And why is Sandman evil? He wouldn’t fight any of the Peters, he only became a criminal because he had to get money for his daughters treatment. And there’s a million plot holes I can mention
For Deadpool it made sense as a meta commentary but otherwise it feels weird. Like this is obviously made for a Cinematic universe. There is almost no in world explanation why character X is somehow more important other than "He made the most money to Marvel" but you can hardly use that for lore purposes. Maybe it will be explained but right now I think it should stay in Deadpool.
I agree. Eventually the anchor in every timeline is going to die, that's just common sense, so that would mean that every timeline has a deadline. For example in the main timeline wouldn't it be fair to assume that iron man or captain America were the anchor? One is dead and the other is close to it, so the main timeline is basically doomed now.
So these leaks conveniently happen after deadpool and wolverine releases. And just so happen to include Anchor beings even though noone had talked about the concept beforehand in other leaks. Hmmm suspicious.
Fake. "Anchor beings" was obviously a plot point thought up by the Deadpool team to make fun of how corporate had no interest in continuing the Fox X-men Universe without Hugh Jackman's Wolverine. They're not going to introduce a key plot element of the next Avengers movie in an R-Rated Deadpool movie barely related to the MCU. That's stupid.
Jonathan Majors told TMZ that he is "heartbroken" by the news that Robert Downey Jr.'s Doctor Doom will be the new villain of the next two "Avengers" movies, effectively replacing Majors' Kang the Conquerer. Marvel fired Majors in December, the same day he was found guilty of two misdemeanor counts of harassment and assault. His villain, Kang, was created as the new Thanos of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and would feature prominently in "Avengers: The Kang Dynasty," which has now been scrapped and replaced by "Avengers: Doomsday," starring Downey. “Yes, heartbroken. Of course,” Majors responded when TMZ asked if he was hurt by the new direction Marvel was taking. “I love Kang. However, Doctor Doom is evil.” TMZ later noted that Downey was being given the opportunity to lead more Marvel films despite his own history of legal troubles. Downey was arrested in 1996 for possession of heroin, cocaine and an unloaded gun and received three years of probation. He faced many other legal problems in the years that followed, causing some Marvel executives to worry about casting him as Tony Stark in 2008's "Iron Man." "I think it's only fair that Mr. Downey has been met with patience, curiosity and love... and that he will be allowed to work [his] art and be creative at that level," Majors said of how Downey was given a return despite the legal problems. "I didn't really understand that." Would Majors want to return to the MCU as Kang? "Hell yes! Hell yes! I love it. I love Kang," he said. "If that's what the fans want and that's what Marvel wants, then let's move on. Hell yes."
I think the difference here is that RDJ made a concentrated effort to change his behavior and habits, to make up for the things he did, which was why he was able to be in a place where he could make movies again like when he got cast for Iron Man and later Tropic Thunder. Essentially the things he did and his recovery from addiction (which was in the early 2000’s) happened before he was cast in Iron man as a comeback. I also feel the need to mention that he never physically assaulted a woman, even if he hurt his then wife at the time emotionally from his behavior. Whereas with Johnathan Major if you look at what people who have known him throughout various points in his life have been saying a pattern of aggressive manipulation and abuse emerges. Additionally he hasn’t really expressed regret or made any concentrated efforts toward changing his behaviors, especially when you consider his relationship with Meagan Goode and his self comparison to MLK.
