Hearing about the inconsistent emulation on higher end systems makes me hesitate on getting this device. I appreciate your detailed reviews and take your insights at high value. I am going to have to really consider which pricier handheld I end up getting.
Honestly, what higher end systems are you emulating? Don’t say switch because that’s currently dead for all android based handheld, meaning inconsistent performance either way, capped by software. PS2? I would say with the right configurations 95% of the game catalogue can be ran on the RP5. You can buy get an Odin 2 portal but you’ll be paying $200 for switch and some higher end ps2 emulation.
ive been debating either getting rp5 or Odin 2 and I decided to go with the latter. I'd rather pay the extra $80 just so i don't have to fiddle with settings just to play any gc or ps2 game
We ordered the black version because the OLED screen will really hide the black bars in 4:3 aspect ratio games. Thank you for the review and congrats for excelent contents as well!
$250 including shipping. It's so purdy. I seriously thought about adding it to the glass case collection. Ever since I saw the mini, I was really drawn to that glass front. Then I remembered that I had bought a PS Vita 1000 for $80 that was waiting attention from a long list of to do's. I bought a $8 card adapter and a $40 512GB sd card. I tried the new Vita hack (that's a lot easier than the first one). Now I've got a glass front handheld that plays my whole psone, psp, and psvita library. Then I took $110 and bought a Intel 12th Alder Lake N100 Mini PC--NucBox G2 (16Ram/512Gb) on today's Ali 11.11 sale. It was a tough call but I'm happy with what I got.
@@Eragonfrost Yeah, I bought it as my 3rd vita. I already had my original 1000 and I bought a panda white slim model in box for 170$. Then I saw that 80$ 1000 at an electronics market and was like, "Dammit, now I have to buy this too or I'll regret it later." I also give custom systems away to close friends and family. It's like giving friends mixed tapes in the 80s, but better.
I pre-ordered my Retroid Pocket 5 had to change it to Black cuz it looks so good and it's been a year of Retro gaming for me Thanks to Russ and thank you for wearing jeans for the pocket test I appreciate that
I purchased this for my wife and I as our first emulator handheld. I am still interested in the Odin 2, but the design and screen of the RP5 sold me. If I was going to spend as much for an Odin or Odin Portal, I think I would just get the Steam Deck and that's not what I'm after. It can play the vast majority of PS2 games, but most PS2 games I want to play have a Gamecube version (sometimes superior). And I prefer playing Switch games on Switch for now because I don't want to emulate my own Switch games and I would be tempted to emulate games I don't own for an in-production modern console.
As an Odin 2 Base owner, I am very happy with the device, but based on your needs/wants with emulation, I think the RP5 will do everything you’re looking for.
Wow I haven’t tuned in for a while, talk about a massive upgrade in lighting and review and video quality!! Love it. Thank you RGC for fuelling my passion with retrogaming!

Gamecube Color for the question at the end =) thanks for that video, and thanks for pointing that stick in the way thing. Still, can't wait to receive it !
Great review, and exactly what we expected. Not really sure why so many people are interpreting this review as “performance bad, buy Odin”. Again this is a mid tier device, under $250 that will still play everything the RP4 pro did, as well as some high end emulation (which will only get better after updates), and a better display / premium design. If performance is your main factor then you’ll always be looking at Odin, as it will always be the higher end option so that the two products do not offset each other given they’re sibling products marketed at different cost categories.
Hello fellow Irishman 🇮🇪 Remember to vote 29th Nov 👍 I won't be able to because of vacation (cheers Simon) and taking some of Retro Game Corps Russ's advice, I didn't bring 3 handhelds along. The most pocketable one wins this time around for the airport "lounge"/transit time 😊
As someone who has an s20fe with a gamesir g8 on it, seeing that the pocket 5 is basically that feels kinda funny to me. Because it makes sense why Retroid is going with these specs. You'll find all over online for people who want to get into gaming emulation with enough power but on a budget, most people would say to get an s20 or LG V60. Now that they're 4 years old and samsung has officially stopped updating the s20 line as of October, there's probably a lot of left over stock/used phones from Samsung and LG for Retroid to just take and turn into a handheld. The s20 and v60 both have the snapdragon 865 cpu, Adreno 650 gpu, 8gb ram, and amoled screen, all which the RP5 has. So if you have either of those phones, you'll have a pretty good idea of how this device may work for you.
