      Wow thank you for the kind words🙏🏽 the black multicam has been my go to for a little bit now, although I e been experimenting with that whole “battle worn” finish for a couple months now. I’m comfortable enough to where I’m thinking about starting up a small cerakote side hustle🤙🏾

    I know I'm like a year late on this, but I gotta say, your review is very well made, and I appreciate how much attention you gave to the ergonomics and shootability. Pretty much 99% of all other guntubers go over basic stuff that everyone else already said. It's very relieving to find a detailed impression of how the gun handles in all of its areas. Once again, thanks for making such a great review!

      Aloha nō my friend! I really, really appreciate the feedback and the kind words. Thank you for checking out my video🤙🏾
      I have yet to produce my full review on the x95, but have been ONLY shooting this platform (aside from my TS12) over the past year to get adjusted as it is so different from an AR.
      Let me know if there is anything specific you think would be good to include or address in my full review and I’ll do my best to cover it!
      Again, thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a great weekend!
      Happy New Years🤙🏾🤙🏾🤙🏾

    • @highsped
      @highsped 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Of course man! All I can think of that you could go over for the full review is just to cover dissadsembly and where you would clean the rifle. It would also be interesting to see a direct comparison between an ar15 and the x95 and what's better or worse about both systems and what advantages one has in training (and in general) over the other. I'm also curious to see what sling setup works for you on the x95!
      I understand some things may not be possible, and I definitely don't want to pressure you to change anything if you have other things in mind, but these are just some ideas I'm throwing out if you really want them 🙂
      Happy New Years to you as well, and I hope you spend your time well this holiday season!

      @@trentf4891 What’s up my friend! Mahalo for checking out my video! So, YES one CAN change the ejection of the X95 to the opposite side, but not out of the box like the Tavor 7.
      I’m not sure if it’s a similar situation to the TS12 wherein up to its release it was promoted as being readily converted but due to certain issues changes had to be made making it less so.
      The X95 can be converted to left hand use, but the user needs to purchase a left handed bolt🤙🏾

      I think it’s an invaluable skill to be able to run your firearms ambidextrously. I think it might be a little easier to cross over for us lefties as we live in this right handed world and often have to do things on the other side.

      Good eye! I did install a different brass deflector which helps a ton; I get a little kiss every so often but I don’t notice it at all.
      The only time it’s noticeable is if I’m shooting under a car or barricade with the ejector facing upwards, at times the brass will fall back into the chamber and I have to clear the malfunction.

    Nice! Where did you get the brass deflector? When I shot mine leftie the first time, I didn't keep my face far enough back, and ejected cases nicked my chin. I've since moved further back. As you say, if things got real it's not important, but it is a distraction otherwise.

      The brass deflector comes from bullpup armory; it’s the brass deflector for the 300 blackout. I’d highly suggest this one over the 5.56 deflector as it works much better at sending the brass downwards.

      Aloha nō!
      Thanks for the pro tip! I’m still working on getting my deep-dive review on the X95 done, but I’ve been putting in a TON of range time with it, learning how it operates, it’s little quirks and everything else.
      As an instructor and someone who takes every opportunity I’m presented to introduce shooting and firearms to new people, I always leave my firearms set up for right handed users, even though I am primarily left handed when shooting long guns.
      The reason being the vast majority of students I get to instruct, or people I am able to shoot with are right handed, and I want to make the activity as easy and fun for them as possible.
      How long have you had your X95? I tried to flip my CH to see if maybe I could run two simultaneously, but my bolt wouldn’t move all the way backward when I had the CH on the right side of the firearm; I then assumed it was because the bolt was right eject only.
      Is there something I missed? Any help would be greatly appreciated, just to make me better and expand my knowledge.
      Have a great weekend and thanks again🤙🏾

      @@PeaK808 Aloha back! I've had my X95, chambered in 5.56, for 3 years. I like how I can have a rifle smaller than most pistol builds and SBRs and not get wrapped up in tax stamps or other hassles, like braces. I'm not a pro, I kinda just know what I know from being around other shooters. Regarding the idea of 2 CH on the X95, I called the resident experts over at Copper Custom, Tim over at the Military Arms Channel - MAC, owns that business and they do my smithing on Tavors. My man! Thanks for the info, but the X95 is similar to the TS12 in that In order for you to switch the side it ejects to, you need a left handed bolt which doesn’t come with the firearm upon purchase.
      Even though I’m a left handed long gunner, I keep my firearms set up for right handed operations as
      1.) most students or friends will be right handed
      2.). I am more likely to encounter a right handed firearm in the wild than I am a left handed one so I figure I should be learning how to run things that way.
      I was going to talk about this in the deep review but should have mentioned it here..
      I’ll still be picking one up when they become available so I can show how to do the conversion, if you know where I can find one please let me know!

      So kind of secret on the DL I have a T7 I haven’t shown on the channel yet because I want to close up shop on my TS12 and X95 vids first before I press on with in depth content of something new.
      When I first started messing with the T7, I immediately felt like it was the hotter older sister with a better personality to the X95. EVERYTHING about it is just better, with all of those features you expressed PLUS short throw ambidextrous safety and short stroke piston system.
      If only IWI had a T7 variant in 5.56....
      I also like the mag release on the SAR 21, but the AR style one on the existing X95 is alright, albeit not in the same position as an AR and, depending on what magazines you use, they don’t drop free on their own.

      @taxedtwodeath2887 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@PeaK808 I have only shot the X95. Personally the MDRX has a lot of desirable features that should be brought over to the X95. The SAR mag release actually fixes the issue if the X95 gets to muddy it can stop the bar that actuates the mag release and having both would give you an ergonomic option and a release built right into the mag well. I expect in the next decade we will see a new series of tavor from the ground up to make the barrel full free floating and an overallore reliable system instead of just an updated Tavor X95 V2 they mentioned needing to go ground up after the T7 couldn't get the 1MOA they were hoping for due to critical design philosophy of the rifle.
