it's creepy when you take it in the context of reflecting it to reality but it's funny (at least to me) when you take it in the context of a comedy show that is glee
It's such a shame that the writers had no idea what to do with Terri. She was a great comic foil to the "straight man" Will, but they ruined her and gave her little to no redeeming qualities (at least as far as the perception of much of the audience is concerned). She was billed as a series regular in season 2, but the writers had already forgotten about her after Sectionals, and it just seemed like they forgot to take her off the payroll come season 2. I was so disappointed by the complete lack of screentime that she got in season 2, where she only appeared in SIX out of 22 episodes (and in one of those episodes, her only appearance was mere seconds in duration for a throwaway cutaway gag that wasn't even clever or funny). When she slept with Will in S2E07, it seemed like they were building to Terri really falling pregnant and turning Will's life upside down again, especially when they alluded to something more when she swore that he would regret blowing her off, but sadly, nothing eventuated. Whether that was an arc that was scrapped or whether the writers simply didn't know what to do with a scorned ex-wife, they made a mistake in ditching her (and Lauren Zises). The quality of the show was already going downhill after Sectionals, but it well and truly fell off a cliff in season 3 and became little more than a vehicle to parrot stupid rhetoric from season 4 on.
Terri was one of my favourite characters. Idc. She was so iconic and it made it difficult to hate her actions towards Will when you hated Will more 🤷🏻♂️
so when emma had a crush on will terri was threatened by her and was a bitch to her but when rachel falls for will she takes advantage of her and sits back and enjoys the show terris fucking insane
You know, Terri is one to complain that she is so frustrated that Will’s students have crushes on him, she might be right to be angry about it, but she’s a hypocrite to accuse Will like it’s his fault for Rachel having a crush on him, especially because she was taking advantage of Quinn Fabray because she was pregnant and she wanted her baby and even here by taking advantage of Rachel’s crush on Will to turn her into a slave and do all the cooking and cleaning for her,.
Well, if Terri's worried about Will ending up with one of his students (which is creepy by the way), wouldn't she think that having one in her house that has a _crush_ on Will increase her dread to come true? Also, if I were Will, divorced with Terri, and Rachel was her own portrayer's age (23), I would've gone out with her. She's cute, and you can date a girl who's at least 19 when you're in your thirties, I think.
I read their ages; they're 8 years apart, and she was old enough to date him. Would it have been legal if she had been 18, 13 years apart? 18 is the legal (and beginning) adult age, but even to *_dating_* older people, from mid twenties to early thirties?
@@samanthachin488 She only dated Matthew briefly. Cory was way more serious. I think you're right, that they were engaged when he died but not certain.
You're probably influenced by current opinion of him. The fact is, Matthew Morrison was a popular and Tony-nominated Broadway actor before starring on *Glee.* Many of us youngsters who followed musical theater had a crush on him. That is why he landed the role of 'Will Schuester,' which earned him Golden Globe and Emmy nominations. However, newer fans of the show have been on a mission to demonize the character, for some reason. It's bizarre. No one thought that 'Will' was ugly or creepy when *Glee* first debuted.
@@musicaltheatergeek79 I wasn’t talking about Matthew Morrison. I was talking about Will. Like he did Toxic by brittany Spears with his students. He was twerking with his students in s5 and a song he sang in s1 was just creepy and shouldn’t be singing to his students
I wish I did this to my high school male teacher crush. He was married but I definitely would have loved to go to his home and cook and clean for him and his wife and kids if he had any. I loved this episode for that reason. 💕
you know it's about to be intense or weird when you hear that specific background music
em luvs evan hansen yep lol
emilie elisa LMAO YES
LOL YESSSSS. I miss that music! Kinda sucks how they stopped using it in the later seasons.
@@VideosOfRandomContext IKR it was so nostalgic to season 1 and 2
I wish they kept it untill s6 hahaha
“Can you ask her to dust the blinds in the craft room first!” 😂😂😂
This is one of the funniest scenes that Glee has ever had in an episode
When you know the real reason Terri won't show him her belly😮
Yeah. Speaking of immoral
she is so young! and when she smiled she looked like she did in spring awakening. so cute
0:29 the look of fear in his eyes
Terri’s character is so iconic and so underrated.
This is episode is kind of funny when you know that Matthew Morrison and Lea Michele actually dated before they starred in Glee.
And now its weird
WTH really???
WHATTTTT
MadamPluto WHAT
What?
I love this episode and this hilarious scene particularly. Rachel can be so creepy. Lol.
I love that intense background music. Always made scenes better. Sucks that they stopped using it after season 2-3 ish
Just another reason why the later seasons sucked.
Ballad is an underrated episode.
3 seasons later, Rachel burns the kitchen
Yessss
Will's reaction as soon as he hears Rachel's voice is priceless 😂
I've been looking for this comment lol
Aw, sweet times when Rachel was in love with Will
That is not sweet
it's creepy when you take it in the context of reflecting it to reality but it's funny (at least to me) when you take it in the context of a comedy show that is glee
nah cause terri was onto something when she was making rachel do house chores 😌💅
queen behavior 😌
Any scream queens fans seeing a parallel to HESTER In this scene?
emrocks5678 oh yeah, I forgot Lea played Hester
I do now. 😂
Andy Dawn Hester was the best character on the show
I love Terri😂

I find it funny terri just accepting it not treating her like Suzie pepper. So just like f% it I am getting something out of it.
Rachel offered to clean her apartment and didn’t call her husband while they were sleeping.

She knew Rachel wasn't a threat tho
Thats no where near the same thing. Rachels a minor and its a school girl crush, Emma is a grown adult and actually is a threat to her
“In the linen closet sweetie”
Geez, here i thought Sikowitz had some weird dynamic with his students.
😭
Haha Mr. Shue's reaction to Rachel being there!!! 😂😂
you're doing an amazing job! ❤
