Just got my Daiwa Seagate reel in this morning and will probably buy a Catfish Sumo 2 pc rod in a week or 2. Getting set to do some river fishing on the Ouachita river in Northeast Louisiana. Me and my kids watch your videos just about every day! Beautiful scenery and some awesome Blues and Op's!
I think he’s been understanding them for years lol! The technology is just making it a whole lot more easy for his already super human cat fishing knowledge! Lol! He thinks lives breathes catfish! He just don’t eat em! Lol he lets em all go! But he did say in Tennessee where he is even if he kept dinks to eat that they say don’t eat the catfish around where he fishes cause of something in the water has for them and Wildlife fisheries or whomever put out don’t eat the catfish there some reason. Crazy
I have a good handful for different species but he’s my top one of 3 cat fisherman I watch! I watch every video he uploads. And his monotone voice puts me to sleep at night! Even got lucky and had a dream listening to his video a week ago I was cat fishing beside him in my new future kayak like his. Talk about a badass dream until me and my wife’s 4 year old kicked me in his sleep and woke me up! Talk about pissed! Told the wife, that’s it! He’s not sleeping with us no more no matter what! She laughed and said we’ll go sleep in his bed then dad my baby staying in bed with me! 😭😭😭
Justin - love the video and love watching you catch all these fish. Since this is your office now - it'd be interesting to see you do stuff many of us don't get to do. Meaning, actively trying different strategies that may or may not work. Strategies that you haven't proven out maybe? Could do like monday fundays where you do something silly like try to fish with different baits to see what they will bite (maybe while also having some skipjack down to compare the odd baits to the skipjack). Just some ideas - think it would make for interesting videos given you are fishing so much more now. I'd personally like to see you doing stuff like this to push the envelope
Dear Justin, I told you before. Afther 20 times been catched they now verry huge , and it they recognise a hook they know it means danger . to catch the huge ones you need to use other bait and make youre hook invisible. Just give it a try you got nothing to lose... Cant you youse small pieces of catfisch ?? Annyway I will like you every time I watch, so I can see wich vids I alreddy have seen ;-) and please keep up that humor !. Sorry my englisch is so bad, I never had englisch lessons ... I realy hope you will read it.

Can you get a big submerged live well in a water-way that you know well a just get it pretty full of bait that you can keep fed? For duration of the spawning time, you can fill it up.
All this info on conture fishing paths and structure makes it feel like 60-70's fishing show. So, when does the bloopers reel come out? I'd buy that for $19.99 plus shipping and handling.

That first flathead with the sun backlighting its fins was beautiful. Really brought out the red in them
