I have a TB350 and i did close to 40k kms in 2 years. My cruising speed on a highway is from 90-100kmph, 80kmph is the sweet spot and i don't feel any vibrations till that point. Vibrations over 60kmph is a bit exaggerated. I was also there at Rider mania 2017, came all the way from hyd. 725 kms in 18 hrs, no overnight haults. TB is one of the best mid range cruisers

agreed. TB350 is one of the best mid range cruisers at the price point. 80 kmph is the sweet spot! below that and above that is just vibes. I've Done almost 85k kms in 3 years and never got bored of it! :D

Bro. you don't deserve a royal one..I ride my tb350 with an offroad silencer which smoothly touches 90-115 without as such vibration (heartbeat of the bike)..u are killing the engine by revving past 3000rpm for shift of the gears..Respect the bike dude!

Exactly! He seems so afraid while riding. He is confident only on empty road. I have TB500 and I feel minor vibrations only after 110kmph. You can reach 85kmph just in 4th gear.

Like many owners of 350 and 500 has posted here thier views, Faisal I watch your reviews and they are genuine. However in this case 350/500 bikes are not the "give it the beans bike". I had been riding a honda for 10 years and when I transitioned to TB350, I too had the disease of "give it the beans" :-) RE 350 and 500 are to ridden without out putting too much on the throttle. It eventually pulls up. Its like a couch on a wheel. With 40-60 kmph constant speed, it will still beat any bike and reach destination in complete comfort. If you ride an elephant like a horse, it will get you high maintenance cost. Drive it slow and gradual speed build up, you will enjoy the experience.

Agree.. honda has so many cbr versions. But we have so less launched in India. Just look at this years EICMA .. cbr 500 is there.. amazing bike but no guess whether it will be launched in india or not. Same thing with Z400. Being CKD units, it increases the price of bikes. KTM has some deal with bajaj and it's completely being manufactured here, but because of that many KTM fans outside india lost confidence in KTMs (which are made in India). Even I don't feel confident enough to buy KTM because not sure about after sales services in India because of bajaj.

120 kmph on Goan roads.. very nice.. Only did it with my pulsar 180 back in my college days on a long stretch from Miramar to Goa University..😊😀.. Now I have the thunderbird 350 original version.. and i must have spent more than 50k on its maintenance.. but still I love it.. Its my life saver.. And I have done speeds over 100 kmph..sometimes..😉

Ryder Moto actually it needs guts to mention the shortcomings of a RE, for very obvious reasons, and he did it well enough, this i am saying, when i myself own an enfield, proudly!!... there's always a scope for improvement in any bike...

Believe me I’ve done 25000 kms with this bike. The brakes are great, mirrors are great and doesn’t vibrate much, handling is the best part. It cruises upto 80-90 kmph with absolutely no vibrations, post that foot pegs vibrate hard and then the handlebar starts. FI is great, the odometer set doesn’t vibrate when you’re cruising.
The projector headlamp sucks, suspension is too rigid for city, it’s a pain in the ass “literally”.
Idling goes haywire and behaves like a madman when something goes wrong with air/ vacuum pipe. If FI adjustments are tweaked or something goes wrong on its own god help you coz the authorised service center guys turn helpless and are too dumb to understand your problem and just say it’s normal.

And in verye service they inly change engine oil and do somthing in others parts that cant b fix ....and after service i ride 200 km n i find a New fault ...i go to service station they check n diagnose the problem n tell it cant be repaired nor vlb fix u need to reolace ..everytime on service i hv to replace the things charger battery now its tym for fule pump .....n god now what all i hv to change........

It sells like no other bike in its segment ... Try to do sach pass on ur ktm duke 390 ... Ull understand the reason why this bike sell more and produce 42 nm torque@4000 rpm ... Terrains like those test the metal and the rider at the same time ... When will this company realize they need to evolve sitting with old design and not upgrading anything majorly. That speedo on the bike swings due to vibes that it might fell off someplace..., once i rode a classic 350 and @around 60kph if i wanted to steer it's like handling an elephant.. Vibes give a nice massage also after 60kph...The only thing i like in re bikes is the best seat comfort it's like a sofa for me.. No bike has provided me such comfort... Hope they listen and upgrade... If something this old and unupgraded one is selling this huge then think how much potential it'll have with a proper upgrade.. But i think it'll never happen.... Or maybe after 100 years later... 😂😂, you tried 100kph on this one faisal... OMG..! 😉
it is a totally worthless product. people are buying just for show of purpose & even they are not aware about the specification also. every thing is bull shit about this bike apart from the vintage look & comfortable riding position.i just laugh when a royal enfield owner proudly say that i ride "thunderbird".more or less it can only use as a showpiece or as vibrator purpose