Very nice video Russ, I had preordered the RP5 for my fiance to get the promo pricing as this looked like the best handheld for the money and I'm happy to see reviews like yours affirming my assumptions, with the only real gripe being the positioning of the left joystick I can't wait for her GC RP5 to ship so I can get it loaded up with games and give it a spin. Hopefully emulation in android on the later nintendo consoles improves to the point of being able to run more complex titles on the 865 to make this a nearly timeless machine.
I have a Samsung S20 FE I got for $50 last year that has the same chipset, RAM and OLED screen but 120hz. I use it with my GameSir X2 and it performs beautifully. If it wasn’t for this I would be all over the Retroid Pocket 5. Such a good product for $220-$250.
@@Watamel0n Just kept an eye out. She originally wanted $75. I asked if she’d do $50 if I came and got it right then and she agreed. It’s locked to Verizon but I don’t care because I just use it for gaming. Last of the “S” line that had an SD card reader.
@@EliHank Lol. You can't kill my vibe, Dude. Switch is not a true portable IMO. Half the RPGs I want to play on the Switch the text is too small to read in handheld mode without going blind. I play my Switch games on a PC Emulator in 4k, it's a much better experience (and yes, I own the originals too). I do however have a backlog of PS2, PSP, Vita and GameCube games that are going to look magnificent on this. 😊
@@raeldor lol I was just messing with you man. RP5 is absolutely incredible for what it is, especially at that price point. Think I'll still buy the Odin 2 Portal this year and maybe just wait for the RP6 but I don't fault anyone that buys an RP5 right now. Enjoy 👍🏻
@@EliHank Hehe, thanks. I would consider the portal, but it's a whopping 415 grams, and probably a bit overkill for my needs. My ideal would be the RP Mini if it had edge-to-edge screen.
if you want a bezel-less experience, the Odin 2 Portal could be an option as well. It's not out yet (they should start shipping in late december), but it's pretty much the Odin 2 with a much better screen for nearly the same price.
Based on the comments im seeing, im onr of the only people who clicked this vid because im genuinely considering getting this device. Amazing review as always, i appreciate everything you do dude!
Really appreciate your reviews. Been eyeing a handheld to play older backlogged titles but always been ignorant/intimidated about emulation and such. Currently wavering between this and the Odin 2. Thanks again!
The beauty of these videos is they are somehow re-watchable!! I’m brand new to handhelds and I’ve only done simple emulating in the past. I got the RP mini when it came out and I’ve had it for like 3 weeks. It’s such an awesome starter device I can play up to PS2 without issue (some PS2 games do struggle) plus the Wii games I’ve tried work well too. I’m experimenting with new stuff and as I progress I’ll move up to trying out tougher things like Wii U, switch, pc ports, android gaming, etc. and maybe by the time I get good at that stuff on my PC (nothing fancy but a solid gaming laptop) maybe I’ll be looking for a bigger and more powerful device and maybe the RP6 will be on the horizon then. Anyway all this to say great video I really appreciate your honest opinions and how you try to help us make these tough decisions. To quote you, Russ, in an older video, when you’re looking for a device you are looking for what’s the best fit RIGHT NOW based on what you wanna play. And then you just go from there. Just the nature of this beast
I wish retroid would take a shot at making a windows or steam OS based handheld. They have the retro market cornered when it comes to their devices but all their newest devices have that "its ALMOST perfect" feeling. its like they want to get as close as possible to high end emulation as possible without actually diving into it. at a $200 price point, its hard not to just recommend a used steam deck for a 100 bucks more if your goal is use high end emulators. if your not looking to emulate high end, the pocket 2S is a much better and cost efficient option. the nicest thing I can say about the RP5 is "its the cheapest and most powerful handheld that can still fit in your pocket".
Yes there probably is a market for something in between a Steam Deck and this, in terms of cost / performance / size. TBF if they go with x86 based chips that would end up with a much higher power envelope. At least if using off the shelf parts, AMD and Intel's newest chips seem very power efficient, but they are optimised for general computing use and not ideal for a gaming handheld. Valve are moving units at a scale where they can justify getting a custom design made, Retroid aren't. If think if they want to compete with PC handhelds the best way for them to do that right now is probably by sticking with ARM chips, and using compatibility layers like Wine / box86 etc so they can at least run lightweight / older games (which is what I've found I typically end up playing on my Steam Deck anyway). Winlator exists, but as the Retroid Pocket 5 also supports Linux (through Rocknix) that potentially offers an easier route, with reduced overhead, to emulating a PC / x86 environment.
