    Dude hell yeah. Kudos for picking up a trad bow. I've been using the Satori now for a few months and I absolutely love it. I have 2 of them actually (one in each riser color). You made a good choice. All my archery buddies have their own bows and when I let them shoot my Satori they always tell me how amazing it feels and shoots.

    I had a take down recurve for back country hunting in Colorado. You are going to love it once you learn to draw and release because, "IT AINT A COMPOUND WITH 80% LETOFF" learn to be the arrow, shoot more instinctive and smoothly. Compounds spoil you when you can hold a long time waiting on a bull to appear. With recurve you have to be more focused and work on your stealth killer moves. Thank you Eric, Hushin rockin this year

    Question in my Opinion the Limbs are more important than the Riser when thinking of Bow Performance when You got an older ILF Riser but really good Limbs You on the safe side what gives me a high Price Riser with cheep Limbs on it its like a Porsche with a VW 1.3 Golf Motor that's make no sense what Do You think about?

    For whatever reason the factory plastic grip on the Hoyt Satori seems to be causing me to get a nasty blister on my right thumb knuckle at the base of the joint. Any suggestions of what to do? Seems to be a flawed design which forces your hand into a high grip position and causes your knuckle to grind underneath the bottom of the plastic grip.

Awesome I look forward to seeing you hunt with traditional equipment...Maybe you can help Matt with the trad movement in the younger generation .Trad Life is where it's at you are going to find yourself shooting that bow more than your compound trust me ...I suggest a Trad rabbit hunt you will make it a tradition every year ..Keep up the good work .Keep hammering...

    Limb weight for Satori Limbs are ranked with 21" riser.... you get shorter risers... Add 2lb for 17" riser and another 2 for the 15" riser. You can see that... on the Hoyt website.

    Bow Heaven..... Ah, The joy of shooting a bow.... I enjoy instinctive shooting a long bow, recurve bow and then a short dual cam compound bow in that order with no sights. Short bow requires mechanical release but I have set all three for a release. Each has a different set of arrows due to tuning. I do not own a crossbow,.

  • @Stykbow
    @Stykbow ปีที่แล้ว

    He’s wrong. With the 17 inch riser you’re actually 4fps faster. It’s based off the 21 inch riser, so you’re shooting closer to 48 I’d say with your draw.
