Hey I'm Amie,
I am a full-time nomad who eats too much, talks too much and travels too much. Join me as I traverse the world!
I get my nerd on when I see anything older than 200 years.
I embarrass my travel companions because I get way too excited over the littlest of things.
I get on the verge of a panic attack every time I fly my drone.
I see something that I know will probably give me food poisoning, but eat it anyway because I love food.
I'm a stickler when it comes to $$$, but I'll happily spend a whole paycheck on my friend's dog.
I think some of the best things in the world are travel (duh), clean sheets, Mum's hugs, and unexpected beauty.
I get really nervous when I have to talk about myself in description boxes and always end up oversharing.
My channel is all about how much it costs to travel the world, so join me on my adventures where I am completely price-transparent.

What To Do In Wadi Rum | Desert Travel Guide | Road Trip Through Jordan
Discovering Wadi Rum by 4x4 and staying at a Bedouin camp was such an incredible adventure that felt totally other-worldly. Cruising through the canyons and giant rock formations of the red desert and watching the sunset over “Mars” is a once-in-a-lifetime experience!
My road trip through Jordan has sadly come to an end. The last few days exploring Amman, Jerash, The Dead Sea, canyonning Wadi Mujib and traversing Wadi Rum, has been an absolutely unforgettable adventure. Make sure you check out my previous vlogs for more Jordan content.

Does anyone know if Koh Lanta's version of the 'tuktuk' is available to rent? In the video at the 13:38 mark, it looks to me that a tourist is operating the tuktuk with a group of friends... can't seem to find this option with the recommended Lanta Sky operator. Thanks!
You are very right Beautiful island, beautiful people, everything is perfect
That’s would be great if I could know the prices
Cool 😊💪
...If you think Ko Lanta beaches are quiet, did you check out the Raja Ampat islands, and Komodo islands, of Indonesia? If you love adventure and going off-the-beaten track I definitely suggest you check it out! Waigeo, Batanta and Salawati, as well as Misool is the picture of paradise, this is Raja Ampat. About Komodo islands, Alor island, Flores and Sumba together with Komodo National Park is stunning! Ko Lanta is an amazing place to feel like at home away from home, its just the perfect balance between infrastructure and laid-back isolation but it used to be more adventurous place back then I believe. Its an amazing place for long stays but for me I go for rougher areas if I am looking for adventure. For comfort and long stays definitely Ko Lanta. Btw you look amazing and I can't wait to be back to get that perfect tan. Happy travels to the Philippines if that is where you are going next.
Ironically since this was uploaded certain citizens of the islands are demonstrating against tourists.
You make beautiful videos. ❤ It starts my fire for travelling again 🙏
A great video! Thank you :)
Glad you liked it!
For the private car/taxi, it should be about 1500 baht, no more than 2000 and as a little as 1200
I spent a few enjoyable months on Koh Lanta. Many tourists crashed motorbikes, because inexperience & bad road conditions: sharp turns, thick gravel on road, deeply rutted pavement.
Yep - it's fairly dangerous if you're not experienced on a scooter. And if you're not licensed and have an accident, your travel insurance won't cover the medical bills.

