      Sure your English vocabulary is more intense use it correctly before calling the sites ugly 😡 disgusted by your words !! You’re are so disrespectful and ignore the meaning of the SITE !! Shame on you!! 3:24 3:43 not once or twice and sarcastically saying how beautifully oh please 🙄… go back where you come from if you are going to behave like that in such sites 😡

    Tears started coming down when you said "it's clawing it's way to a better future" my country has suffered a lot, we're so happy things are taking a turn for the better. I visited after 20 years and I was pleasantly surprised by the kindness of all salvadoreans after all they've been through. El Salvador it's a small country, but like they say good things come in small packages. Reasons to visit: people are friendly and kind, you can explore multiple places 🏖🌄🏙 in one day, we have delicious food (don't forget to try pupusas 🫓)

    Actually, some people are surprised at how expensive certain things are here in El Salvador, and then you understand why it is difficult for some people to make ends meet. We have to spend smartly, but there are good places that one can visit with a low budget, and pupusas are always the best choice for eating everywhere because there are delicious and cheap.

    A few of my friends from Australia have been here in El Salvador since late last year and they were just in La Libertad. I told them it’s not worth visiting because we don’t compare with the rest of Central America tourists wise but they came anyway haha. Safe travels.

    I am sorry that you are not familiar with the way we do business in El Salvador. you got to always bargain, people will always give you the high end of the price because your not from around there, always ask for the lowest price that you can get. Trust me, they will lower their prices. Except in high end hotels or supermarkets, those places are expensive no matter what. Hopefully this helps with your travel through my small little country.

    In El Salvador you can find accomodations for cheaper price, that's what happened when a certain place gets really hype when it gets so many tourists but the difference it's that if you go to California Miami places very very known it gets expensive because of the same reason las time that I was in Miami I bought a beer and a Cuban torta almost 40 dollars for that it is extremely expensive just for that I think it's the same if you go to Sidney there is lot of places to go in El Salvador for example la union San Vicente they have many beautiful places and you'll find better options for you budget just got to do some more research while you there

    • @amie.everywhere
      @amie.everywhere  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yes I agree. Another reason why my accommodation may have been a bit expensive in El Tunco is that I booked late notice. There seemed to be a great selection of hostels, but they were all booked out.

      Wow, I wish I had known this when I made the video. It seems as if I fed into the medias misrepresentation. Hopefully when I get back to El Salvador I can rectify this. Thanks so much for watching!

    Great video. If you want to keep growing your chanel, come back as soon as possible. Many youtubers try it before and works with a serie of videos about the country and left with a considerable amount of followers

    It's look like you weren't lucky enough for taxi fee. I usually go by Uber and pay about $7 average for 20 minutes ride.

      It was from El Zunsal to El Tunco (when it was high tide) and there was no Ubers around. The hotel quoted me $20 and said that was the going rate for taxis. I thought it was pretty expensive. $7 sounds much more realistic.

    No se aprovechen de los turista o perderan clientes,porque entre los turistas se pasan la voz ,sean razonables con los precios o nunca los llamaran los turistas otra vez.

    my country doesn't have any gang violence anymore...its the safest country in america,the comment you made about wondering too far away from the mercado it s quite exaggerated...

    • @amie.everywhere
      @amie.everywhere  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks for watching the vlog. I was told by multiple friends (locals) to be very careful in the markets. My driver actually took me to the top of a near by carpark to have a better view of the markets and pointed out the "safe zones". All I can vlog about is my own experiences, but I appreciate your comment. And I'm so happy that El Salvador is making its way onto more tourist bucketlists.

    Hi, I am from El Salvador and I am telling you that the private guy driver exceeded the price for 2 days, at least $160.00 for 2 days is fair he scam you, en even you can find way cheaper transportation, better look for a tourist guy, even me I can be your guide for free only for practice English.

    • @amie.everywhere

      Yes I thought it was a bit expensive, but I did have trouble trying to find a driver to take us around San Salvador, then up to Ataco, then to El Tunco. I googled private drivers and also asked at my hotel but I couldn't get anything cheaper than $250. It would have been great to find a website of private drivers willing to take tourists around El Salvador. It's a great business idea.
