Please do a video on the pros and cons of dropping then turning vs hip turn starting the swing. It seems like so many coaches are promoting the squatting and rotating of hips to pull the upper body through but your swing is simpler.
Me and my golf just did a video with the guy from the Club Champion Channel, I found it very useful, they turn the down swing into a very simple two piece movement.
A couple things I would add. Don't let your weight go to the outside of the trail leg, it's hard to get back when you're a bit tired and lead with your hip towards the target not spinning out like he showed.
O I so wish I could or have the money to get over to England and get a few lessons from Pete you really do make it look simple mate. Love ya work big fella
So I recently realized through Paddys channel how to almost turn your shoulder down and not sway. Combined with this rolling if right foot drill, I finally got this squatting pressure in my right hip... can't wait to try it out!
Is the “roll your right foot” drill similar to “keep your back to the target as long as possible”? I’ve been working on that to stop turning my upper body so much. Thanks Pete!
Very much need to try this, I block myself. 34.5 degree 8 iron, no wonder 190 yards. My MP62 8 is 39, 7 is 35. I see 190 at my 6. They need to start putting degrees on the bottom like wedges. 😮
Can you address “pinning your left arm against your chest”? I’ve seen instruction to not do that, and keep space between your lead elbow area and your chest, but this feels like I would pin my arm just to get depth. Do you mean get the depth by “pushing” my entire chest or strictly my arms?

This please

I think the move is the hips start the swing but they move lateral until around impact then they rotate.

One of my favorite parts of swingquest is every video drop is a lovely reminder to keep practicing and engaging in swing thought
Thanks Pete and team!

That would indeed be amazing! A truer statement has seldom been spoken.

I could watch your swing for hrs
Your tempo is amazing! Can you show us how to get out tempo to be like yours??
Keep going pete, its the journey not the destination 😎

Game changer.
I bet the Wilson Dynapower Forged are awesome. I have the D9 Forged from a couple years ago and love them.
I'm subscribed! Cheers Pete!

Right hip follows right elbow

Can't get this to work with driver (of course)
Otherwise, nice tip! ❤
Did you use this in the open qualifying 😉
Cheap shot… did you make it on your side?
