There are a lot of movies with PRETTY crappy practical effects out there (take a look at Gremlins 2 for example) both old and modern, and it has nothing to do with the effects being practical or CGI. The problem with CGI these days is that many VFX teams are underpaid and overexploited to get the effects done in absurdly short deadlines, which is why they end up looking anything but convincing in the final product. While other classic movies like Jurassic Park and Terminator 2 made a blend between CGI and practical effects that have aged better because they were given enough amount of time to get polished.

That was one of the most genuinely teen!Kara characterisations that I've ever seen. The body language is spot-on! Meanwhile, Clark is learning just what it's like to have an adventurous and defiant little sister! I did love the bit when the Kents help her become Linda Danvers in more than just appearance. The big disadvantage of becoming associated with the Bat Clan, is, of course, all the various Robins who are going to appoint themselves surrogate older brothers.

Same here. I mean before NT did Supergirl, she mostly played innocent, victim, average Jane and shy characters. Imagine my surprise when I find out Maggie from the Nanny plays the head strong ET girl with demi goddess abilities. Not to mention voicing her bad mature clone Galatea.
The DCEU really wasn't invested in Metropolis and the people close to Clark outside of his mom and Lois. That was one of its biggest mistakes in its eventual downfall.
This was the peak of dc animation, between this, batman the animated series, batman beyond, spawn the animated series and spiderman the animated series, american anime was climced to its prime and was even so popular it was shown in japan. Everyone loved batman, spiderman, spawn, and superman. So much awesome content to appreciate. It would take a lifetime to explore it all.
It's kind of funny that Kara wore a wig and glasses and Clark identified her immediately, yet he justs wears some glasses and no one figures it out. I'll just chalk it up to some kind of super senses. I'll admit I did like the outfit she wore in this show and most of Justice League, but it is so 90s.
It works for Superman because A.No one expects Superman to have a secret identity. They assume he is Superman 24/7 B.Clark Kent at least in the comics is portrayed as a big meek country boy while Superman is him being Confident and macho C. They do not exactly look the same in outfit usually Clark Kent would wear baggier clothes so they do not see fully him
She really does. Guess, I'm not alone. Especially, during the Legacy episodes Supergirl was busy controlling Superman's robots around Metropolis and she really takes hits before her cousin/brother did.
I honestly like both of them, I like the jock, sometimes cocky tomboy supergirl but I absolutely LOVEE the Tim Burton supergirl who’s just as strong but still feminine! Edit: I just realized there are two DC Super Herero Girls TV series..for anyone wondering I was referring to the other better one with the more cartoony art style and w/the tomboy supergirl I was talking about. (The other version isn’t horrible but it’s definitely not as good as the one with “tomboy supergirl” let alone Tim Burton’s version)

The DCEU really wasn't invested in Metropolis and the people close to Clark outside of his mom and Lois. That was one of its biggest mistakes in its eventual downfall.
This was the peak of dc animation, between this, batman the animated series, batman beyond, spawn the animated series and spiderman the animated series, american anime was climced to its prime and was even so popular it was shown in japan.
Everyone loved batman, spiderman, spawn, and superman.
So much awesome content to appreciate. It would take a lifetime to explore it all.

It's kind of funny that Kara wore a wig and glasses and Clark identified her immediately, yet he justs wears some glasses and no one figures it out. I'll just chalk it up to some kind of super senses.

It works for Superman because
A.No one expects Superman to have a secret identity. They assume he is Superman 24/7
B.Clark Kent at least in the comics is portrayed as a big meek country boy while Superman is him being Confident and macho
C. They do not exactly look the same in outfit usually Clark Kent would wear baggier clothes so they do not see fully him

I honestly like both of them, I like the jock, sometimes cocky tomboy supergirl but I absolutely LOVEE the Tim Burton supergirl who’s just as strong but still feminine!
Edit: I just realized there are two DC Super Herero Girls TV series..for anyone wondering I was referring to the other better one with the more cartoony art style and w/the tomboy supergirl I was talking about. (The other version isn’t horrible but it’s definitely not as good as the one with “tomboy supergirl” let alone Tim Burton’s version)
