1970 F-600 Saga: First Drive & Dump 2021

- I finally got the F-600 Dump Truck roadworthy enough to make a small "dump" of some trash, and to get filled up.
Found some more small issues that will need to be resolved, but nothing major.

i just came accross a old Dumper. like yours theDump Box was removed but the PTO is still functioning i’m told 360 motor BTW
Love old blue! Can you make a couple of cold starts of it and anything else carbureted you got with that view behind the wheel? It’s so cool! And I’d love to see the full cold start procedure
Honestly it starts better than my 7.3 IDI...
Definitely can make some more videos of it, etc though.

What’s the MPG for this truck?
My '83 F250 had a dump installed under the factory bed, had to raise the dump on that to fill it up as well
Yeah. I want to get a 45° elbow to make it so I can fill up without lifting the bed every time.
@@TheFSeries I ended up putting a flatbed on it a few years back, but that didn't end up helping any, still needed to raise it. Took the engine out to rebuild, it had a 351w in it, but the wife wants that rebuilt for her father's old 64.5 Mustang. So now I am trying to convince her I need my buddy's F600 like this one, but his has an inline 6. Maybe I will get lucky and she will say yes 😂
