    CORRECTION: In the video, the diode connected to the capacitor at the circuit output is unnecessary, so I removed it from the circuit diagram. The diode does not need to be used.

      Transistör kullanma nedeni? LM317, 1,5 amperden daha fazlasını kullanamaz. Böylece transistör akım yükseltir olarak kullanılır, ancak voltaj LM317 tarafından korunur. LÜTFEN KANALIMIN ABONE OLDUĞUNU

    Kolay gelsin, gerçekten güzel hazırlanıp, bir o kadar da güzel sunumu olan bir çalışma olmuş. Devreyi kurup çalıştıranlardan birisiyim. Bu devreden yararlanacak arkadaşlara önemli detayları ve yaşadığım sorunları paylaşacağım ki bu devreden faydalanacak arkadaşlara faydam olsun. Bir nevi güncelleme gibi düşünün. Belki swichmod güç kaynağı kullanan arkadaşlar hiç etkilenmeyecek ama trafo ile regüle edilen bir güç kaynağı kullanacaksanız ve trafonuz benimki gibi 220V. / 20V.-400W. civarlarında güçlü ise vay halinize. Devredeki eksikliği şöyle farkettim; hatasız devreyi kurdum, enerjiyi verdim, gayet de güzel çalıştı, devrede 3 tane TİP3055 kullandım, 10A civarı devreden güç çektim, sonra enerjiyi kestim, beş dakika sonra tekrar enerji verdim ama devre çalışmadı. Devreyi taradım LM317 yanmış, TİP 3055 in bir tanesi de yanmış. Yanan parçaları değiştirdim, yine aynı durum, tam 4 tane LM317 ardarda anlamsız şekilde yandı. Biraz uğraştırdı ama sorunu sonunda buldum; enerjiyi kesince trafoda oluşan anlık zıt EMK darbesi LM317 yi sessizce yakıyor. Bulduğum çözüm ise şöyle; LM317 nin 1. ve 2. ayakları ile ve 2. ve 3. ayakları arasına ters polarize 1N4007 diyot eklenecek ve 2. çıkış ayağı ile GND(-) arasına bir tane daha ilk girişte olduğu gibi 200nf ( 0,1uf) kutupsuz kondansatör konulacak. Önemli bir detay daha; mümkün olduğu kadar bu eklenen diyot ve kondansatörler koruyacağı elemana yani LM 317 ye kablo ile fazla uzatmadan en yakın hatta mümkünse direkt ayağından alınarak kablolama ve bağlantıları yapılacak. Bu devreyi kurup uzun vadede sorunsuz kullanmak isteyen arkadaşlara önemle duyrulur. Paylaşmak güzeldir.

    Merak edip, devreyi yaptım. Soğutucularım çok büyük olmadığı için 6.5 Amp yükle test ettim. Performans olarak gayet başarılı. Çok hassas gerilim istenmeyen projeler için çok rahat kullanılabilir. Emeğiniz için teşekkürler..

      this is not efficient when u take low voltage and high current. if u take 5 v 2 amp. the voltage drop on transistor is around 24- 5 19 v power loss is 19x2 38 watt on heat sinks. please see my videos

      Devreyi yaptım 12 volt verdim çıkış tan 5 volt danfazlasını alamadım Ayrıca yük baglayincada devre ıptal voltaj sıfıra iniyor. devre yi yapacak arkadaşlar boşuna masraf etmesinler .

      @@Kendin-Yap Все хорошо со схемой, думаю повторить. Мне только непонятно назначение диода D1, включенного последовательно с конденсатором С2. Через этот диод, конденсатор зарядится до максимума, и так, как разряжаться ему некуда, он утратит свои сглаживающие (демпфирующие) свойства. Если есть специалисты русскоязычные, просьба высказать свое мнение по этому поводу.

    The circuit schematic is VERY odd:
    1. There is zero direct feedback from the output to maintain voltage stability under load
    2. What is supposed to be the purpose of C2? It merely stores output charge ONCE, and cannot provide proper ripple reduction because of the series diode from the output?

      Yes Bob, I agree. I'm also having difficulty seeing how the current control works: I can't believe that it maintains the same current limit as the LM317 pin U1-2 output voltage changes.
      Further, the heatsinks are clearly too small for high current, low voltage outputs, when dissipation could reach say 20V×5A = 100W. for a 5V, 10A output. This also exceeds the TIP3055's 25° CASE-RATED power which is 90W.
      Do you think we should provide mods to this cct, or just forget about it?
      I notice also that no unreg source is offered. Transformer, rect and smoothing cap.

