Deepak sachdev bro even 350cc dosent gives that much mileage. My 350 gives around 37. 500 cc gives around 25 kmpl only. Dont fool everyone here. How much money RE gave you??
Hi Dhrupad. how much power difference is practically there between TB 350 and 500 ? I plan to buy one of these for 25km commute to and fro from my office. I generally ride/drive at 55-60 kmph. Please share your suggestion
rohit nayak i personally own a classic 500 cc and i never touch a 350cc beacuse i am not intrested in slow riding and 350cc re s are carburetor ones. The are good, cheap to maintain and reliable. If you are buying for commuting purpose 350 cc will be more preferable. But if you are a tapori like me who likes to beat the shit out of 125-200cc commuter bikes rolling out or if you or is a biker at heart then your heart will never satisfy for a mere 19.8 bhp 350cc. But yes mostly people buy 350 cc because by economic point of view. My 500cc gives mileage of 22 which everyone could not afford so its up to you which kind of a person or rider you are. Otherwise only for commuting 350 cc is best. Dont go for a 500.it will turn out to be waste of moneyfor you because you only want it for office purpose. I hope this i formation is enough .. All the best
Did a ride from Pune to Jaipur and back on TB 350 ...... Gave me mileage of 45-55 kmpl ..... Comfort is amazing but if u r tall person ie. Above 6ft then it has minor issues as for taller people 😅 ..... Rest all the bike is amazing..... Using it for last 3 yrs ...!!
I don't understand that why do people sit in a lalloo style on Royal Enfield. Why can't they sit straight? It is a privilege driving RE. Don't sit with loose arms and back.
My experience with my Thunderbird 500 is not so good so far. It's because of only one thing ' it's very bad vibration". I can't drive my bike more than 80 kmph continuosly for even 15 minutes, because of the bad vibration. Otherwise the bike is beautiful , seating posture is very good.
can you please do a long term review of the desert storm 500 .. waiting for that particular one since long time..hope you will make it..thank you autoportal..
Ur video was looking impressive ..until you said..that the bike and is capable of 130 km p hr speed ..even though too stressed engine may somehow manage but everyone knows how stressed the engine may be at 100. Yes a property run in engine may be a bit smoother but dont exaggerate and arouse false hopes
Hello Guys. Please stop trolling him for 40kmpl. I driven My TB 500 (2018 model) last week from Mettur (TN) to Hyderabad. Only 20.75 litre of Petrol consumed for 835kms. Roughly around 40.25kmpl. Sorry for the previous troll comment.
Dude , wat a load of crap U posted ! I've been riding TB500 for 3 years including 1500 km long rides - the fuel gauge is shit, the rear disc lacks strength , at 100 kmph engine starts to strain . The back restand rear seat is one of the worst, the engine heats up in city traffic - It has to be customised for the purpose it was built - not worth 200,000 INR
I have TB 500 and its been almost 2 yrs now.. Its best when comes to touring long distances. If u want to ride long distances then go for TB 500 blindly. I would also suggest to check new Himalayan as its mix of both ( Touring + Off-roading + City )
Almost 2 lacs and yet no abs or tubless tires, to much vibrations, fuel indicator issue, high maintenance, gear box issue. I mean these bikes are so amazing to ride..they also sound pretty awesome but i only wish if RE could consider these points...if they do...boy RE will rule once again!
no way . I own the Thunderbird 500... it gives between 24-27kmpl in city and 29-32kmpl in highway... I believe no tb500 ever made that give you 40kmpl.... also he mentioning 3 month and 3000km ride as long term review is unacceptable.
Two things that question the authenticity of this review.. 1. 40+ KMPL... Joke of the decade. I get around 28 to 30 on highways and around 20 to 22 in heavy city traffic 2. 130 kmph top speed which I could never attain.. May be I weigh double at 80 Kgs than this guy.
rear mudguard and tail lamp are really ugly...seem to be ripped off from some cheap chinese bike...and do not gel well with design of the rest of the bike...
done 1000 km in 2 days on Thunderbird350
mileage is around 30-35kmpl
sujit sutar just after the delivery ?
Maybe because of fi it gives higher milege. What i know is that on highways it gives around 40 while in cities it gives 27 only.
Such a nice review that it has strengthened my resolve to buy this mean machine. Thank you buddy. Stay blessed.
so 3 month and 3000 km is long term... LOL
Prosenjit Debanshi you want the bike to be ridden and reviewed after 10 years?😂😂

Or Should i go with a used dominar 400.

Tirth Pandya if you want to tour more buy a Thunderbird. If you have city commute as your primary objective then classic.
Which is more comfortable in riding ?
Also i heard that RE has upgraded their lineup with BS IV and AHO , is it true ?
