When you went into formula position you should have left the back leg down to stop the back tilt when pushing the brake. They did make consideration for this and it is stable enough when the leg is used to prop in this way. Thanks for the insight and helping me decide what to shell out on next
I was also thinking the same thing. I own one of these (right hand drive country) and the quick release makes it super easy to get in and out of it. BUT, the video would have been less entertaining than watching a tall dude contort to get into the seat without using the quick release! LOL!

To mount your g29 gear shifter you need to remove the third clamp on underside of shifter, there are 4 tiny screws. It tells you this in instruction manual. Fits perfectly then.
I live in northern Italy, you know the situation. Now I race on a normal seat and after just an hour of driving my butt hurts. This would be great to race during quarantene! As I wrote under another video, people please stay home and drive your sim rather than going out, covid is a serious thing, learn from our mistakes!
i bought F-GT Lite before i saw this video. after using it now for 3 months, all your marks are spot on. i too felt it was a little flimsy as i was building it, but it's actually really solid once everything is set up. i would like to note in my experience, you will run into bunny hop issues from time to time in Formula position with non LC pedals if it's not on some sort of carpet/rug/mat. other than that i am really happy with the chair and my CSL elite setup. once the world returns to normal, i'll be looking into a more solid seat that can handle LC brakes.

A quick note on getting in and out of the cockpit. There is a release on the right-hand side of the wheel support that you can unclip, allowing the whole assembly to swivel on the left. and I'm guessing the sort of pedal lift issue should be solved in the F1 position if the bar in the back is lowered down to the ground. It doesnt look like it's supposed to be that high in that position. Otherwise, the seat is a clear pivot point.
At the moment I use my dad's old Logitech G25 on my desk and its pain to take of ad on for my study. I would really love to have a cockpit to keep my wheel and pedals on plus the added bonus of it being able to be stored with ease will help a lot as I am in a very small room. I am saving to upgrade my wheel which is taking ages as I'm only 16 don't have enough money yet so to get a rig would help me out a lot with saving my money. It would make my year to in this as it would be a purchase off my shoulders for the future. Keep up the Great work Will.
I really think the F-GT lite would be perfect for me. As a uni student who loves his hobby of sim racing and can’t really afford to spend to much on a rig this is more than ideal. I love sim racing and even today I am still using a desk mount setup. Plus I love boosted media 👍
I just got this Will..my very first Sim Cockpit..and love it!..Just a tip for anyone wanting to go into F1 mode..make sure you drop the back bar so it touches the floor..that way when you brake hard..you won't get so much reflex off the ground..
The F-GT would be a perfect addition for me since I play both GT and F1 and want to reach the highest possible immersion in both classes without having to have two rigs.
The FGt lite would be perfect for me as I I'm just getting started in Sim racing. I had to drop karting because of money issues but Ive seen eSports drivers continue their careers so it's my goal to hopefully start a career. Nice vid btw. Always great to watch Boosted after a long day
I love my sim racing & have been into all form of racing since I was 6 weeks old, the one draw back is the size of my rig which the wife hates when you have people over because she can't hide it. I am currently using a MDF/Ikea chair setup from OSR but it is big bulky and can't be hidden. The F-GT lite would be perfect for putting away quickly when having people over. Did you ever figure out how stable this was with Fanatec 2.5 base and v3 pedals. Looks attractive for price point and flexibility. Don't know if I justify moving to a full rig both in terms of space and money however I want the F1 style seating position :)

As a college student stuck in a 9x10’ apartment, this rig would allow me to use my new g29 Logitech wheel system, that I haven’t room for atm. As an avid F1 and gt fan, the multiple setups would allow me to play both games to the most immersion. Thank you for such an awesome review!
Haven't seen anything posted about the multiple leg and back setups. The F setup can be modified where you are up off the floor slightly. This in turn reduces or eliminates the lift and rock on hard brake applications. Manufacturer does not recommended DD setups as this is supposed to be portable. It is but nothing as portable as the Playseat Challenge, which is like a lawn chair, it's so much more sturdy and comfortable.
This cockpit would be perfect for me, I don’t have a lot of space and I am currently playing on a kitchen chair. This cockpit would be great for me! Was literally just talking with a buddy of mine about how we would both love a real racing simulator, because I made one out of wood as a mock up for size, which is now falling apart. Spent $60 on wood and screws and it's lasted a decent time but desperately in need of an upgrade and this would be excellent for the small space that I have in my games room.