@@DrEternity42 Remember What Happened When accepting the award on stage at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles, Majors, 34, said: "I think people want to know about last year. He continued: "I didn't feel like Jonathan Majors, Mr. Creed, Mr. Kang; I felt like a kid who was a little scared and weak, despite the support and evidence that was in my favor, I knew shit was wrong." ". ". ". ". 'And it was bad because of who I was and what I am. This is what happens to black people too often.” Major later gave credit to his faith, stating, "The God I serve has put me in a position where I have had to embody that word more than I ever wanted or wanted." 'We live in a world where men, black men in particular, are considered superheroes or supervillains, but I have personally realized that I am neither of those. I am imperfect. I have flaws, I admit them. I love my job.' Towards the end, he told Meagan: 'I love you, I love you beyond all limits, with all my strength, with all my heart I love you,' while also greeting his nine-year-old daughter, Ella. And in early March of this year, Good opened up about her romance with Majors, telling People, "I'm in love, I'm transitioning, I'm healing, I'm growing [and] I'm getting excited. 'What's next.' 'Yes, just many things at once. But what I can say is that I am happier than I have been in a long time.” The "Lovecraft Country" star also thanked his mother, recalling that she stood behind him when his guilty verdict was read and told him, "It's okay, son." Just before the awards ceremony, Variety and Deadline reported that Majors had booked his first film role since his assault conviction in "Merciless," a revenge thriller that will be directed by Denis Villeneuve's brother, Martin Villeneuve.

I'm just gonna view Kang as the "Zant" of this saga, with Doom being the "Ganondorf" of the saga, similar to how Ganondorf ended up being the actual main villain of Twilight Princess instead of Zant towards the end.
It was not michael Waldron who was originally meant to write kang dynasty, it was Jeff loveness, Michael was set to write secret wars. I Jeff also did quantummania. Michael probably had a little input on avengers 5.
Your not taking this into consideration, they casted RBJ as Doom. This would be a great motivator for Spider Man since his dead mentor is now the main villain. So his chances of being the main protagonist is even higher now.
@@Quantum_Bluntz Great strawman. What this person was obviously saying was that it made no sense in-universe for the Watcher to pick Captain Carter and Black Widow to fight against an incredibly powerful villain, when there are far better characters the Watcher could have picked.
It would actually be more of a fight than you describe it to be, one name in particular being Ghost Rider would be enough to level most of the council, if you require proof and evidence then I will tell you if need be.
A real shame how Loki S2 came out too late into burnout to be rewarded for how it avoided most recent MCU issues. Felt like a brief glimpse of a much better-managed phase. They really needed more self-contained entries with the script and VFX plans finished well before shooting.
Making Tom Holland's Spider Man the Anchor being of the MCU is genius. It can lead into why Tony Stark felt like he had to sacrifice himself to bring Spider man back in End Game. It goes beyond Iron Man's personal arc and and shows from the very beginning he was compelled to save the universe.
I like the idea of Kang not being a big menace, just someone who found his variants and took advantage of this, so he is more of a inconvenience since there's a lot of him going around there. At the end, he is no match for real threats such as Galactus or Doom. My pitch for the next movie: Kang joins Doom out of desperation now that TVA is hunting him down. Doom ultimately betrays him and steals his tech and traveling machine, he wants to hunt down Reed. In order to avoid more inconveniences, he decides to kill every single Kang out there. Reed learns this, and he joins the Avengers to prevent the new Doomsday
I mean the only thing scary thing about kang in the comics is his technology, and that’s there’s so many variants of him- he just keeps coming back. So him to losing to ant man wasn’t so far fetched.
I just want to know what’s the point of introducing all these characters in phase 4 and 5 if they’re not really important to the plot of the future crossovers…. Like if this is truly the plot why not try to build phase 4 and 5 entirely around the multiverse and give the characters of past films before the mcu some type of Logan esq send off movie for them to ultimately come back in for avengers 5 and 6, instead they wasted resources of shows and movies that flopped and tainted how fans will view these characters forever. She hulk is a great character in the comics but many people now are annoyed by her. Nobody wants to see any of the Marvels again aside from Ms. Marvel, Hawkeye was decent but nobody’s truly hyped for a young avengers movie which is why they haven’t announced one yet. There was no point in introducing Riri Williams in Wakanda forever. So much of TFATWS was setting up future stories that nobodies really interested in. It’s almost like they had a plan for avengers 5 and 6 and just let people screw around while they tried to convince the legacy actors to come back.
