I'm thinking Injustice 2 would have been a lot better if it was focused on Supergirl as the driving protagonist. In the game, she pretty much was just another victim of the "good = sucks" theme of the game's main story. She doesn't even get to be the one who defeats Brainiac, and I think the general plot would have been better if it was a battle for Supergirl's soul between Harley Quinn and Wonder Woman; the redeemed supervillain vs. the fallen superhero. Imagine if Superman died at the very beginning of the Injustice 2 comics, and Supergirl never even met him, so she only had stories to go off of from different people, such as Harley Quinn and Wonder Woman, leading up to the moment she defeats Brainiac, and has to choose between killing Brainiac or not, and would then clash between either Harley Quinn or Wonder Woman. This is just naturally basing the story off of the character developments done so far, instead of the actual main story where Harley Quinn and Supergirl are interesting characters, but no one else really develops at all, and neither Harley Quinn and Supergirl seem to have any real impact on the main story's plot.

(2) You also left out how Supergirl took on almost the ENTIRE Legion of Super-Heroes (plus Green Lantern, if memory serves) when they were being mind-controlled by Emerald Empress--and SURVIVED. This after thinking she was going to die because history said she didn't go back to the present. (Well, she still didn't go back, but that was because she'd fallen for Brainiac 5...) I think perhaps you need separate lists to cover animated Supergirl and comics Supergirl. I'm interested in seeing what you come up with. 😊

@@diegodreossi1458 I assume that the main reason is that the superman brand was mildly seperate from the rest of dc in the 60s and 70s and 80s. She wasn't well established enough to apear in the first team up between Wally, Dick and Garth, and I assume that the writers of the brave and the bold and of the eventual spin off book teen titians couldn't use her because of that seperation of the brands, added to the fact that she was like four years older than the oldest of them. More recently, the reasons are a bit more complicated. With the exception of poor donna, the titians kept their history pretty much in tact. Supergirl did not existed in dc between the years 1986-2003, not counting the shapeshifter or the angel. Infinite crisis didn't do any retconns that were overly obvious, more subtle retellings that change the context of things, plus supergirls updated origen didn't include the titians (for reasons). The New 52 had no idea what to do with the titians cause the entire idea of it was riddled with problems and really should not have happened. And then they wanted supergirl to be like how she was on TV, which did not include any titians. Overall, they should have made her a titian back in the 70s along with all of the people you mentioned except Kyle(I do not know what he is doing there, His origen hinges on it taking place after emerald twilight when he was in his early twenties).

It did look like a baby grow. She was really off in the New 52. She was too angry and Clark didn't give a damn about her. The first few issues were terribly decompressed.