I'm an aspiring sim racer of multiple games. I use a cheap computer desk from Walmart and a lawn chair and let me say that carpet is not my best friend. When I use my pedals hard it slides the desk forward when you dont have anything to Stop it, and my tv is on a wall. This rig would be perfect for stability and hopefully for streaming and video uploading as well. And not to mention to be consistent and competitive

I'm sure but now you've found the release to swing the wheel away to get in. Aaaaand folded the leg in the rear down to prevent the topping in the formula 1 position.
Yep I made another video showing the swivel once I figured out I needed to file it out to make it work. As for the rear support. It didn’t work for me as I couldn’t get it into an appropriate position.
The idea is a good one. It might make for a great childs Sim Rig if the sizing is right. Currently I have to change over my wheel and peddles on a rig I share with my Goblin, even though he demands my higher end hardware. I would be concerned with all that movement of the rig, and especially the rocking backwards under breaking. Though I like that in testing they have seen the wheel bar move and found a simple correction with that velcro strap. Sometimes simple works best.
I want the F-Gt like because I've been racing for 2 years with a wheel clamped to my desk. I'm moving into a smaller apartment soon and my desk won't fit in so I won't be able to race but something that folds like this would be amazing.
Hey! I mainly race F1 2019 in AOR, and I want to eventually make the Esports Draft when I'm old enough. I would love an F-GT Lite to get there because my current setup is a flimsy desk and wobbles, and my pedals never stay put. I recently purchased the F-GT cockpit. I use it in formula position and I absolutely love it. I did end up with a problem in the seat, I was going to sit down and used the seat back for some support and one of the corners on the bottom of the seat popped out of place. There was no fixing it as its a different type of locking bolt (it pops into place, doesnt screw in). Tried to contact Next Level Racing to no avail... But I would not trade it or return it even if i absolutely had to.
EDIT: I did receive an email from Next Level Racing but it got lost in the shuffle. They emailed back within I would say the 24hrs they say on their site. Sorry Next Level Racing and thank you for making the F-GT Cockpit 💯💯💯💯

Avid car enthusiast, F-1 2018 and 2019 player and fellow guitar player here, im about as good as I can get with a gamepad and im ready to have a more immersive experience. Ive been looking at sim rigs for a while but with the extras like the wheel base, steering wheel and pedals its kind of expensive and this would really help as a first step. Love your guitars man would be awesome to see some shredding sometime. 👍🏾
I reckon I’ve pushed my luck as far as possible with the wife by keeping my race dirt bike in the lounge room. With the F-GT Lite being foldable and as compact as it is, I may still have a chance to leave the Xbox hand controller behind and live out the true sim racer dream! 🙏
There’s a rig that I can’t find videos of anywhere. It’s on amazon and it’s the Vevor G920. It’s a fixed GT style seating position but it’s got all square metal tubing and I believe it comes with a triple monitor mount. I’m glad you did this review because I was looking at this one and I use the CSL pedals and a club sport 2.5 base
I'd love to get this for my dad. He's 72, and disabled. He used to be a truck driver, but now he just watches videos on TH-cam of driving, as he misses it so much. He generally doesn't have much to do in the day, as he isn't really mobile at all. I think he would absolutely love this, as it would allow him to feel like he's still able to do something he used to love.
I'm in simracing for about 2.5 years and I still have a very complicated and not really stable system with an old chair, a board and some weights(that it doesn't slip while braking) to be able to drive properly with my Logitec G29. But the reasons why I would really appreciate to get this cockpit are: at first, driving with my current setup is neither really comftable nor easy to "clean up", so it takes quite a bit of my desk, which isn't that helpfull when it comes to homework,... Also I'm only 16, and I don't have that much money to afford that cockpit, while saving for a Fanatec. Good Video btw, as ever ;-)