Although I already pre ordered the Odin 2 mini and I'm already extatic, I absolutely love the RP5's design! Beautiful screen, great controls and with that price it's hard to compete 😁😁😁
Great review! I'm getting the black one for sure! If I can play up to the GameCube console this is all I need right there. That AMOLED screen looks great! Looks like an endgame console for me! Can't wait to have it!
Bought an Odin 2 Mini a few months back so have absolutely no interest in buying anything else for a long long time, but still couldn't wait to watch this review.
I sense that if they don't fumble the ball, the odin 2 *portal* will be everybody's endgame device: screen the size of the steamdeck while being smaller, 1080p120, more power than you can use on android, decent price.
I don't mind where the analog sticks are as long as they're symmetrical, which is a major thing that makes the Retroid Pocket series my go-to. There's a million other retro handhelds for you to choose from if you like the asymmetrical layout. Keep the sticks symmetrical please.
Having a Wii U joypad style with both sticks on top would be nice on a device like this. You do have to hold it a bit differently though and it can be harder to reach the bumpers.
So tempting and amazing review as always Russ but I think I'm going to hold off until I see your Odin 2 Portal review. Wouldn't want to have buyer's remorse after I buy my RP5 😅
I mean, you're all welcome to call me crazy, but I went for the Retroid Pocket 4 Pro even when this was available for pre-order. There aren't that many Wii U or PS2 games on my list that are *must haves*. I'm able to run Morrowind, Wind Waker, Viewtiful Joe, and a ton of others off my RP4P. I'm also REALLY particular in how buttons feel and their placement. So when I saw this video about the performance for PS2 and Wii U, plus how the button action is, it made me very happy I stuck with the 4 Pro.
Possibly a silly question, but will your starter guide for the RP4/RP4 pro work with setting up the RP5? Or are you planning on doing an updated starter guide for the 5?
Hi, yes it will generally work the same, but I will also work on an updated guide too, just because there are some changes that have happened in the Android emulation space since the last video.
@RetroGameCorps awesome. No idea how long before I order one, or how long it will take to arrive. But if need be, it's good to know that I can make do with the old guide for now. Before I found your channel and got my Odin 2 I knew very little about retro handheld devices, emulation, bios files, button mapping, etc. But you're Odin 2 guide really taught me a lot in a short amount of time, so hopefully the RP5 will be a mostly intuitive experience for me as well. Thanks Russ, you're the best 👌
29:47 Honestly I can see "Green Dude/Boy Sailing (in a talking boat)" as a description someone who has no idea about the ins and outs of Gaming could give if they somehow wanted to buy The Windwaker.
I’ll be ordering my RP5 in black here in the next couple weeks, and I’m super excited for it! I’ve loved the 3+ and 4 Pro a lot already, and I’m sure I’ll love the 5 as well. I *do* have the Odin 2 Pro on the way yet, hoping it’ll be in any day now, but that form factor and screen are too good to pass up. It’ll be a wonderful addition to my collection!
As these devices become more powerful I think it makes more and more sense to have analog stick on top. I think for the performance of the RP5 it still makes sense to have DPAd on top. But for the next iteration I'm hoping for analog stick on top
I think Analog stick on bottom is one of the major things that will keep me from getting it. For me, D pad on top is great for PS1 and below, but once you can do so much above that, including really good android gaming, it seems like a waste to focus on D pad. Odin 2 just looks a bit too chonky for me, want that Retroid form with analog on top!
@@MagusguileHaving both sticks below is absolutely terrible for shooters, and racing titles. It feels terrible speaking in terms of ergonomics. The Odin mildly suffers from this issue with only the right stick being placed lower, but I digress. Having grown accustomed to the Steam Deck, its ergonomics feel way too natural, and it's almost ruined other handhelds because of them for me.
This is my first true retro handheld that I'll be buying and I'm so excited, I currently use my rog ally for emulation but the size makes playing on the go or at work a bit tiresome so having a pocketable handheld like this will be perfect
I promised myself I would buy the next Retroid pocket device when released. But ultimately, I ended up buying the gamesir G8+ and loved that controller so much, I purchased an Alldocube mini turbo 8” tablet to go with the GameSir controller. Hopefully I won’t regret it over a RP5. Love the content, Russ. Thank you.
Preordered the black one but I’m a little disappointed that PS2 performance isn’t as good as I thought. Could it be better with the final release with the extra work going into A13?
