Hi! I absolutely love creating logos in Adobe Illustrator. Good tutorial however maybe try being a little more specific and clear on the tools you are using? Would be helpful to a lot of beginners :)

also, for anyone having issues with illustrator cc 2018, here's a fix:
to remove the line of letter "A" you have to create that triangle shape just like he did and just before pressing "subtract front" from PathFinder, hold down the alt key then click on it, and problem solved.✔😄
omg thanks for your help.feel so crazy coz i use Ai 2022. first tried i did prest alt and minus front and didnt work. what i did was i hold down the alt key and right click on triangle then click the minus front ...omg makes me crazy to solve the problemmmmm