I’ve been sim racing for 3 years.. my son is 6 and loves anything cars/ racing.. my own home made rig is far too big for him.. The F-GT lite looks absolutely perfect and would be great to have him racing alongside me!
Do you think this can handle the Fanatec CSW 2.5 ? I am using the playseat challenge I should say still have some shaking on the wheel base but it is acceptable. but this one is looking more firm on the base plate, I really want to replace with this as my rental apartment is very small compare with you guys, I cannot place a fixed cockpit with that. I am always looking for a better portable solution may be one day I need to move my home to others!
Thanks for the review Will. I’d love to have the FGT Lite cockpit because my Dad moved 2 and half hours away. Right now I’m using a little amazon table and a beach chair to race. I could definitely make great use out of it because of its portability. Going back and forth between houses every week, the cockpit would help me tremendously and allow me to simrace more.

FYI... You don't have to climb in. Just unclamp the right side steering wheel bracket and it opens up. Very easy to get into an I am 255lbs. great chair so far.
I’d be super excited if I won this rig! It would replace my timber home made desk and allow me to pack up when I’m done(who’s ever done racing). It would be great to use and experience this rig, and it would be less obtrusive so the girlfriend might complain less about it
I have been racing on a desk with a chair that just isn't comfortable because of the height of the chair. my arms have to be really close to the wheel so my feet can comfortably reach the pedals. I also get pains in my back after about 20-30 minutes of racing. I would really love to get it and it would mean the world to me but if I don't congratulations to the winner.
This rig is perfect for me! Have limited room and travel quite a bit. This can be folded up and moved with ease. Also taken with me so I can get some laps in anywhere!
The storage capabilities is great especially for a college students living in halls like me... And I do spend quite a bit of time on sim, whether for racing or learning how to set a car up which helps in quite a big way for an automotive/mechanical engineering student like me. This means I would really like to have a rig. This should do the job really well.
I’d love to have a F-GT lite rig because I bought a fanatec csl kit for all my money I’ve been saving for a couple months (yea in Poland It’s a huge amount cuz we don’t earn a lot), and im sitting there wondering if I could make a stable connection between the pedals and chair, now it’s tightened up with some twine and it’s moving quite a lot. So a rig like that would definitely help and also great that you can fold it so fast since I haven’t got much space in my room. Btw love your vids, keep it up!

It looks like some strong adjustable straps, placed from the pedal mount up to the seat, similar to the one adding strength to the wheel bar would help eliminate the "Wheelie" issue. No?
That time lapse was really interesting. Reason why I would like to win this cockpit is because it gives me an excuse to start buying sim gear. I went to the Indy Speedway Museum and the simulator there makes me want to start buying/building a simulator so bad. Sim racing helps me understand a little how driver’s think and that knowledge will help with my goal of being a lead engineer for an INDYCAR team.
This would be absolutely perfect for me. My room is very small and while I do have a current sim rig, it takes up a ton of space, and the shaft to hold up the wheel legitimately gets in the way of my pedals. Having something with more rigidity and user-friendliness would be a dream come true.

I cannot use vr in my gaming room, and i cannot use my wheel pedals and shifter in the livingroom where i vr. The thought of finally racing in vr makes me very happy.
I would to love to own one of these cockpits is that I can use it when I go to friend's house and compete with them using this . They can also try it out as my friends are poor and doesn't have a rig. Although I know you have recommended me to buy the F-GT and I did, this would be the icing on the cake so that I can move this rig to play with friends. If I don't get chosen , it's fine . Just getting into Sim Racing. I have a Thrustmaster TX Wheel on order, and this would be amazing to pair it with over the desk I'm currently planning to use. Unfortunately, I can only make one purchase at a time. 1st = Wheel. 2nd = Shifter. 3rd = Cockpit. This would save me a ton of time and money!
Hey, great review! I’m looking for something that can fold up quickly and doesn’t take much space. Would you say that this rig is rigid enought for CSL DD with the boost kit (8nm)? I know you’ve said that it’s no for DD, but are there any more rigit alternetives that can fold up?
I have the Playseat challenge and plan on returning it. This could be just the right replacement. I need a folding cockpit due to limited space in the house
On the Nex-level website, it looks like that rear bar is supposed to be flush on the ground in the F1 position to prevent that wheelie. I'm curious how this compares to the playseat challenge. I'm just starting out and haven't tried either, but the playseat looks like it would be much easier to get in/out, but the NLR lite looks more comfortable, stiffer and adjustable.
If the playseat challenge is available in your area it seems like the much better option, far fewer failure points. As a playseat challenge owner this product doesn't do much in the way of making me want to upgrade oh and it accommodates my load cell pedals without impacting the rig.
The reason id like to win is because I’ve been into sim racing since a kid, F1 particularly is a huge passion of mine and this year I started working for an F1 team. But I still don’t have a cockpit when I get home to race in. Really like the reviews and videos!

