Love that you put the dissembly and diagnosis videos separate! Saved me time!

I have a 1.5yr old LG dryer that powers on but does not run. Lights and sounds all come on with power button. Smart Diagnostic didn’t detect any problems. I’m thinking it’s a motor problem.
Do you think it may be?
I’m going to run this test but might not be able to get to it till the weekend.

I just had this problem and it looked like one of the electrical leads on the motor terminal block arced somehow and severed the power connection. To determine this I had to take apart the dryer just as shown. Given that it's been a long time, I'm curious if you found something different or if you paid someone to repair it.

I’m not an electrician, but I think this is why he’s using a search protector

Hello sir I have a LG dryer that suddenly stopped working ! The motor wanted to turn but just moaned and stopped ! A week later it started working again amd it’s been a week and it’s doing it again the panel comes on the door is shut what else could it be ?

I did as instructed and the motor didn’t turn on at all. Does that mean the motor is bad? The only difference is that I did not have a yellow and white wire, I had a yellow and brown wire. The brown wire goes to the motor. And my terminal wires are both brown.

Was the motor the issue. Same thing here

That is extremely dangerous. You MUST connect a ground wire for safety. You should use a 3 wire cable with ground wire. If a wire accidentally slips out it will energize the entire metal casing and not trip the breaker. You need to have a ground wire connected to the metal casing so that if it becomes energized it will trip the breaker immediately. For an even additional layer of safety you should build a test plug with a GFCI receptacle. This will protect the circuit from any ground fault.
