DO NOT install a screen protector over the inner one. I've seen that over and over and people have cracked the screen when it folds from the added thickness.
It's a replacment anyways. I don't know how people mess that one up, but I'm assuming it's because of that whole deal with what happened with the first Fold
Pro Tip: when putting on screen protectors always turn your device off because when the power is on the static electricity causes dust particles to draw to the screens surface.
2nd this also replacing right after you take a hot shower. The humidity helps reduce the particles in the air. Also you should have gotten all the oils off your hands if you took a decent shower.
OMG!! Thank you soon much!! I was freaking out with the screen being frozen. I waited patiently like you suggested and BAM, it started back up!! You are a life saver!!!❤
Thank you so much Brian, you’re awesome ! I appreciate your support , even though you don’t use the link did you end up getting any of the screen protectors?
@@HighTechCheck I did. I ended up going with the Whetstone privacy front screen protector. I didn't know privacy screen protectors were a thing up until your video.
Just so you're aware, the glass cracking at lower impact force is more desirable. When a glass protector breaks at higher force, it means more force gets put on the phone screen below, and thus stronger tempered glass does a worse job protecting your phone. When a screen protector cracks, it dissipates all of the force from a drop. Other than that, loved the video!
Very true, but this isn't an amazing real world test. You are never going to drop your phone on... say the point of a fence. It's going to hit the ground and spread the impact across the entirety of the display. Likely you wouldn't see these results in the real world. Oh, and god forbid you /ever/ catch the screen in the corner. That's instant shatter.
I do it on a full white screen in my notes app bc you can see ANY particles and it's easy to get them off and put the protector on real quick before more get on it.
So the premium gen film protector and the dome premium glass both included in the all-in-one kit or they are upgraded version than whats included in the all-in-one kit?
I've used the Whitestone Dome Premium glass protector for my Fold 3 and 4. I do like this protector a lot but I think moving forward I will go with one that has less steps and is less messy. maybe their basic one or privacy one. Also Casetify cases are NOT friendly with this screen protector. The case is too bulky around the front screen and puts pressure on the screen protector.
Thank you for the thorough reviews! I'd love to know what case you have on the phone in the video. It looks magsafe compliant with a stylus holder on the side? Searched for one like that when i bought mine but ended up having to settle for the mag-sticker. Ty!
So I bought the Whitestone Dome all in one pack. I'm not gonna replace the factory protector, but it comes with the cover screen and camera protectors and there's a sale on the website correctly. Got a great deal on it
The flimsy samsung screen protector is a scratch magnet. Ive scratched it with my fingernails. Super unimpressed with the samsung stand case too. It lets dirt under the edges and the adhesive no longer sticks. I havent even removed it.
Why would you want to take peel of your inner screen protector just to put on a different one. I'm waiting for my original screen protector to crack before i do that. Im going on 7 months, and the original screen protector by Samsung still holds strong. Nice work, Samsung. Thumbs up for that.
Is it just me? But when i put on the screen protector on the big screen, fold it and unfold it, then it start to peel the original screen protector (mainly from the middle where the crease is), i spent the next 30 minutes trying to take off the aftermarket protector and slowly pushing out the bubbles and make it attach like normal
Some of you say don't remove the factory one first and some say yes remove it then some say don't use one at all. I'll just put up with the tiny cracks in the middle until someone replies with a solid opinion.. Thank you in advance 🕺🏼

@@Sheenifierand I just bought a kit that included all protectors, nice to know now. I will just store the inner screen protectors.
Very good advice
Thanks!
This guy does that….?

Nice! The privacy screen are pretty useful, some screen protectors actually come in a matte privacy screen as well.

Another great, honest review of the various screen protectors. Many many thanks for making the vid and a BIG thumbs up.
Thank you so much for taking the time (and money haha) Really appreciate it!

I had it on for 3 or 4 days and literally had to take it off because of 3 tiny scratches, you could see a clear discolouration due to the scratch

have you tried hte screen protector on UAG's? the GLASS SCREEN PROTECTOR SHIELD PLUS FOR GALAXY Z FOLD5
Outstanding and great content fair play to you 👏🏻🇨🇮😎
Thank you Mary!
@@HighTechCheck Your more than welcome 🇨🇮😎
But how much does it protect the inner display?
Will it protect screen from tear? Will it get much harder against hit?
Is it safe to install the protector over top of the existing factory one? I heard that could put additional stress on the display but not sure.
It’s not recommended
@@HighTechCheck Ok thank you!

What about the Samsung Screen Protector, isn't that the Best choice if you ever have to replace it ?
Would it have been nice if you had shown how edge panels work.
I’ll keep that in mind for upcoming videos, thank you for your support.
Can you install screen protector right over the proctor it comes with it
It’s not recommended but I did.
@@HighTechCheckjust wondering which inner screen protector you applied on top of the factory one? Thanks
How do you get that light on the inside camera when you turn it on?
It’s not a light you will see unless your looking at it through another camera.
NaimaAli thank you so much I am absolutely listening to you I hate to drive Matan I subscribe to your channel thank you so much you’re the best
Which is case friendly? Because most screen protector cannot be used with the case
Skinomi screen protectors are my hands down favorite. One will last you the life of the phone. And I've never broken a screen with one on.
You dont need one with gorilla glass victus 2
These are not gorilla glass

They need to make a screen protector for people who want use their phones naked. Non fully cover the screen
You said they were Homophobic glass protectors...loco glass....hahaha
