I am new to this and photography 😉..Ioving the genre...so far my canon m50 with 15 to 45 kit lens and the 50mm 1.8 EF..a small bag..a rocket blower..wipes and 3 battery... lastly my mobile phone -poco nfc x3...,love your Vids I'm from Trinidad...a small island in the Caribbean
I don't shoot film anymore because I can't afford to buy and develop film, but when I did, I carried a Minolta XG7 with a 50mm f2. It was simple to use and let me shoot without worrying too much about exposure. Now I carry lx-100 because its small and light. Along with that I always bring three extra batteries, sunglasses, a baseball cap, and I always wear my boots if I'm on my feet all day. One thing I never bring is company. I found that I shoot more photos when I'm alone and therefore I get better photos.
@KingJvpes .... I noticed that the Canon camera in the flat lays and B roll isn't the SD1000, had you changed your mind after shooting the rest of the video. PS: I shoot a Yashica T4 / Ricoh FF1 or Olympus trip or Olympus Pen EE half frame when shooting (minimalist) analogue, and a Ricoh R8 / Canon S120 / Lumix GX880 + 14mm f1.7 (or a tiny 35-100 for long reach) / Lumix LX7 / Lumix TX90 when shooting digital ... Any combination of these wouldn't take up much space in any small bag, and offer all the range I need.
I normally pack light when ever I go out on any type of shoot. My bag of choice is the peak design v2 30L Sony a73 Sigma 85 1.4 Sigma 35 1.4 Small Bluetooth speaker Godox Ad 200 light And of course my 9mm sig p365XL
super sick video! My everyday carry is pretty similar! I usually dont go out just for shooting, but when Im on the way to uni or back I always have a camera in my pocket ready to shoot. I usually go with one film pns like canon autoboy 120 or yashica t4 and one digicam like sony cybershot 7.2, canon powershot A460/G2!
Shooting 28mm is such a pain the rear with most M mount bodies. Most don't have the frame lines, and of those that do have the frame lines most have a viewfinder magnification too high or have other major flaws. My favorite M mount body for 28mm used to be my Minolta CLE, but the camera died and it can't be repaired anymore (--> do not buy a CLE unless you're prepared to brick a grand). Probably the best M mount body for 28mm is the Leica M6 with the 0.58x viewfinder magnification (hard to find, very expensive). I went with a Hexar RF which offers a ton of other benefits over the M6 and has a good magnification for seeing the 28mm frame lines and a decent amount around it - even with glasses.
Have you ever thought about going to other cities in the Bay Area? Won't be as many people, but could be some interesting places to try out at least once.
Repping Utah! (I'm in SLC) Great vid. My every day carry is my phone, Lumix G7 (lightweight and versatile) or my trusty Canon 20d (50 dollar dslr that shoots like a champ to this day) Great vid! You got me wanting to hit up some thrift shops and pick up a pocket cam
I usually bring some joints for inspiration or to relieve anxiety, slow down. Smoking also helps me blend in. People don’t always notice the camera right away
Awesome video! Love the Zeiss wipes, I’m always fumbling with a spray and cloth. And the Canon digicam is so cool. I have a similar Canon PowerShot, it even has a Positive Film simulation mode!
@@lukecomeaux2442 The lens is still rangefinder coupled, so you can use the rangefinder to focus. However the Bessa does not have 28mm frame lines so you need to either guess your composition using the 35mm lines as a guide, or get a separate 28mm viewfinder.
why is your audio/ voice so low? I think you are recording at a lower volume than standard. I always have to increase my volume when I see your videos.
@@siamburning his audio is fine😂 you are one out of a thousand who thinks it's low, since this was 6 months ago I am assuming you think his audio is still low and not did anything to adjust the "issue"?

Where’s this hand grip from? 😮
That little black back is sick. I'm going to see if I can find something similar for those days that aren't dedicated to shooting. Great stuff bro!

Nice thoughts on EDC cameras! I love my Bessa R2A too. Am planning a trip to the UK next year and getting a lot of ideas from your chanel!

What about that other cannon point and shoot camera with 25x zoom?
E.d.c for me it's "Every SUNDAY Carry" 😅..only day i'm focused to try photography. And my X100V &Xpro3+35 f1.4 are those that i usually pic.
It's that a Canon 620?
EDC for me, outside of photography, always includes a pocket knife, earbuds, and a small flashlight.
I usually bring some joints for inspiration or to relieve anxiety, slow down. Smoking also helps me blend in. People don’t always notice the camera right away
Just ordered a molle bag after watching this. Itll house my SD1000 as well lol
I bring my SD1000 with me everywhere. I got mine for $20 at a second hand store and it's wild.
Awesome video bro...that camera is awesome and like the point and shoot u rolling with...keep up the good work
Super simple!
Really inspired by your work!
Golden Apple Watch is minimalist photographers setup? ;)
Using the whole of the viewfinder when using the 28mm might not work so well if you use glasses, like I do
Not the leather bag anymore .? :(

Hey! Do you know what model of canon you have that can simulate film?
@@77lukie Hi! I have a Canon Powershot sd780is. It has a positive film simulation mode for jpgs. Such a small and discreet camera. I love it.
That was wonderful 😊
Nice minimal street photography bag i dig it :d
Do you have to focus differently using the 28mm? I love that focal length but can’t use it with my bessa
Focusing is the same, it's the framing that's tricky.
@@Skux720 how so?

KJ.....The straps on the bag are called molly straps. It's a military term. Know your bags Bro.... :)
