This is an awesome tip/idea! I never would have thought about painting on the mould directly (I would have been afraid to stain it and never tested it out) I love how they turned out! So cool!

My pleasure, you can get lots of different colours, but with this basic set you can really mix all the colours. 😀

Wow amazing. I would not have thought of those paints onto moulds.
I got them to paint a model and just had to experiment with them with resin lol.

Thanks Steve very informative. One question: do you need to put resin on top to seal in the enamel?
I use these paints now on quite a few things where I haven’t sealed with resin.
I've never used enamel paints but now I'm itching to see if it would be possible to mix mica powder into them before painting the mold...
I’m wondering if it will transfer to an eco resin. I’m using Magic Pour casting powder from Let’s Resin, and would love to see you give it a try. It’s a very nice product.

Steve, I missed what the fluids is that you used to clean the brushes between colors? I don’t know what to use to clean up after enamel paints.

I checked the price, not too bad, basically $20 plus $7 shipping for that basic set
They also last a very very long time as a little goes a long way. 😀

No matter what you use mica powder, nail polish, or paint doesn't it come off since it's not imbedded in the resin & sitting on top?
The resin seal in and it becomes part of the piece so shouldn’t come off. Especially with the powders etc as the resin amalgamates with the product.