Cause it's a pretty cool solution. ;) Can see a couple of revisions coming. Reckon a second strap from the diagonally opposite on the front bar the wheel mounts on to the front right hand lower bar (essentially straight down, and doesn't look like it would foul anything) and replace the pedal assembly attachment clamps with the same cam style clamps on the rest of the unit and 👍 just some thoughts. cheers. ps. your Amazon link just goes to Amazon US and has a $200 delivery charge to Aus. Tried with csl and csl pedals with load cell ... unfortunately if I break with much force everything goes up ... quality of the materials is not so good but overall it’s work ... for insert shifter plate i use force and lithium grass ...
Would be a massive upgrade from my current Next Level Wheel Stand Lite I believe it is, and Bathurst Racer chair from Officeworks that I currently use. And this would be awesome to try out some other racing games I want to try like GT Sport and Assetto Corsa as well as F1 racing games
Hi. I heard you give some advice on purchasing pedals, or a wheel base. And you’re advice was to upgrade pedals 1st. I have a logitec G920. is there pedals tvat I can purchase that will replace the LG 920’s original pedals? I broke my brake pedal spring, and wasted the rubber bushing.
I like your videos, very informative about products and racing basic tips. I mostly play GT Sport, and not very well, but I have fun. I finally decided to get a wheel and pedals (Thrustmaster 150) then realized I needed to put them on something. Got a Next level racing lite stand, which is ok except the wheel is mounted on the pole in the middle so you have to straddle it with your legs to reach the pedals. Now I just need a chair without wheels. I got some things to place on my desk chair wheels to stop them but I will get a more appropriate chair without wheels sometime soon. Anyway you do a good job, keep it up.
Like most others interested I super space constrained in my apartment and have to do a bit of rearranging every time I want to race to get my wheel stand and chair in front of the TV. I’ve got some back issues and my current setup is the most comfortable. I’m also interested to see how this would hold up with a CSW 2.5 and v3s and am a little hesitant to buy it based on your feedback about the v3s.
Sure, it’s not super sturdy (and having been playing around with aluminium profile these past 2 weeks that’s been an awesome learning experience) but this looks to be a good option for the space-conscious on a budget! (I’m not after a foladable cockpit so I’d suggest you don’t count this as an entry to the giveaway lol)

There’s a quick release on the wheel mount bar so you don’t have to crawl in to it.

I would love to win the F-GT Lite since I live with my cousins and there is not much space here, I have to move from this house to my parents' house every weekend and to do it with a bigger cockpit would be impossible, I want to improve my times and be more consistent in my F1 races

A quick note on getting in and out of the cockpit. There is a release on the right-hand side of the wheel support that you can unclip, allowing the whole assembly to swivel on the left. I figured it would have a type of release like the playseat challenge so that makes sense.
Does the rig have any noticeable shake especially on a more powerful wheel than the G920 such as the TSXW
I’ve only tested with the g920 so far.
and I'm guessing the sort of pedal lift issue should be solved in the F1 position if the bar in the back is lowered down to the ground. It doesnt look like it's supposed to be that high in that position. Otherwise, the seat is a clear pivot point.