And the slightest chance of any of the anchor brings dying would have put there entire universes at risk it's really was a bad idea and making the movie just this team center is also feels weird either make kang dynasty on brilliant template of infinity war following two teams fighting against one common enemy or don't make this an Avenger movie dont title it Avengers title it something else and when they fail to stop kangs or something the kangs does severely impacts the structure of multiverse leading to incursions leading to rifts between the kangs blaming each other and officially starting multiversal war and the lost heroes of previous movies teaming up with some Avengers on main earth protecting it from incursions and second team fighting kangs
I thought Wolverine being an "anchor being" in Deadpool was just a joking jab at how Logan was by far the most popular Xmen character from those older films
I'd bet Tom is the lead/one of the main protagonists of the film. Not only cause his interactions with a Tony lookalike will make great scenes, but also because Marvel is clearly desperate, and we all know that rn, Spider-Man is marvel's biggest hero, so they're gonna try and shove him everywhere to get more people to watch
It actually kinda makes sense for Spider-Man to be the anchor being of 616 considering he was the reason Tony made the Time Machine and henceforth he was the reason we got Avengers Peakgame but then again Tony did make the Time Machine and did kill thanos
I’m still so pissed off that they made the third Antman movie just all about Kang. Like it wasn’t an Antman movie in the SKIGHTEST they were just there to be vehicles
Can we stop acting like this is a credible leak? It really isnt, and doesnt sound remotely real. The title is just clickbait though, and you probably seem a bit too confident in it Great video anyway, keep up the content regardless
It’s a shame they handled Kang so badly because he’s one of my favourite Marvel villains. I hope in the future, years from now once the MCU has been rebooted Kang gets a second chance.
People straight up getting BULLET POINTS and deciding entire movies would've failed on that basis alone. We are in the fanservice era of entertainment. Whether or not you're actually a good writer, if armchair critics decide you did their favorite characters dirty, your credentials are shredded in front of you, and you're deemed incompetent.
Looking at it now, Johnathan Majors could’ve been a really deep layered and great villain with multiple movies setting up a great character arc, but with the crappy writing we have nowadays, the Mcu is incapable of writing anything consistently layered throughout films anymore
As bad as the MCU's gotten, I seriously doubt they were gonna make an Avengers movie without an Avengers lineup. Either that Spidey plot point was a side story or it's pure fabrication.
I don't believe for a second that 3 Spidermen & Ghost Rider were the team for Kang Dynasty, especially after the build-up in Quantumania. You're right about the underwhelming portrayal of Kang's power though, that was bad writing. I'm still sad that Majors got sacked, he was one of the best villains in the MCU so far.
3 Spideys, Wolverine, & Ghost Rider?? You would think at a minimum they would have Thor (or Odin), Vision, Wanda, Professor X, and Doctor Strange to take on Kang
MCU Kang sucked, not only because someone who was defeated by ants doesn't deserve to even smell Thanos farts but because he looked like an evil smurf.
It's the same problem the comic book spiderverse had. Canonically why did they bring hundreds of spider people to fight the inheritors instead of actually powerful heroes
There was no way that Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield were only coming back for No Way Home. Despite the sense of finality in Deadpool and Wolverine, it was never the swan song for Hugh Jackman. Despite The Kang Dynasty apparently ditching She-Hulk, Rule 63 Loki, America Chavez, Shang-Chi et al, it wouldn’t have worked. It feels like old times, and not in a good way. Remember when Marvel used to slap Spider-Man or Wolverine on the front covers of comics that had nothing to do with them? When you read the synopsis, it feels awesome at face value. Hugh Jackman meeting up with Tobey Maguire is cinematic fanservice to the nth power. Hugh Jackman meeting up with Tobey Maguire, Andrew Garfield and Tom Holland feels unreal. An event 20 years in the making that seemed impossible. That alone is enough to get bums in seats. How could Disney possibly botch this premise? Easy! Spider-Man and Wolverine team up to stop Kang and lose. To a guy who's been taken down by Rule 63 Loki and a stampede of ants.
