I just watched the movie on his life and I am so thrilled that he met his beautiful life for if it was not for her he may be still in his very ordinary life. I'm an ex roadie of over 40 years for Mötorhead, many years and others but all heavy metal rock and roll bands. I freely admit I did cry. Wept fucking buckets. Kept thinking of my late old man, he was an ex USM and he also loved opera. This was one of his favourite pieces. Sempre Fi 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤜🏻🤛🏻

very few times have i been so happy for someone that i don't know, someone you could say is a stranger to me, his story brings me happiness and i am very thrilled and excited to know that this man actually reached his dream and he seems so very happy to live it, he truly enjoys it, congratulations
No matter how many times I watch this I am blown away by the powerful performance of Nessun Dorma. And the added thrill of the more powerful ending just enhances the thrill. I know, I know nothing about opera and really never cared to know. But Paul made this possible for me, that I would find sheer passion and love for a world I knew nothing about. For that Paul deserves much credit. If he brought opera to "every man" that deserves a whole lot of credit. Just love it and wish Paul well in 2015.
When I see this, I notice that there are many other talented people supporting him. It was very nice to see his appreciation for the singers and orchestra, as well. He hasn't lost his humility. You don't see that trait much these days.
You can't help but be happy for this man. Playing before the Queen of England. How awesome is that? Susan Boyle got the attention of these talented people in Britain, and its a blessing to have heard and saw them perform, even if its from across the Atlantic Ocean. Britain does have talent! WOW! 2 million CDS? DOUBLE PLATINUM! THATS HUGE SUCCESS!

Everytime I listen to this I get Goose Bumps! My entire body reacts to this music lol, it's just so emotional and so deep! I love all kinds of music, but it's the first Opera song I actually enjoyed. Then you also had Amira Willighagen winning holands got talent aged 9 self taught opera singer who has like Paul gone on to greater career singing now i believe 15yrs of age and Laura Bretan who has won endless talent shows around the world look up these other singers of very good opera. Finally you have just a fabulous young lady who is taking Czech republic in Ostrava by storm is Patricia Janekova we are all lucky to be able to listen to all of these wonderful performances from them either live or via TH-cam.
BRAVO! That man was born to sing opera, and thank God the world didn't miss out on the honor of hearing such incredible talent. Celebrities are people from every walk of life - from mobile phone salesmen to ex-convicts to coal miners daughters - and they got where they are because the right person had the opportunity to witness their talent.
Pavarotti's size also helped his singing. When he lost weight his voice broke on a high note. He was the best. Paul Potts obviously didn't have any advantages to help his career, but his life story is as inspiring as his voice.
I always found that Pavarotti pushed his voice. It was well known in the opera world that Placido Domingo was the better of the two. Pavarotti was jealous of the younger, very handsome Domingo. Pavarotti was quoted as saying that “I’ve never heard Placido Domingo sing well.” That sums his jealousy up.
I don't know how you can say that his voice isn't strong... He might not be of the quality of the Three Tenors, but it's still an really powerful voice. Also, according to an interview, he has had opera training, but the lessons were all payed by himself.

I've been to see a few up West in London since and just like you I can't understand a bloody word of it but I know I feel better for being part of the event as an audience member.