      @@kuzey.bilgin 7A sürekli çalışma derken kaç voltta ve ne kadar soğutabiliyorsunuz. Her voltaj seviyesinde yüksek akım almaya çalışırsanız farklı güç transistörü yada farklı bir devre de kullansanız sonu yanmayla biter. Güç kaynağı kullanırken WATT ve SICAKLIK değerleri maksimum kaç amper ile kullanmamız gerektiğini belirler. Aşağıda mantığını anlatmaya çalıştım. Umarım faydalı olur... Her şeyden önce watt konusunu dikkate almalısınız. Bir TIP3055 güç transistörü datasheet inde belirtildiği gibi maksimum 90 watt güç ile çalışabilir ki bu 25 derecelik bir sıcaklık için geçerli. Eğer bu seviyede soğutmayı başarabilirseniz bu şu anlama geliyor. 12V ile kullanırsam (Akım=Güç/gerilim) 90/12=7.5 Amper Maksimum seviye. Bunun üzerinde yanacaktır. Eğer 15 volt ile kullanıyorsam 90/15=6 Amper. Maksimum 6 Amper çekilmeli. Tabi ki güç transistörlerini 25 derece de tutmak pek kolay değil. İyi bir soğutma ile 40-50 derecelerde tutulabilir. Kullandığımız soğutmanın 50 derede güç transistörünü tutabildiğini varsayalım. Video da gösterdiğim ve 3055 in datasheet inde belirtilmiş olan sıcaklık watt diagramında 50 derede transistörün maksimum gücünün 70 watt a düştüğü görülüyor. Bu durumda önceki iki örneği tekrar hesaplayalım. 12V kullanımında 7.5 amper olan maksimum amper 70/12= 5.8 Amper olur. 15 volt ile kullanımda 70/15=4.6 Amper olur. Voltaj düşürüldüğünde çekebileceğimiz akım da artar . Ama onunda bir sınırı var. Bu sınırlar güç transistörlerinin datasheet lerinde belirtilmiştir. benim yaptığım devrede soğutma için kullandığım fanlar yüksek devirlidir. Bu sayede 9v gerilim ile 10 amper çeken sürekli kullanım testimde 60 derecenin altında tutabildim. Bu konuları dikkate alarak güç kaynaklarını kullandığınızda verim alabilirsiniz. Sıcaklığı düşüremiyorsak diğer çözüm güç transistörlerinin sayını arttırmaktar. Eklediğimiz her bir paralel bağlantılı 3055 toplamda daha fazla akım çekebilmemizi sağlar. Veya aynı akımda daha az ısınma sağlar. Kullanım esnasında güç transistörlerinin sıcaklığı ölçerek yeterince soğutup soğutamadımızı anlamamızı sağlar. Yetersizse Soğutucu plakanın boyutları büyütülmeli. Ne kadar büyük plaka kullanırsanız ısı o kadar dağılır ve rahat soğur. Yüksek devirli fanlar da soğutmaya önemli katkı sağlar. KISACA yüksek akım yüksek sıcaklığa sebep olur. Soğutamazsak güç transistörleri yanar...

    Thank you for your great explanation of the parts, i wanted to ask in english so global audience can learn too.
    1- Does this circuit has shortage protection? like if i connect output + and - would it be bad?
    2- I have 3 2n3055 for the circuit, would it be smarter to use 3 of them instead of 2, for spreading the heat?
    3- ive ordered a Cata smps for the input power, ive selected a 12,5 amper, 12v model.
    4- Should i put a aliminum cooler to bd139?
    5- Can i run it for 10-20 hours non stop, of course with proper cooling, im thinking about using a gpu fan which is small and very fast.
    and i would like to thank you again, ive just started into these stuff and my hobby is sound systems, so i needed a proper regulator, ive checked tons of videos in english and turkish, yet all of them were not enough and there you are doing better then every channel ive saw even globally, so thank you for that.

      No short circuit protection, but current limitation. It protects from instant short cycles.
      Yeah, three 3055 would be better.
      If it needs to run for a very long time, larger heatsinks and more powerful fans are required. A small heatsink is enough for BD139.
