I think this video was centered around the manga, but the Shikamaru-centered episode of the anime when he doesn’t attend Asuma’s funeral and has that talk with his dad is one of my favorite anime episodes of all time. And this arc is one of my favorite anime/manga arcs of all time!
Kishimoto’s style to draw realistic face expressions, to make you feel very emotional for the characters. Especially the eyes!! I’m still waiting for somebody to make a video on it. 🥹
