Hey dude I love videos like these! I find with my lifts they have technical issues that I’m aware of, and yet I struggle to fix said issues. Having online content is awesome for people people such as myself who don’t have coaching/help and need to self teach. Please keep it up 🤙

I’ve noticed I feel slight soreness (no pain) in my lower back just above my glutes and realized I had had some bad form that was a very small change but makes a difference. Thanks for the help! Probably saving me thousands in future back surgeries if I kept that up. Was reaching for the bat too much and not complete hinging down to get it

This is exactly what I do now and I learned this from observing elite deadlifters. I noticed that they let their arms hang as long as possible and once I started doing that I got a lot stronger

I rarely EVER comment on TH-cam videos. But I feel morally obligated to let you know how much I appreciate your content. I have been training in the powerlifting style for about 1.5yrs. I competed once so far but have been working my ass off at this stuff and seeing great improvement. But I know I have so much more in me if I could become more technically proficient. With the COVID shutdown I built a solid garage gym so Ive been going through these major learning curves solo...I am able to analyze my videos and see where form breakdown occurs and where improvement is needed but I struggle with implementing said fixes. Thats where your videos come in...you do a great job explaining things in a way I can understand and remember next time I stand over the bar. That was a lot of words for someone who doesnt comment haha but I really wanted to thank you! Take care man!

I think that a good goal is to be able to execute the deadlift by pulling/push up, rather than back

Have been trying to absorb all of your deadlift content in the last few days. Love it thank you so much I feel I’m finally figuring out where I’ve gone wrong with sumo in the last few years of trying to figure it out.

Hey man! new sub here good channel!, Just a question about the bench. Do you reccommend arching your lower back to get your feet tight or be neutral in the lower back (with glutes tight) and focus purely on arching the upper back?

Your upper back won't be able to create much of an arch on its own. Your lower back will be a huge component of creating the arch.

It is incredibly more nuanced than that. Just try it and see if it feels good