Love your videos, bought my Gameboy-adjacent handheld based on your reviews. been thinking about a larger model, specifically to play Champions of Norrath - wouldn't complain if this was included in reviews more, like your older videos! =D
Wow, video uploaded 16 seconds ago! In the Pocket Test, that you were so kind enough to do. You mixed it up, and instead of your usual baggy shorts (Hawaiian Special) you wore Chinos! And as you say, and as we can see it does "fit" into your pocket barely, but it is far from being comfortable. I would agree with you and say the Retroid Pocket 5 is NOT pocketable. I think the new Retroid Pocket Mini probably is. These devices are getting too large to grab and take it with your keys, wallet, and phone. It is why the Retroid Pocket 2S was such a good product, and where the 4 Pro has issues. At these larger sizes, I think the logical thing would be to get something even more comfortable, which would probably be the Valve Steam Deck. Great video, and happy gaming !!!
Not by close, just look how these device are evolving, I'm amased how many different and quality options are there. More powerfull with better screens and better ergonomics. Competition newer was so fierce. I think we will have many great devices in future, for sure.
So for the easy systems ... no problem, but lots of other devices can emulate those well, too. For the challenging systems, it's hit and miss, and you'll likely need to tinker to get the best performance. For me, that puts it in no man's land. I'll buy something cheaper if i just want an SNES/Genesis machine. I'd spend more if I really wanted something that could reliably do Wii, PS2 and Switch. For now, I'm sticking with a controller bolted to my S24+ and waiting a year for the Retroid 6.
First of all, I’m super excited to dive into one of Russ’s depth reviews! Now, getting into it-honestly, for its price, the RP5 is a great option. It can emulate pretty much everything up to GameCube, PS2 (and I’m sure with the right tweaks, it’ll run whatever you throw at it), Wii, and even some 2D Wii U/Switch games. At one point, I considered getting the Odin 2, but if you want one with cool colors, you have to go for the Pro model, which starts at $369 plus shipping. At that price, it’s basically competing with a Steam Deck. Unfortunately, Android emulators just aren’t quite there yet when it comes to fully emulating Wii U/Switch. So, you end up with an expensive Android device that can’t perfectly handle those consoles. Not really the Odin 2’s fault, but it does affect its real-world usability. That’s where the RP5 shines-it’s a solid alternative at a much lower price for what most people are looking for in terms of retro emulation. And if you really want to emulate Switch… well, there’s always the option of getting an actual Switch. Cheers, Russ!
Depends from what you wanna do, and how much money you wanna spend. I buyed rp5 in pre-order, and I payed 190 euros. The odin 2 pro cost about 370 euros
Odin 2 mini or Odin 2? Both Odin 2s face buttons are 2x superior, and the back buttons + ergonomics are great, but the the size personally was a bit too large for me. Otherwise its the best in class device. The odin 2 mini i like more, but I found it too thick, and the lack of handle curves was a downgrade, but is still fantastic. I would prob recommend the retroid pocket 5 for other people because while the face buttons are noisy and not as good feeling, its prob the least concerning for the average person. For me however, face buttons are a literal dealbreaker because its what Im always pressing regardless of analog or D pad, and tactility and good feeling are essential, so I myself would go odin 2 mini.
I love your videos Russ, but for those watching always remember to judge the product that's available NOW not based on promises to fixes. Both Retroid and Ayaneo have a pretty good track record for addressing issues (AYN, not so much), but it's never a 100% sure thing.

That’s an amazing price on the Vita, I got my Vita slim for about 150$
@@Eragonfrost Yeah, I bought it as my 3rd vita.
I agree. Plus, it’s already pretty hard to choose what game to play on these devices. Don’t need a few thousand more to distract me.
As an Odin 2 Base owner, I am very happy with the device, but based on your needs/wants with emulation, I think the RP5 will do everything you’re looking for.
I have this on the way. Will original Xbox be possible?
@@antiantifa886Possibly in the future, but not for now.
@@antiantifa886Possible but not optimal. See 20:10
Wow I haven’t tuned in for a while, talk about a massive upgrade in lighting and review and video quality!! Love it. Thank you RGC for fuelling my passion with retrogaming!
Welcome back!