Hi Amie, I’m going in May in Ko Lanta in May but I wonder how the weather is. I’m afraid if the rain impacting my trip so wonder if I should start of in Lanta.
May is the start of rainy season - so there is a good chance that the rain will impact your travel plans.
Hey Amie! I hope you don't stop making videos because this was seriously amazing! 😍 ~ Adriana @NateAndAdriana
What camera do you use to film underwater?
GoPro 10
Thank you for sharing your beautiful adventure 😊 Did you get sick from water or food while you were there? I’m going to visit in a few weeks and I’m wondering if I need to be extra careful.
I brushed my teeth with tap water just incase. But I ate plenty of pupusas, fruit and juices from street/market stalls and never got sick. I hope you have a great time!
Hi there Just watched your vlog. We are from Australia and planning a trip to Thailand with our three kids 17,15,10. We are going to stay at club med Phuket ( it’s so against my ideal place ) for all the inclusive activities to give my husband and I break. But really want a place to go as well to give them some traditional restaurant huts on the beach type thing, snorkeling , markets etc. This looks perfect. I think it was on my list like 20 years ago. Does anyone have any tips / activities they would recommend for teens? Thinking maybe 4-5 nights then the same in Phuket
There is an elephant and tiger sanctuary in Phuket and there are jet skiing tours around the islands from Phuket. Go to Koh Phi Phi Don for busy island. You can go see Koh Phi Phi Leh there too,
Definitely snorkelling! It's some of the best I've ever done.
Thank you so much
Amazing video. You are gorgeous
Love ya vlog going there in August in the lie season so hopefully we get some good weather..would love to do the snorkeling keep up the great vids x
Thanks so much for the kind words. I hope you have a great time!
Hello from Russia and thank you for the video! ) what is the name of your hotel?
Beautiful ❤Thanks for sharing this video.
My pleasure 😊
I totally get how you were hooked on Lanta, it's a paradise for me. I stayed at Sayang Beach resort about 10mins by taxi bike from Sala'dan. Amazing beach, amazing people, amazing food, and sunsets to die for. What's not to Love. It puts the UK to shame.
Is Malapascau in Bantayan?
No. You'll need catch a ferry from Santa Fe (on Bantayan) back to Hagnaya Port on Cebu island, then take a tricycle to Bogo city (60php) and catch a bus to Maya Port from there (they leave about every hour). Once at Maya Port, catch a boat to Malapascua. If you start at 9am, you'll get to Malapascua around 4pm.
👍
Great Vid
Thank you!
Thank you for this video. Could you please breakdown the costs of the treatments. I'm especially interested in the botox and fillers
I don't have a breakdown of the prices sorry, but if you WhatsApp the clinic, they will be able to supply you with prices.
Pascua = Easter, Navidad = Christmas
Cebuanos have a different 'pascua' meaning, so it is a bit confusing but it indeed means Bad Chrsitmas
@@amie.everywhere I am sorry, this was very ignorant of me.
Super paradis🎉
Yes yes ❤
You did a great job in this vid describing Malapascua and the island. I especially related to how you talked of exploring it and walking through the neighborhoods. I visited for 22 days in April of ‘22 and would run in the morning as it would go from dark to sunrise….beautiful!! But it was amazing how I could get lost on such a tiny island.😅the “infrastructure” of the narrow paths added to the quaintness of the place! Plus , I can get lost in my own house 😂..thx for a great vid!!
Thanks so much for watching and your lovely words. There's nothing better than getting lost when discovering a new place 😊
Looks really stunning
It really is 😊
Might have something to do with the volcano…
Perhaps 😊
Hi I’m sorry I didn’t catch the name of the cottages you stayed at? Thank you
just been to malapascua island last week, march 9, 2024.. and it really is one great island to visit! you can also try Guanna's place for a more affordable stay in, and the food is really great! i missed chicken pesto and their pizza and coffee and the people is really kind. Hope more of your viewers can experience malapascua island too! such an experience!!!
Thanks for watching. I'll have to try Guanna's place the next time I go!
very informative, thanks
Glad it was helpful!
Hi Amie. I enjoyed your video. It was insightful and very informative especially for first timers planning to visit the island. Enjoy your future trips!
Thanks so much for watching. I'm glad to help 😊
Love your video very informative. Thank you!
Thanks for watching!
Hey Amie, Last time I was in Ko Lanta was late 2004, actually proposed to my wife there! Was thinking of going back with friends, and was hoping that it hadn't lost the chilled vibe that it had back then. Looks like it is still nice and chilled out. Thanks for the vid. New Subscriber from the Sunny Coast.
Thanks so much! Definitely much more chilled than the other Thai Islands.
Amazing video Amie. Thank you for the information. Love your channel
You are so welcome!
Thank you so much for making such an informative video! We are about to fly to Cebu and have just considered Malapascua! We will definitely try your recommendations during our week-long stay! ✌🏼✨
My pleasure! Have fun!
Thank you! A little update about the resort in the south where you loved Chicken Adobo and Mango float : it has closed 🤷🏻♀️

It's one of the best chillaxed vlogs we've seen. We are headed there in April-May to dive, this authentic video has actually made us looking forward to staying for a full week now. Very Cool.
Thanks so much. I hope you have a great time!
Great video Amie 😊 Thank you. On my bucket list for sure so will re watch this in future. By the way, this isn't the only place to dive with Threshers, but I believe is one of the best. Look forward to more of your content.
Thanks so much for watching! Where is the other places to dive with Thresher Sharks? I'd LOVE to go!
@@amie.everywhere was my pleasure. I have recently returned from Fuvahmulah in the Maldives where I dived with 6 Threshers and dozens of Tigers. A must do if you love Threshers, Tigers or SCUBA. In fact your video reminded me of my holiday so thanks 😃 I am keen to go back to the Maldives. Have you been?
I went to the Maldives in November. It was incredible! I had no idea about the Thresher sharks - makes for a great excuse to go back!
@@amie.everywhere wow, I was there for the whole month of November also. Looking to return next year. 💙🦈🙂
Hiya, Amie! Like the others here, your vlogs are far superior to any other. Your natural charm, and fuss-free, honesty, just draws you in. Sadly, I'm one of those "old farts" that you briefly referred to, LOL, I'm 55, going on 30. I've been traveling the globe for decades, alone, primarily because I'm single, and my friends are either married, still have kids at home, or don't have the means to travel at leisure. I'm heading from Los Angeles to Koh Santa, for 6 nights, and then flying back to BKK to fly to Bali for 6 nights. Your style of travel is identical to my own, and I'm wondering if you have any suggestions for Bali, if you've been. Anyway, if you haven't already been approached to do professional travel shows, you should be. Give Condé Nast a ring. :)
Thanks so much for your kind words! I really appreciate it. I lived in Bali for 4 years so I'm happy to help. I can advise to stay away from Canggu, Seminyak and Kuta - they are very built up and the traffic is awful. I really like Amed. Ubud is busy but it's the cultural and spiritual heart of Bali, so worth checking out. Sanur is nice too. One of my favourite places in Bali is Nusa Lembongan. You'll need to catch a boat there - I think it's about an hour long. I spend most of my time on Gili Trawangan. The snorkelling and diving is incredible, but the journey there is fairly taxing. Please let em know if you have any more questions 😊

I wasn't worried about them. There were a few around but I'm not sure if they sting.