At the moment I use my dad's old Logitech G25 on my desk and its pain to take of ad on for my study. I would really love to have a cockpit to keep my wheel and pedals on plus the added bonus of it being able to be stored with ease will help a lot as I am in a very small room. I am saving to upgrade my wheel which is taking ages as I'm only 16 don't have enough money yet so to get a rig would help me out a lot with saving my money. It would make my year to in this as it would be a purchase off my shoulders for the future. Keep up the Great work Will.
I really think the F-GT lite would be perfect for me. As a uni student who loves his hobby of sim racing and can’t really afford to spend to much on a rig this is more than ideal. I love sim racing and even today I am still using a desk mount setup. Plus I love boosted media 👍

I just got this Will..my very first Sim Cockpit..and love it!..Just a tip for anyone wanting to go into F1 mode..make sure you drop the back bar so it touches the floor..that way when you brake hard..you won't get so much reflex off the ground..
The F-GT would be a perfect addition for me since I play both GT and F1 and want to reach the highest possible immersion in both classes without having to have two rigs.
The FGt lite would be perfect for me as I I'm just getting started in Sim racing. I had to drop karting because of money issues but Ive seen eSports drivers continue their careers so it's my goal to hopefully start a career. Nice vid btw. Always great to watch Boosted after a long day
I love my sim racing & have been into all form of racing since I was 6 weeks old, the one draw back is the size of my rig which the wife hates when you have people over because she can't hide it.
I am currently using a MDF/Ikea chair setup from OSR but it is big bulky and can't be hidden. The F-GT lite would be perfect for putting away quickly when having people over.

Did you ever figure out how stable this was with Fanatec 2.5 base and v3 pedals. Looks attractive for price point and flexibility. Don't know if I justify moving to a full rig both in terms of space and money however I want the F1 style seating position :)

It would be great to win this because I live in small room in flat so I don´t have much space to buy normal racing cockpit and I want to try sim racing. Also would be great to race my brother in F1 or iRacing because karts in my city aren´t cheap and we can race only during summer. And another problem - there are no F-GT Lite available in my country (Czech republic). So this is my oportunity to get this.

As a college student stuck in a 9x10’ apartment, this rig would allow me to use my new g29 Logitech wheel system, that I haven’t room for atm. As an avid F1 and gt fan, the multiple setups would allow me to play both games to the most immersion. Thank you for such an awesome review!
Haven't seen anything posted about the multiple leg and back setups. The F setup can be modified where you are up off the floor slightly. This in turn reduces or eliminates the lift and rock on hard brake applications. Manufacturer does not recommended DD setups as this is supposed to be portable. It is but nothing as portable as the Playseat Challenge, which is like a lawn chair, it's so much more sturdy and comfortable.
This cockpit would be perfect for me, I don’t have a lot of space and I am currently playing on a kitchen chair. This cockpit would be great for me! My Mum has also been having cancer treatment (I am 14) and we haven’t been able to buy much stuff lately so I can’t afford a cockpit, hope to win the giveaway so I can have something comfortable to sit in while playing my favourite games!
This would be very useful in my small dorm. Currently using a plastic table and plastic chair. (Not the best setup to put in hours upon hours during this quarantine XD)

Was literally just talking with a buddy of mine about how we would both love a real racing simulator, because I made one out of wood as a mock up for size, which is now falling apart. Spent $60 on wood and screws and it's lasted a decent time but desperately in need of an upgrade and this would be excellent for the small space that I have in my games room.
Raced with a buddy for 13 years. He got too old for it and I couldn't afford to buy into it. Now7 years later I am in a position to get setup. I've got a list but this rig would change everything! I could get better wheel and pedals! Thanks for the review. I may just buy this rig anyway.
I'm an aspiring sim racer of multiple games. I use a cheap computer desk from Walmart and a lawn chair and let me say that carpet is not my best friend. When I use my pedals hard it slides the desk forward when you dont have anything to Stop it, and my tv is on a wall. This rig would be perfect for stability and hopefully for streaming and video uploading as well. And not to mention to be consistent and competitive