If they were going to do this they should have included all the old characters from the other universes like Fantastic Four, Blade, Daredevil, The Punisher, Ang Lee's Hulk...that would have been epic
I call BS. No one has ever heard of “anchor beings” until Deadpool & Wolverine came out. A movie Iger didn’t want made and Fiege tried to convince Hugh Jackman to not do.

i mean it could definitely be better in my opinion. maybe they realized that people are getting bored of all the multiverse cameo shit and decided to write something with the goal of being a compelling story. that’s the best case scenario imo. but ofc, even then the final product could still come out rushed and kind of disjointed because of the short deadline and probably massive scope. but you know we can still hope.
just me trying to be optimistic
The directors of the movie are the only good part about the movie right now.
I think more than half of the cast being made up by 3 literally nearly identical characters is really stupid
No Way Home had to separate each character and kinda made each of the alternate one represent a good and a bad future for our main one, with it coming in a positive light once MJ got saved. They were selective and careful.
Yeah I get that
spider verse did it lol
@@avairal5936 in spiderverse each spider person was individual in their necessity to the plot and in their personality
They were very strongly different people with a similar cause
You're making it sound like it would've been the worst thing ever. It doesn't sound out of the ordinary for the 3 spidermen, wolverine, and ghostrider to defeat kang, since ant man and wasp defeated kang all on their own in quantumania.
They defeated 1 Kang with the help of an ant army
This will be those 4 against the entire Kang Dynasty
yeah but quantomania was also a terrible movie
@fudouakio4759 If a bunch of ants can kill one, Wolverine alone could genocide the whole multiverse

Y’all don’t know who Kang is fr
They’re probably just going to take this script, replace “Kang” with “Dr Doom” and film it.
Though I’m not sure what’s so unbelievable about Spider-Man being the lead. Who else would it be, Captain Marvel? Dr Strange? Black Panther’s sister? I don’t really believe this leak, mainly because it’s only characters that people actually want to see.
Nah it’s the russo brothers they ain’t changing Jack
Definitely Strange, alongside Captain America
Yeah that's actually a good point. Steve Rogers Captain America and Iron Man were arguably the main lead characters in all Avengers films, and now that they're both gone there's a void that would be awkward for even Thor to fill despite being the next most important Avenger. I can see Sam Wilson Captain America possibly being the main character for Avengers Doomsday but it definitely makes more sense for it to center around Spidey.
The leaks are fake. It’s smoke and mirrors to protect Jrs Doom

Honestly, when Doctor Strange had cameos of non-nostalgic characters, like Captain Carter and such, everybody called them cheap and a cash grab. But when NWH had all the great villains from the past, they ate it all up! And the movie also disrespected they’re character arcs, like it makes Doc Ocks journey in SM2 less compelling, since he was cured in NWH and his change of heart wasn’t natural. And why is Sandman evil? He wouldn’t fight any of the Peters, he only became a criminal because he had to get money for his daughters treatment. And there’s a million plot holes I can mention
Quantumania wouldn't have been so bad if they just had Kang actually kill Ant-Man and establish him as a serious threat.
The concept of Anchor beings is just about the stupidest thing I've heard in a marvel movie
It’s not an MCU original thing. The recent secret wars stuff had it.
Yeah it's just not reasonable at all.
Well, they have made a lot of stupid decisions.
the Deadpool movie did make a lot of money tho and these companies tend to learn the wrong lessons from success and failure in general
However, Doctor Doom is evil.”
TMZ later noted that Downey was being given the opportunity to lead more Marvel films despite his own history of legal troubles. Downey was arrested in 1996 for possession of heroin, cocaine and an unloaded gun and received three years of probation. He faced many other legal problems in the years that followed, causing some Marvel executives to worry about casting him as Tony Stark in 2008's "Iron Man."
"I think it's only fair that Mr. Downey has been met with patience, curiosity and love... and that he will be allowed to work [his] art and be creative at that level," Majors said of how Downey was given a return despite the legal problems. "I didn't really understand that."
Would Majors want to return to the MCU as Kang? "Hell yes! Hell yes!
