Yes I have made lemons & limes (rolling them in salt to get texture) with spent resin.. and various other beads like you did here. It’s so fun! Why waste it!?!! Great video as always ❤🌹🌹🌹
Oh I really like that idea! I love the bezels, they came out really cool looking! You always come up something interesting in your videos. I have to admit when I saw your video pop up I felt really pleased. I always enjoy your videos Steve. I always learn something new and it's no never dull. God bless you and yours. Have a great weekend!
Shalina @ Tea and art uses a product called resin clay. She molds and shapes it like clay but it's resin. She made a cup yesterday and it was beautiful. 😊
I stumbled on her site as well where she was doing the cup. Amazing. It is indeed for carving gel for nails and it is UV. I did get a small container and anxious to play with it. But neat to use the stuff that ends on the mat to let it rest and turn it into jewelry.
Steve your enthusiasm is infectious. I think that the bezels turn out great. Thank you for sharing all your ideas, I know its a lot of hard work for you but it is really appreciated.
4:09 there’s another resin artist that I used to watch (I’ve unsubscribed to her but if I remember correctly her channel is “pouring your heart out” or “pour your heart out” or something to that effect) pours her left overs resin on her mats and let’s it legal out to make little round disks that she later uses as the center for her resin flower pours.
Yup u got the name correct, she’s makes them for the center of her bloom coasters if she doesn’t find them acceptable😮😂 really the only thing she makes on her channel anymore! IMO is disappointing Cz @ 1 time she experimented with all sorts of ideas/techniques & shared her trial & error to help others not make those mistakes.
what an interesting result in the bezels! very pretty. I admit, I was skeptical when you were holding that blob stuck to your glove, you pulled it off! (no pun intended)
Can you use essential oils or something similar to give your creations a pleasant smell? Also, can you use polishing papers on the finished products to get a more glassy look?
I've seen candy pulling and it's incredible how it gets opaque and shiny with pulling. Do you think you could wait a bit longer and then pull to add air so it's not so sticky? If you can, then could you layer them as is done with candy, roll it, cut it, and let it cure? If so, you could open up a whole world of options like millefiori, or patterns that are made with fimo clay! I'd love to see you experiment with that! Glass work without glass! you could make beads and charms and presumably even structures if you can prop them well enough to cure properly. Easy enough to glue pieces together with UV resin. Oooohhhh ... so many possibilities!
Hi Steve - I’m very interested in your toolkit of mixing jugs and large mat but amazon always shows it as unavailable. Do you know when they will have more for sale please.
Hello. I am an iris photographer. I bought UV resin so that I could deliver my products to my customers quickly (maximum 30 minutes). However, the color of the photo changes within 1-2 weeks. What should I do to prevent this? Thank you in advance for your answer

BUT the downside to the resin clay is....PRICE!
@@stephie4ever I just looked it up. It's $8.99 for 50g.
@@stephie4ever she uses the carving gel for nails. It's a UV resin. It's not expensive.

@@ginalombardi2507 sounds fun. Make sure to put something on your gloves. I think she used Vaseline.

I use those tiny swabs for my gel extension nails! They work the best for cleaning up around the cuticle area!!

Cool and a good idea for leftover resin

Super nice idea for those bits of thickened resin❤
Thanks for another great idea😊

Fab idea Steve, thanks for sharing 😊😊
Lovely, Steve. Thanks for showing us. 👏🏻
Lovely! ❤ I'm wondering if it would work with UV resin 🤔
Your funny! "You probably don't want drill over your new cabochons" lol
Ooooohhh... I like this one!🎉🎉🎉
I wish you could do stuff like this with UV resin.
Hi Steve. I do t see the link for your kit. Can you please share the link? Thanks for everything you do
hi Steve can i ask if you can advise on a good resin to work with that doesn't go thick to quick please and thank you x
Hi Steve - I’m very interested in your toolkit of mixing jugs and large mat but amazon always shows it as unavailable. Do you know when they will have more for sale please.
Nah I've done it for a long time 😂 👌🏻👍🏻
I tried calligraphy ink but it seemed to yellow my resin but maybe I just did it wrong. I'd love to see if you get a different result
❤❤❤
Hi Steve. Do you sell your kit directly to? Still desperately trying Amazon 😢

Steve, great as always......victoria's resin also does this but uses WD-40(on her gloves) so she can mold like clay @victorias_resin