I'm sure but now you've found the release to swing the wheel away to get in. Aaaaand folded the leg in the rear down to prevent the topping in the formula 1 position.
Yep I made another video showing the swivel once I figured out I needed to file it out to make it work.
As for the rear support. It didn’t work for me as I couldn’t get it into an appropriate position.
The idea is a good one. It might make for a great childs Sim Rig if the sizing is right. Currently I have to change over my wheel and peddles on a rig I share with my Goblin, even though he demands my higher end hardware. I would be concerned with all that movement of the rig, and especially the rocking backwards under breaking. Though I like that in testing they have seen the wheel bar move and found a simple correction with that velcro strap. Sometimes simple works best.
I want the F-Gt like because I've been racing for 2 years with a wheel clamped to my desk. I'm moving into a smaller apartment soon and my desk won't fit in so I won't be able to race but something that folds like this would be amazing.
Hey! I mainly race F1 2019 in AOR, and I want to eventually make the Esports Draft when I'm old enough. I would love an F-GT Lite to get there because my current setup is a flimsy desk and wobbles, and my pedals never stay put. Also, sometimes I also do GT racing, so the changeable positions would be really nice. As always, love the vids!
I recently purchased the F-GT cockpit. I use it in formula position and I absolutely love it. I did end up with a problem in the seat, I was going to sit down and used the seat back for some support and one of the corners on the bottom of the seat popped out of place. There was no fixing it as its a different type of locking bolt (it pops into place, doesnt screw in). Tried to contact Next Level Racing to no avail... But I would not trade it or return it even if i absolutely had to.
EDIT: I did receive an email from Next Level Racing but it got lost in the shuffle. They emailed back within I would say the 24hrs they say on their site. Sorry Next Level Racing and thank you for making the F-GT Cockpit 💯💯💯💯
I just got into full sim games like pcars2 and assetto corsa. Playing on my dinning room chair had been a pain with my Thrustmaster wheel. I don’t have the budget to upgrade and this would be awesome for my setup. Thanks for your consideration!

Avid car enthusiast, F-1 2018 and 2019 player and fellow guitar player here, im about as good as I can get with a gamepad and im ready to have a more immersive experience. Ive been looking at sim rigs for a while but with the extras like the wheel base, steering wheel and pedals its kind of expensive and this would really help as a first step. Love your guitars man would be awesome to see some shredding sometime. 👍🏾
I reckon I’ve pushed my luck as far as possible with the wife by keeping my race dirt bike in the lounge room. With the F-GT Lite being foldable and as compact as it is, I may still have a chance to leave the Xbox hand controller behind and live out the true sim racer dream! 🙏
There’s a rig that I can’t find videos of anywhere. It’s on amazon and it’s the Vevor G920. It’s a fixed GT style seating position but it’s got all square metal tubing and I believe it comes with a triple monitor mount. I’m glad you did this review because I was looking at this one and I use the CSL pedals and a club sport 2.5 base
I'd love to get this for my dad. He's 72, and disabled. He used to be a truck driver, but now he just watches videos on TH-cam of driving, as he misses it so much. He generally doesn't have much to do in the day, as he isn't really mobile at all. I think he would absolutely love this, as it would allow him to feel like he's still able to do something he used to love.
I'm in simracing for about 2.5 years and I still have a very complicated and not really stable system with an old chair, a board and some weights(that it doesn't slip while braking) to be able to drive properly with my Logitec G29. But the reasons why I would really appreciate to get this cockpit are: at first, driving with my current setup is neither really comftable nor easy to "clean up", so it takes quite a bit of my desk, which isn't that helpfull when it comes to homework,... Also I'm only 16, and I don't have that much money to afford that cockpit, while saving for a Fanatec. Good Video btw, as ever ;-)