As a black man in the criminal justice system , I felt anger, sadness, pain and shock. When they took me out of my apartment in handcuffs, I didn't feel like that.'
This is what happens to black people too often.”
Major later gave credit to his faith, stating, "The God I serve has put me in a position where I have had to embody that word more than I ever wanted or wanted."
'We live in a world where men, black men in particular, are considered superheroes or supervillains, but I have personally realized that I am neither of those. I am imperfect. I have flaws, I admit them. I love my job.'
Towards the end, he told Meagan: 'I love you, I love you beyond all limits, with all my strength, with all my heart I love you,' while also greeting his nine-year-old daughter, Ella.
And in early March of this year, Good opened up about her romance with Majors, telling People, "I'm in love, I'm transitioning, I'm healing, I'm growing [and] I'm getting excited. 'What's next.'
'Yes, just many things at once. But what I can say is that I am happier than I have been in a long time.”
The "Lovecraft Country" star also thanked his mother, recalling that she stood behind him when his guilty verdict was read and told him, "It's okay, son."
Just before the awards ceremony, Variety and Deadline reported that Majors had booked his first film role since his assault conviction in "Merciless," a revenge thriller that will be directed by Denis Villeneuve's brother, Martin Villeneuve.

How is it that Eric Bana's Hulk will not make any appearance in Avengers: Kang Dynasty? I want to see an interaction between Eric Bana's Hulk and Mark Ruffalo's Hulk.
I remember reading a long time ago that Eric Bana doesn’t want to reprise that role, ever. Maybe that’s changed though.
This feels like a story a kid playing with Marvel LEGOs would come up with.
I'm just gonna view Kang as the "Zant" of this saga, with Doom being the "Ganondorf" of the saga, similar to how Ganondorf ended up being the actual main villain of Twilight Princess instead of Zant towards the end.
It would have worked better if it was just a trio of either Toby or Andrew, wolverine, and ghost rider
It was not michael Waldron who was originally meant to write kang dynasty, it was Jeff loveness, Michael was set to write secret wars. I Jeff also did quantummania. Michael probably had a little input on avengers 5.
I honestly would have enjoyed this movie if we had gotten it
Your not taking this into consideration, they casted RBJ as Doom. This would be a great motivator for Spider Man since his dead mentor is now the main villain. So his chances of being the main protagonist is even higher now.
THIS ISN'T 616 That's the comic universe, MCU is 199999. This was confirmed years ago and by across the spider verse

It's as dumb as The Watcher picking Capt Carter and Black Widow to stop Ultron with Infinity Stones.
Oh you only like OP heroes fighting OP villains?
Women
@@Quantum_Bluntz Great strawman. What this person was obviously saying was that it made no sense in-universe for the Watcher to pick Captain Carter and Black Widow to fight against an incredibly powerful villain, when there are far better characters the Watcher could have picked.
Having non-MCU heroes can be a fun treat, but making them the main focus of an MCU movie defeats the point of an Avengers film.
I just want to see Nick cage that would be awesome
Great video but what did you do with the audio? Im hearing it mostly in my left ear
It’s almost like they had a plan for avengers 5 and 6 and just let people
screw around while they tried to convince the legacy actors to come back.
i hope they have kang in secret wars or bring him back for the next saga because he’s such a good villain that was wasted
it’s like ultron, but at least ultron got an avengers movie and apparently returning in Vision Quest, so i hope they bring Kang back
And the slightest chance of any of the anchor brings dying would have put there entire universes at risk it's really was a bad idea and making the movie just this team center is also feels weird either make kang dynasty on brilliant template of infinity war following two teams fighting against one common enemy or don't make this an Avenger movie dont title it Avengers title it something else and when they fail to stop kangs or something the kangs does severely impacts the structure of multiverse leading to incursions leading to rifts between the kangs blaming each other and officially starting multiversal war and the lost heroes of previous movies teaming up with some Avengers on main earth protecting it from incursions and second team fighting kangs
If Peter Parker is the anchor being of 616, wouldn’t the universe had imploded when he blipped?
