Thanks again for another great kick ass prenatal workout! Currently 30 weeks and you're inspiring me to keep going and working hard through this pregnancy!
Great workout! I have recently had a lower back injury (herniated disc?) and have found I need to avoid spinal flexion. I’m super bummed about it and am praying that I heal quickly. The modifications offered for pregnancy work great! I was able to complete the workout with no pain!
Thanks for this! I noticed you didnt do the side splits/pile squat on the other side, was that intentional or forget ? I always get them to change sides, but do i need to? xx
Hi Jackie, my feet never lift as you can see I keep them flat on my platform so I didn’t need my strap. Yes these movements are 100% safe during pregnancy, by keeping my feet flat and hinging back into a long spine and not rounding my tummy. As I explain you want to engage your core and “hug your baby” with each hinge and make sure you not “doming” your belly. It’s a very slight hinge back, hope this was helpful! :)
@@homebodypilates thanks. I just thought the foot strap helps you feel more secure as you hinge back. I just wondered why you didn't use it. Because you aren't hinging back very far?
Please post more prenatal friendly reformer classes. Been scouring internet for them.
I definitely have a handful on my channel! 🤍

Why didn't you have your feet under the foot strap for short box abs? Is it ok during pregnancy to use foot strap?