This will be a great addition for me as my desk and office chair setup is just so uncomfortable. The portability aspect also makes it ideal as space is limited.
I’ve been sim racing for 3 years.. my son is 6 and loves anything cars/ racing.. my own home made rig is far too big for him.. The F-GT lite looks absolutely perfect and would be great to have him racing alongside me!
Do you think this can handle the Fanatec CSW 2.5 ? I am using the playseat challenge I should say still have some shaking on the wheel base but it is acceptable. but this one is looking more firm on the base plate, I really want to replace with this as my rental apartment is very small compare with you guys, I cannot place a fixed cockpit with that. I am always looking for a better portable solution may be one day I need to move my home to others!
I think it would probably be ok. I certainly wouldn’t use it with a DD though.
Don’t listen about the breaking flexing the unit. If you have it in the lifted positing the 90 degree bend will prevent that.
Thanks for the review Will. I’d love to have the FGT Lite cockpit because my Dad moved 2 and half hours away. Right now I’m using a little amazon table and a beach chair to race. I could definitely make great use out of it because of its portability. Going back and forth between houses every week, the cockpit would help me tremendously and allow me to simrace more.

This makes me feel like i could lounge outside in the reclined rig, soaking up the rays while SIM racing.
FYI... You don't have to climb in. Just unclamp the right side steering wheel bracket and it opens up. Very easy to get into an I am 255lbs. great chair so far.

I’d be super excited if I won this rig! It would replace my timber home made desk and allow me to pack up when I’m done(who’s ever done racing). It would be great to use and experience this rig, and it would be less obtrusive so the girlfriend might complain less about it
I have been racing on a desk with a chair that just isn't comfortable because of the height of the chair. my arms have to be really close to the wheel so my feet can comfortably reach the pedals. I also get pains in my back after about 20-30 minutes of racing. I would really love to get it and it would mean the world to me but if I don't congratulations to the winner.
Looks awesome with the adjustable pedal angle but I feel like the playseat challenge would still be my choice. Love my Playseat challenge.
This rig is perfect for me! Have limited room and travel quite a bit. This can be folded up and moved with ease. Also taken with me so I can get some laps in anywhere!
The storage capabilities is great especially for a college students living in halls like me... And I do spend quite a bit of time on sim, whether for racing or learning how to set a car up which helps in quite a big way for an automotive/mechanical engineering student like me. This means I would really like to have a rig. This should do the job really well.
I’d love to have a F-GT lite rig because I bought a fanatec csl kit for all my money I’ve been saving for a couple months (yea in Poland It’s a huge amount cuz we don’t earn a lot), and im sitting there wondering if I could make a stable connection between the pedals and chair, now it’s tightened up with some twine and it’s moving quite a lot. So a rig like that would definitely help and also great that you can fold it so fast since I haven’t got much space in my room. Btw love your vids, keep it up!
I'd love to have this F-GT Lite....being in a 2 bedroom house with 6 people, we're limited on space. This would solve a few problems I have with the Mrs regarding 'her space' :D

It looks like some strong adjustable straps, placed from the pedal mount up to the seat, similar to the one adding strength to the wheel bar would help eliminate the "Wheelie" issue.

That time lapse was really interesting. Reason why I would like to win this cockpit is because it gives me an excuse to start buying sim gear. I went to the Indy Speedway Museum and the simulator there makes me want to start buying/building a simulator so bad. Sim racing helps me understand a little how driver’s think and that knowledge will help with my goal of being a lead engineer for an INDYCAR team.
This would be absolutely perfect for me. My room is very small and while I do have a current sim rig, it takes up a ton of space, and the shaft to hold up the wheel legitimately gets in the way of my pedals. Having something with more rigidity and user-friendliness would be a dream come true.

The f-gt lite would be perfect for me as at the moment using an office chair and a computer desk. Getting severe back and shoulder pain as im 6 foot tall and cant find the perfect position. Looking at doing the enduro races this year in iracing. Great review covered everything