That is a really great review! Thank you very much for taking the time to make such a great content ! I'll be waiting for the RP5 pro 😊
I already have an odin 2, and miyoo mini plus. My first android handled was a retroid pocket 2 that things was amazing. I just ordered this RP5 I'm exciting having it back in the family
I ordered the GameCube version with the Ice Blue back plate mod. Can’t wait for it to ship and get my hands on it! Love your videos and just how honest you are in your reviews!
Finally, somebody did this comparison between Linux and Android in battery life. Thanks.
Hinting at the portal, can't wait for that review.
If I didn't already have 846,000 handhelds I'd be interested in this, it's probably the best thing for emulation on the market right now
key words are "right now"
Outstanding review. Very premium indeed. Great work Russ 👌
Watching Russ always brightens my day, what a great guy
Man I first saw you videos when I was looking for reviews for the retroid pocket 2. RP's and your channel have come a long way!
Great stuff!
I'll watch this later this evening (I'm in Ireland).
I've already pre-ordered the GC colour but, I'm looking forward to watching this.
Out of interest, did you order from Retroid direct? Did you use 4px or DHL for shipping? apparently 4px will get past customs for VAT.
Hello fellow Irishman 🇮🇪
Remember to vote 29th Nov 👍
I won't be able to because of vacation (cheers Simon)
and taking some of Retro Game Corps Russ's advice, I didn't bring 3 handhelds along. The most pocketable one wins this time around for the airport "lounge"/transit time 😊
@@DragonDreamVNY Hey man, cheers for the comment!
I will indeed be voting on the 29th. 🍻🇮🇪
Thank you for this one. It feels like, that this was the most honest review for this device so far.
And it helped me choosing my second device.
Whew, I was worried that I made a mistake buying an Odin 2 Pro, but now I am relieved!
Odin 2 is still THE KING!!!
Yes, but wayyy uglier
It's over twice the price...
The odin 2 will be fine until the next chipsets come out
Until the OLED version comes out!
I would hope so for that price point lol
Just ordered, thanks for the review, It'll be a nice upgrade from my Retroid 2s
RP5 is super tempting, but I think I'll wait for the Odin 2 Portal, it's looking to check all the boxes
Exactly what I'm waiting for as well 👍🏻.
Thanks for the video. This confirms my choice for the black one. I play 99% of the time in the train to work the screen is a really big update for me.
I have a Samsung S20 FE I got for $50 last year that has the same chipset, RAM and OLED screen but 120hz. I use it with my GameSir X2 and it performs beautifully. If it wasn’t for this I would be all over the Retroid Pocket 5. Such a good product for $220-$250.
damn, that was a good deal
Yeah I'm in 2 minds, I've got a Steam Deck, a Switch and old android phone with a gamesir x2 that runs up to PS2 fine 💀 but damn this looks good
I seriously dont know where you guys get these amazing deals :D
@@Watamel0n Just kept an eye out. She originally wanted $75. I asked if she’d do $50 if I came and got it right then and she agreed. It’s locked to Verizon but I don’t care because I just use it for gaming. Last of the “S” line that had an SD card reader.
Buying this as my primary emulation device to back up the SD oled. Just perfect size for everyday carry.
That bezel-less OLED screen and the lighter weight has me totally sold over the Odin. Can't wait for mine to arrive. 🤩
Have fun playing Switch games on your RP5...oh wait 😢
I bet Russ is going to love the Odin Portal.
This is the first handheld in a long time that got me excited. I want it to run Batocera and they are working on that. Exciting times.
Thanks Russ answered my questions. I will wait for the Odin 2 portal. 👍
Really appreciate your reviews.
Been eyeing a handheld to play older backlogged titles but always been ignorant/intimidated about emulation and such.
Currently wavering between this and the Odin 2. Thanks again!
"Green Dude Sailing" lmao incredible
The design looks so nice!
Looks generic and uninspired, imo.
Think it looks fantastic, not too flashy and a bit more mature than the other retro consoles that look more like toys
Great review! I'm getting the black one for sure! If I can play up to the GameCube console this is all I need right there. That AMOLED screen looks great! Looks like an endgame console for me! Can't wait to have it!
That almost edge to edge oled display is really what sold me
Bought an Odin 2 Mini a few months back so have absolutely no interest in buying anything else for a long long time, but still couldn't wait to watch this review.
I sense that if they don't fumble the ball, the odin 2 *portal* will be everybody's endgame device: screen the size of the steamdeck while being smaller, 1080p120, more power than you can use on android, decent price.
Really appreciate an honest look at the pros and cons of this device! One of your best reviews, yet, Russ! 🍻🤘🏼🔥
Love the Joyce Manor shirt!