We wuz Kang
The thing that Gott me laughing was that it would be 3 Spider-Man like they could take 2 of them and take like a Thor and a Deadpool
How such good set up in Loki series for character was so awful in ant man 3 and could be further?!
I thought Wolverine being an "anchor being" in Deadpool was just a joking jab at how Logan was by far the most popular Xmen character from those older films
"This makes the TVA seem dumb"
I thought Loki did plenty of that
4:30 Sony might say otherwise
0:29 The Kang Dynasty*

Bro who cares…
I'd bet Tom is the lead/one of the main protagonists of the film. Not only cause his interactions with a Tony lookalike will make great scenes, but also because Marvel is clearly desperate, and we all know that rn, Spider-Man is marvel's biggest hero, so they're gonna try and shove him everywhere to get more people to watch
These past few years have proven that you should never pre-order a movie from a Film Slate reveal
Kang is a good villain I don’t see why you’d just get rid of him after building him up.
Just do a proper Blue version and recast him.
1:46 After the collapse of the multiverse, who is left from whom any wars may be kept "Secret" ?
I don't think there's any reason to believe this is a real plot. It really sounds like something a fan threw together for a fake leak.
Can we stop acting like this is a credible leak? It really isnt, and doesnt sound remotely real. The title is just clickbait though, and you probably seem a bit too confident in it
Great video anyway, keep up the content regardless
Remember when the premise of the Avengers movies was just “this bad man wants to kill a lot of people, we’re gonna need like six guys to stop him”?
Michael waldron did mom not antman- both are badly written though
It’s a shame they handled Kang so badly because he’s one of my favourite Marvel villains. I hope in the future, years from now once the MCU has been rebooted Kang gets a second chance.
Its just weird kang was hyped up in Loki s1 and then when we see him in action in the antman movie, he is nothing but a fraud
I cannot believe that disney rather casting Robert Downey Jr to iron man, they cast him to dr. Doom.
You would think at a minimum they would have Thor (or Odin), Vision, Wanda, Professor X, and Doctor Strange to take on Kang
just imagine that they do bring back Kang, just for the entire council to be destroyed by 1% of Dr. Doom's power
MCU Kang sucked, not only because someone who was defeated by ants doesn't deserve to even smell Thanos farts but because he looked like an evil smurf.
Great video! I just subbed - keep up the good work 👍
Bruh if they made TOM HOLLAND SPIDERMAN the Anchor Being of 616, Sony would strongarm the shit out of the MCU.
Ant Man defeated Kang, so a spider man trio wouldn't have any issues...
3 spiderman, a Wolverine, and Nick Cage's Ghostrider walk into a bar...
It’s an obligation that all upcoming movie spoilers should be leaked so we can properly choose how to waste our money.
I call BS. No one has ever heard of “anchor beings” until Deadpool & Wolverine came out. A movie Iger didn’t want made and Fiege tried to convince Hugh Jackman to not do.
Man. I would've really wanted to see Nick Cage's Ghost Rider once again in action. Those movies were SO COOL!
Just not under the current writing team.
I hope Johnathon majors gets a chance somewhere else he made the kang thing actually seem plausible
I think if they got a whole army of anchor people, instead of a little team, It may have worked.
I wish they made a more comic accurate animated story for kang with the dynasty still happening.
Imagine if Gwen Stacy was the anchor being for the TASM universe.
If you add The Hulk to Spidey, Ghost Rider and Wolverine then you’d have…The New Fantastic 4
I just wanted to have a well-written movie with unexpected plot twist, and not rely much on nostalgia

How could it be, with all MCU heroes fighting all Kangs from each Universe?
Only interested if Holland's next Spider-Man gives justice to Venom and fixes Hardy's abomination.
I think the idea of gathering anchor beings and protecting them maybe would make sense but having three Spider-Man does not make sense. It was great when it happened once but doing it again would be a cash grab and everyone would see through it