I cannot use vr in my gaming room, and i cannot use my wheel pedals and shifter in the livingroom where i vr.
The thought of finally racing in vr makes me very happy.
I would to love to own one of these cockpits is that I can use it when I go to friend's house and compete with them using this . They can also try it out as my friends are poor and doesn't have a rig. Although I know you have recommended me to buy the F-GT and I did, this would be the icing on the cake so that I can move this rig to play with friends. If I don't get chosen , it's fine . When in the F1 position leave the rear bar touching the floor will give you more support.
I wasn’t able to adjust it into a position where the rear bar touched the floor. It was either too low or too high.
Just getting into Sim Racing. I have a Thrustmaster TX Wheel on order, and this would be amazing to pair it with over the desk I'm currently planning to use. Unfortunately, I can only make one purchase at a time. 1st = Wheel. 2nd = Shifter. 3rd = Cockpit. This would save me a ton of time and money!
Hey, great review! I’m looking for something that can fold up quickly and doesn’t take much space. Would you say that this rig is rigid enought for CSL DD with the boost kit (8nm)? I know you’ve said that it’s no for DD, but are there any more rigit alternetives that can fold up?

Hey mate, at the 8:47 position you didn't put the back brace down against the floor. That's why there was flex when pushing back.

On the Nex-level website, it looks like that rear bar is supposed to be flush on the ground in the F1 position to prevent that wheelie. I'm curious how this compares to the playseat challenge. I'm just starting out and haven't tried either, but the playseat looks like it would be much easier to get in/out, but the NLR lite looks more comfortable, stiffer and adjustable.
If the playseat challenge is available in your area it seems like the much better option, far fewer failure points. As a playseat challenge owner this product doesn't do much in the way of making me want to upgrade oh and it accommodates my load cell pedals without impacting the rig.
The reason id like to win is because I’ve been into sim racing since a kid, F1 particularly is a huge passion of mine and this year I started working for an F1 team. But I still don’t have a cockpit when I get home to race in. Really like the reviews and videos!

Great videos for people who really thinking of buying this. However, my question is does the Shifter plate only designed at the left hand side of the driver ??? Or we can attach it to both right hand & left hand as per our requirement ??

Can see a couple of revisions coming. Reckon a second strap from the diagonally opposite on the front bar the wheel mounts on to the front right hand lower bar (essentially straight down, and doesn't look like it would foul anything) and replace the pedal assembly attachment clamps with the same cam style clamps on the rest of the unit and 👍

Tried with csl and csl pedals with load cell ... unfortunately if I break with much force everything goes up ... quality of the materials is not so good but overall it’s work ... for insert shifter plate i use force and lithium grass ...
Would be a massive upgrade from my current Next Level Wheel Stand Lite I believe it is, and Bathurst Racer chair from Officeworks that I currently use. And this would be awesome to try out some other racing games I want to try like GT Sport and Assetto Corsa as well as F1 racing games

Hi. I heard you give some advice on purchasing pedals, or a wheel base. And you’re advice was to upgrade pedals 1st. I have a logitec G920. is there pedals tvat I can purchase that will replace the LG 920’s original pedals? I broke my brake pedal spring, and wasted the rubber bushing.
I like your videos, very informative about products and racing basic tips. I mostly play GT Sport, and not very well, but I have fun.
I finally decided to get a wheel and pedals (Thrustmaster 150) then realized I needed to put them on something. Got a Next level racing lite stand, which is ok except the wheel is mounted on the pole in the middle so you have to straddle it with your legs to reach the pedals. Now I just need a chair without wheels. I got some things to place on my desk chair wheels to stop them but I will get a more appropriate chair without wheels sometime soon. Anyway you do a good job, keep it up.
Like most others interested I super space constrained in my apartment and have to do a bit of rearranging every time I want to race to get my wheel stand and chair in front of the TV. I’ve got some back issues and my current setup is the most comfortable. I’m also interested to see how this would hold up with a CSW 2.5 and v3s and am a little hesitant to buy it based on your feedback about the v3s.
Sure, it’s not super sturdy (and having been playing around with aluminium profile these past 2 weeks that’s been an awesome learning experience) but this looks to be a good option for the space-conscious on a budget! (I’m not after a foladable cockpit so I’d suggest you don’t count this as an entry to the giveaway lol)
I believe the rear legs are supposed to be used as a kickstand in F1 mode. This way the rig won’t do a wheelie on you.
I wasn’t able to get the legs into a suitable position. They either didn’t touch the ground or they elevated the chair and introduced a tonne of flex.
