    Hello friends, I showed you the construction of a current and voltage regulated power supply that can withstand 5 amps by using BD139 and 2SD1047 transistor together with LM317 IC. LM317HVT (60V) and BD139 1 piece is sufficient. You can easily use this circuit in constant current and constant voltage applications. If you are going to use the circuit at high current for a long time, do not forget to cool it. thanks for watching

    it will never work with 10A , just check the main transistor datasheet and you will get what is wrong. This is an analog linear power supply, so it has to have the input of +3V above max voltage at the output. So for 60V output, you have to have the input of 63V. So try to provide 20V 10A with your circuit I would like to see that.

      This circuit may not be able to output with this power !
      Suppose the output voltage is too low and the current is 10 amps
      In this case, 600 watts will fall on the transistor. I do not think the transistor can withstand such conditions for a few more seconds

    Devreyi yaptım 2 amperlik araba lambası bağladım. devre akım ve gerilim ayarı yapıyor fakat çok aşırı ısınıyor. nedeni ne olabilir acaba giriş voltajım 24 volt

    Radiator for 2SD1047 must be much bigger! This scheme needs very good cooling.

      @Umit Sayman Even for load, shown in video (LED panel, lamp) radiator is too small. After 30 minutes of work it will become extremly hot. For 10A as said in video tytle, transistor will die in several minutes

    At an input voltage of 60V and a set output voltage of say 12V DC the load uses up 120W as power @ 10A but the series pass transistor wastes 48V x 10A which is 480W as heat! Efficiency is 120/480 which is just 25%..... Can be used as room heaters during winters!!!

    Eline sağlık. Yalnız bu projenin çift ya da 3 transistörlü güçlü versiyonunu yapsan daha güzel olur. Transistör sayısı artınca çektikleri akım da artacak ve BD139'un ve LM317'nin gücü bu çıkış transistörlerini beslemeye yetmeyecektir.
    Ayrıca bu devrenin 10 amper veremeyeceğini, 5 amper zor çekileceğini söyleyenler var.
    Mosfetli bir devre olsa, mosfet eklemek kolay olurdu. Mosfetler voltajla çalıştığı için akım çekmezler. Ama transistörler farklı.
    Bunun mosfetli bir versiyonunu veya 3 transistörlü versiyonu güçlü bir versiyonunu yapsan hoş olur.
    Müsait bir zamanında buna da el atabilirsin sanki Zafer kardeşim.
    Ekstra faydalı ve değişik bir içerik olur.
    Aşağıda gördüm 20 amperlik filan soranlar olmuş. Ben de bunlardan biriyim doğrusu 😊

      Hello
      I think it is possible,you can add 3 2N30055 or 4,but you must use lm317t because 2N3055 collector emitter voltage is rated at 60v.
      You can use 4 2N3055 to share the drop voltage to all of them.
      Is better to see 2N3055 datasheet .
      You also must add some 0.1R 5w on 2N3055 emitters for current equalisation.

    It is adjustable ... but it regulates neither voltage nor current of the output.
    By the way, having a constant current through an incandescent light bulb is pretty normal as it's resistance rises with temperature.

    Linkteki şema da 2n3055 var, kullandığınız farklı gibi geldi, aynı transistör mü bunlar, 2. Si diyelim ki araç aküsü şarj edeceğiz, 12 ah çekti, bunu bilemeyiz şarj için taktık, , devreye sıkıntı vermemek babında, çıkışa 10ah sigorta koysak atar değilmi sıkıntı vermez

    Usta lm317 sıtatık gibi bozuluyor. Özellikle röle ve fırçalı motor. Anı kısa anlıl yüksek volt ve parazite karşı girişlere diyot bağladım. Deneylerde başıma geldi.

    2n3055 ve lm317 darlinkton bağlantı bağladım regüle hassasiyeti düştü. Lm317 tek başına kullanıldığında çıkış amperi aşmadıkca volt aynı kalıyor. Volton yüzde biri bile oynamıyor.

    Hem tam regüle hem en az ısınma çaresi biliyorsan paylaş. Beyz yada geyt tam tetiklenduğinde nerdeyse ısı az.

    Bu tarz projeleri yüksek akım değeriyle denersen daha verimli olur Bence. Pcb ye soğutucu kısım da eklenseymiş daha güzel olur mus güzel proje ama bunun güzel bir kutuya soğutucu ile yerleştirilmesi lazım 😂 60v 10a iyi bir değer

    Bu devreden en çok 3 aper çekebilirsiniz 10 amper için 4 adet D1047 bağlamanız lazım Kendim özellikle denedim
