    I'm starting my junk removal business very soon. Saving up money now. Been looking into it for a few years and now I'm ready to pull the trigger.

    dang slowing down in winter in California? I'm worried about winter in Canada lol...

      We have noticed a direct link to weather and the phone ringing. People hibernate when it’s cold so there is not much moving, cleaning, yard work etc. and that effects junk removal.

    Up here in Canada, we can get -40 with windchill. We are pretty tough 😀😀

    Why do you cut up the mattresses, do you always do it at the dump and what about box springs? Thanks

    • @SonomaStrong
      @SonomaStrong  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If we don’t cut up the mattresses then we have to pay 50 at the dump to dispose of it, same for the box spring

      @@SonomaStrong was about to ask the same question. what does cutting it up do? just to remove the springs? do you recycle the springs also separately?

    One bit of advice always have safety glasses on at a work site. I require all my workers to be wearing them for their safety. And the property owner will see this as well you work safe as possible

    Quick question, on quote and pricing. So say your quoting a job that's 1/2 a trailer load. Do you do minimum price + 1/2 trailer load? Or just the 1/2 trailer load?
    Thanks

    • @SonomaStrong
      @SonomaStrong  ปีที่แล้ว

      Your minimum pickup up price is what it costs to move your truck for one single item. You would charge a 1/2 price for 1/2 load Full load price for your full load
