait, if background intersting! I can't walk that much anyway! Bravo.
Thanks for the video. He shoot’s with a DSLR! I have to say that although DSLR’s are generally regarded as too big for street photography the results are substantially better than the typical small & discrete cameras one tends to use. I took out a Nikon D300 during Australian Tennis Open last January. There are always many international tourists and a festive air in Melbourne for the tennis & most Melbourne people are away on holidays. That DSLR was fantastic. The tourists were most obliging for candids and there was no static from people about taking a photo with them in it. It’s going to be very hard to go back to my micro 2/3’s street camera after it. Further, it’s much better in low light so it opens up other opportunities on the street.
Thank you for letting us know a little bit more about you and your thought process and passion for street photography.
Lasse Persson you are a treasure, we salute you my fellow photographer.
That was wonderful ... well done young man! I enjoyed that....

Lasse is the best! A wonderful kind man and an excellent photographer.
It is great to have such a passion in our life.
I met Lasse this summer, when I was in Stockholm to photograph. What a great man!

Thanks, I'm working on it. It takes time because I try to make the videos as artistic as possible.

Good stuff
He’s a legend! ❤
Wonderful ❤ His story is exactly the same as mine, only I have never been a “professional” photographer, whatever that means.
A professional photographer is a person who makes through taking photographs.
Questa è un tipo di “arte” che, personalmente, dopo aver visto 5 scatti, mi fa venir voglia di prepararmi un caffè
What does that mean?
Oh, mighty algorithm - what a discovery!
Lasse❤
Happy Birthday
Now that's PROPER street photography
What focal length does he shoot with ?
He shoots with a Nikon D5500 and AF-S DX VR Zoom-Nikkor 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6G ED. What many would call an "entry level" kit. :)
❤️
Gatufotografi på riktigt!
Fantastic love his work🐓🦘🦤🌻🍀
We know him from now on so, he is not unknown master street photographer
These are ordinary street pictures….🤷♂️