My bike tb350 2015 model.. sounds like someone playing with metal rods after bumper to.bumper traffic.. my bike gets all the attention bcoz of that sound😂 ..which is greater than nearby buses and trucks.
The problem is from a month after the purchase... Five times tappets .. cylinder heads.. and others are replaced.. but no solution...
Royal Enfield is the biggest scammer in motorcycle companies... And the service center guys provide very good solution to problem.. complete 5000 km it will.fade away... Next complete 10000 km then it will solve automatically... Someday they will suggest burn the vehicle ..it will fade away.

Ur review may be an honest one but the way u had been making fun of our beloved RE😮😮...in every statement u said vibrations, noise, slowness as if it is nothing more than a vibrator...that not fair...i own standard 350 bs4 n it also vibrates after 60 kmph...80-90 kmph it reduces little but but after 100 it screams as if the engine might seize 😂😂

Purchase a TB500 2016 Model and feeling that I have purchase a white elephant . Parts are so expensive , I am going to sell both my kidneys. Dude who the kcuf over takes anything on a first gear man. I would rather stay in 4th gear give it a bit of clutch, twist the throttle and it just swings away . That's the best part of having so much of torque in your hands man..and you don't drive it like a KTM rc. I agree, the top speed you can cruise is 90kmph
Hi brother.. I didn't like one thing.. U sometimes become biased. You should understand one thing that royal Enfield bikes are single cylinder with heavy weight metal body... Vibrations will be there.. It's a cruiser bike, not a sports bike.. You should not measure its speed in 0 to 100.. I like u and ur channel, I am not that Royal Enfield lover, but these r my views that I want to share with you

It's made for calm ride and if you want punch and not mature ride there are many options. TB is for mature riders not for raving it hard.🤷♂️

The sad thing is lack of alternatives. No, hear me out. It is about the pillion seat. Most motorcycles now have sloped and raised pillions. If you want a family friendly pillion then all you have to choose from is Royal Enfield, or some kind of 100cc Splendor or scooter. Even on the new Jawa the seat length is too short. Especially if you have elderly women riding pillion, they don’t want to do acrobatics getting on a KTM and ride like Betal on Bikram’s back. Pulsar and Unicorn are better but they are still sloped and raised. Even Mojo and Dominar the pillion is too raised. Previous generations had things like RX, RD, Yezdi, KB, Suzukis and such to have family-friendly exciting vehicles. I wish Honda and Yamaha would come in with retro styled bikes with some amount of excitement factor. That retro style is much more utilitarian than wannabe-MotoGP racers. As a 35 year old with aging parents whom you want to carry on your bike once in a while, what do you buy? Don’t say a car, that’s another discussion that brings in running costs, traffic, parking and so on. So you end up buying either a Royal Enfield or a Honda Activa or a Platina. That’s why these sell so well.
At least Bajaj and TVS should see this obvious gap in the product range.
Till then we are stuck with RE. Whatever else you say, the pillion on the Thunderbird still works better than most other bikes.

No need to ask anyone if it can cruise or not. Have rode classic 500 and it can easily cruise at 80-110 km/h. Faisal just wants to make it look worse than it actually is because his favourite bikes are not selling as much. Everyone has choice of its own and everyone should understand that.
actually it can cruise at 100 kmph easily in 5th gear with tacho at around 3000-3500 r.p.m but the major thing with RE is the break in period if the break in period is done perfectly the engine is fairly smooth until 4500 rpm but if the break in period is done badly it can affect the smoothness of the engine

cruising is not doing 100 or 120 kmph with the tacho hitting redline that is speeding, cruising basically means doing steady pace with tacho at a relatively low rpm. but anyway ktm makes some of the bang for buck products in india