Had to hunt to find this comment, never seen that shirt but love me some Joyce Manor! I got a heart tattoo!
bro has good taste
Thanks Russ, you're the best 👌

how much time do you spend ediing videos. have you ever thought about hiring a video editor?
I, too, perform extensive and extremely cutting edge testing of my handhelds using rubber bands and tape.
29:47 Honestly I can see "Green Dude/Boy Sailing (in a talking boat)" as a description someone who has no idea about the ins and outs of Gaming could give if they somehow wanted to buy The Windwaker.
💚
What’s that game? Wind Breaker? This is clearly Green Dude Sailing
yeah man, its Green Dude Sailing.
I hope they keep analog stick on bottom, just because that's what I like and that's already rare outside of specifically PS controllers.
This is my first true retro handheld that I'll be buying and I'm so excited, I currently use my rog ally for emulation but the size makes playing on the go or at work a bit tiresome so having a pocketable handheld like this will be perfect
Ayn Odin 2 portal 7inches and oled screen and if u are the early bird , u can buy it at 299 same as Odin 2 base model.
Hey Russ, love your reviews! I've just bought the RP5 black version. Can't wait to play with this amazing handheld!
I always get confused: is Green Dude Sailing the monarchs' daughter or the main character?
I promised myself I would buy the next Retroid pocket device when released. But ultimately, I ended up buying the gamesir G8+ and loved that controller so much, I purchased an Alldocube mini turbo 8” tablet to go with the GameSir controller. Hopefully I won’t regret it over a RP5. Love the content, Russ. Thank you.
Preordered the black one but I’m a little disappointed that PS2 performance isn’t as good as I thought. Could it be better with the final release with the extra work going into A13?
same here
Love your videos, bought my Gameboy-adjacent handheld based on your reviews. been thinking about a larger model, specifically to play Champions of Norrath - wouldn't complain if this was included in reviews more, like your older videos! =D
You're the man, Russ!
Thanks for reading the comments, engaging with us, and doing me a favour with that Fashion Modelling 😂
It’s been a Great Journey following you with the Retroid Series, planning on getting my Own soon!
We’ve come so far after 4 years of this amazing hobby. This is endgame devices.
Not by close, just look how these device are evolving, I'm amased how many different and quality options are there. More powerfull with better screens and better ergonomics. Competition newer was so fierce. I think we will have many great devices in future, for sure.
Lol no. Using a five year old CPU
I just ordered the GC version with the dock. $300 after shipping, fingers crossed that it's even half as good as you've convinced me.
ODIN 2 OR RP5? Which one should I buy?🤓
Super excited to get my RP5. I pre-ordered the white one along with a black mini. I love the mini and haven't stopped playing it since I got it.
Is it worth the bucks?
Thanks for the review Russ!
Happy to stick with my Odin 2 Pro 😅
Bro, when Odin 2 Portal Review :)
I love your videos Russ, but for those watching always remember to judge the product that's available NOW not based on promises to fixes. Both Retroid and Ayaneo have a pretty good track record for addressing issues (AYN, not so much), but it's never a 100% sure thing.
Is that a retroid pocket 5 in your pocket, or are you just happy to see me 😂awesome review as always.
I had no plans buying this before - now I have even less plans buying it. Phenomenal video
Well, this made me cancel the RP5 pre-order. I want effortless PS2; what good is that screen when I have to knock down to native?
There is no android device, that can play every ps2 game effortlessly.
On the same boat! I'm probably just going to pay $70 more just to buy the odin 2
@@rottentomatoes5171 Why dont you buy the odin 2 portal for $80 more? I think the pre order price is still available and you just have to spent $10 more ($310).
It is really amazing that the competition can't do nothing to surpass the ODIN 2. Thanks to you I decided to purchase it at March and it really deserved it, and it is really nice to see it being compared to nowadays handhelds and being better than them. Thanks Russ for an exceptional review once again! You owe us a review of the AYN super dock though (just a friendly reminder) :)

4 inches is average
I want this. Yesterday. I was about to get an RP4P, but I definitely want this one.
i would wait a little longer to buy this device. we dont know if the screen has a burn in problem yet. This is their first AMOLED display.
I highly doubt they designed or manufactured the screen. Probably bought it from a smartphone supplier.
Watching this happy that I've pre-ordered the 16 Bit colour. Nice review as always Russ 👌
